companies who can be careless, casual or feel the need to take frequent breaks. Moved an entire household’s worth of furniture half a state away.
We were very impressed with how efficient and careful Opimove were during our recent relocation. They were on time and delivered as promised, working hard to ensure a smooth result. All the boys were very helpful and took extra care to ensure our furniture was protected and safely stored for the journey. We could not recommend a better team and would not hesitate in using Opitmove again. They are the best.

apartment Friday - 8hrs. It was a big move (3 bedroom and a lifetime’s amount of trash). The stress was taken out of it because they were punctual, packed and moved with care, very co-operative and helpful. Nothing damaged and the guys worked non-stop. On Tuesday it was Supi & Lijak and on Friday it was Supi & Vezzy- really great guys and you won’t be disappointed if they do your job.
Peni and David helped me with my move of the contents of a four bed house from the Sunshine Coast hinterland to Brisbane. They were punctual, polite, efficient, and respectful towards me and my property. Nothing was too much trouble and I am very happy with their service and that of the Optimove back office team. Great company to deal with!
Amazing service ! From the great communication prior to arrival to the level of care with my belongimgs. Callum and Lagi were amazing help, great conversationalist and really put my mind at ease with the usual stresses of the moving process. I would 100% use again and will be passing information onto friends and family for any moving needs.

with kindness and consideration. The online form was user friendly and detailed. I received a call shortly after submission to confirm details and/or add any other information for the move. Shortly after the call, I received the email quote as per phone discussions. I requested a quote for both the large and small truck because I needed to confirm the truck dimension restrictions at the property we were moving to. Once I confirmed this, Georgia made the adjustments and sent a confirmation email with the deposit details. Later I requested to change the time of the move (I actually changed it twice) and both times Georgia made the adjustments with ease and immediately, followed by an email confirmation with the new time slots. Note: it is important to go through all the documents they send in the email especially the ones applicable to your move. Optimove are very good and thorough. Deposit and Final Payment: Optimove requires a deposit to confirm the booking which very easy to pay online. We paid $100 for our deposit. We paid the balance after the move was completed.
On the Day Move Staff: Abdul and Jono Abdul and Jono were the removalists on the day. The estimated time of arrival (ETA) I had booked for was the 12-4pm slot, meaning they can arrive anytime between 12pm to 4pm. Therefore, we planned our day accordingly. On the day, I received a call at 12.20pm from Abdul with an update of the approximate ETA (after 2pm) and advising that they will call again once they were 30 minutes away. Abdul called at 2.30pm exactly 30 minutes away and he apologized that they were delayed due to traffic. We didn't mind this because it was understandable as it was a Friday afternoon and there is usually traffic on the north bound motorway (and the fact that they were responsive and well within the ETA time slot of 12-4pm). It actually worked perfect for us because we had the carpet cleaner that day as well (late morning) and finished before they arrived. They arrived exactly 30 minutes from the call (as they stated) and when they arrived, Abdul and Jono greeted us with such a big smile and full of energy. While Jono set the truck up, Abdul kindly asked for us to show him what all is going and so we did that and then it was all systems go! We were impressed with their energy, enthusiasm and professionalism through it all. I was particularly impressed with their wrapping as they placed the protective cover over the furniture and secured it with tape, then wrapped it nicely with shrink wrap. They were extremely neat and tidy and arranged all our belongings securely in the truck ensuring that there was not wastage of space (this really helped us as we just did one trip). These two guys went over and beyond. They were right behind us as we drove to the new property. We did not have to wait around for them to arrive at the new property. As we opened the garage door, they were already parked ready to unload. The unloading was so quick! They were efficient and effective. They placed everything where we needed it to go including the washing machine which went upstairs. We had some laughs and it was actually so enjoyable having these removalists on the day! They were also very considerate of our two children (one being on th autism spectrum) on the day of the move. They showed kindness and empathy to them while powering through the loading. They were awesome and we would highly recommend Optimove's Abdul and Jono!
Final comments Optimove actually has staff that care which make the entire moving experience less stressful. The price is also great. We would definitely use them again on any future moves and highly recommend Optimove Removal to anyone planning their next move!

The two gentlemen that moved us were very polite and did an excellent job in moving our house. Very efficient and did an excellent job and none of our belongings were broken or scratched.

Please be aware. There are hidden costs. 100 per 1/2 hr = $120 + call out fee (amount unstated) + GST. They comfirmed a time between 11am and 3pm but did not show up or call untill l called them at 3:30pm. stuffs with no damage at all. I found out later that half of the stuff they moved were damaged or cracked or scraped. The ratings seem to be misleading. I have moved many times from overseas and interstate using various movers, Optimove was the worst. The only good thing was the two hardworking movers.

asking if I would let them go home ( it was 1am) and return another time ( when it suited me) to complete the job at no extra cost, I was dubious, I was assured that the job would be completed in the coming days for the same price because the office has done the wrong thing by sending the wrong truck and booking an inappropriate time slot.
I stupidly agreed and paid.
10 days later and I have paid 4k for half a 3 bedroom unit moved, and the distance is only 20 minutes between locations. I have broken and lost items, furniture dumped in main areas instead of put where they go, items left outside at the old place in the rain, and the office is refusing to honour what I was told.
They are ignoring my requests for information regarding making insurance claims.
I have seen other reviews that show that this looks to be a common experience with this company. They have responded by threatening to sue me for defamation for writing an honest review and demanding that they will complete my move only if I remove my honest reviews. And they still want me to pay them, even though I have paid for 2 hours more than they worked already. And I paid all 3 workers a hefty tip as I felt so sorry for them as they were clearly overworked and not coping. And I bought them dinner and drinks.
Looks like I am off to court, shameful behaviour on the part of this company and its office employees.
( note : and they are doing this to a disabled person who was put in hospital from trying to assist their workers during the move, a week before Christmas, just lovely)

Sent one lady to pack 50 boxes – Good pricing. Easy and efficient to book and work with. Turned up on time. Overall, well above average from a management and organisation standpoint. the estimator and even had a call from their office where she double-checked because it sounded like an unexpected amount of packing. When the day came, they sent enough boxes and supplies, but only one person to pack. She was **extremely** rushed. By the end of the day, she way just chucking stuff into boxes with no packing at all.

two flights of stairs in 3.5 hours, including an hour of driving between locations. It was still morning when they departed after unloading! All my belongings were safely wrapped and undamaged in transit. They also let me help out where I could, even though I'm not that strong. I've heard many horror stories from people using movers about damage or stolen items - but I had no issues at all with Optimove.
