Optifast VLCD - Mocha

All good, but hold the bars – Found Optifast to be the best. Losing weight and not feeling hungry. I tried the whole range. I found the chocolate bars to be too nice and binge with them, so cannot have them.

What’s happened- change mocha – I have had these Mocha shakes for a few years-my cardiologist said they are fine- just for lunch and enjoyed themThey have changed the flavour and it’s AWFUL. What’s going on? Why change when chemist warehouse tell mr they are so popular. Not happy!

A great shake! – I have been using Optifast shakes on and off for three years. Mocha and chocolate are the best for flavour. The shake is very satisfying and staves off hunger. Have tried a few other brands and this definitely appeals the best to my taste buds. Used correctly, this is an excellent weight loss programme.

A delicious shake, much better than any competitors – I am 61 years old and have been on Optifast for almost 11 months now. I've tried a multitude of diets, even surgery, and various weight loss products/shakes, and Optifast is the only product/program that I've been able to stick to. Being morbidly obese and having had a health scare 12 months ago it was either lose weight or end up in a pine box. I am doing the intensive program which is 3 Optifast products a day. Usually I have 2 shakes and a bar, although sometimes I have the Optifast lemon creme dessert as a change from the Optifast chocolate bar.

I've tried all the flavours of shakes other than vanilla or chai. My favourite shakes are coffee and mocha. If you had told me 11 months ago that I would actually look forward to having a shake twice a day I would have laughed at you, but it's true. My coffee shake in the morning replaces my morning cuppa. The trick is using cold water out of the fridge, and adding ice cubes and blitzing in a blender. I also add a teaspoon of Nescafe Blend 43 coffee granules for a bit more of a coffee kick. (I do the same for my mocha shake as well.)

My preference for the Optifast bars are chocolate followed by the cappuccino flavours. Sadly they have changed the recipe and the chocolate bars are not as nice and chewy as they used to be. I keep mine in the fridge prior to eating. Optifast definitely works. Having tried other brands of diet shakes, eg Tony Ferguson, Aldi, Optislim, none of them are as good as Optifast. Yes it is more costly but the nutritional content is superior to the others, and the support available from the Optifast team via the website is excellent.
