Don’t waste your time. Booked online, travelled to pick up the vehicle and then were told they cancelled our booking. No prior warning until we were in the office. Total waste of our time and money. Will never go near this company again. Absolutely disgusting customer service and very very poor business management.

NOT HAPPY, JAN – I booked a truck online. The pantec was absolutely filthy, and smelled like oil. The vehicle was overdue for a service and oil change. The steering was all over the place. agreement, i was then told that anything above the height of the cab was not covered by insurance. So, if a branch fell on the roof, I'd have to pay the entire repair bill. The staff couldn't give a damn about their customer's experience and feedback. So here I am, writing a review for them to give a damn about. I'll never use them again...
Great experience – I needed a car for a few days because mine was getting fixed. Diana was super friendly and helpful at Orana in Moorooka. She explained everything step by step. DAMAGED MY LG 2 YEARS OLD FRIDGE – Terrible and damaged my LG fridge that is only 2 years old. They denied it when they put in the trolley no idea of packing it. We have to tell them to wrap the doors otherwise it will open when move. No idea at all, too young too dopey! I had this fridge delivered brand new in a box since then never leave my place until this morning! Lack of experience and doesn’t use any protective plastic for a stainless steel fridge. No common sense at all.

was operational. She even called me to ensure I had it working. When I was running late to return, she advised me on where to refuel. The truck was great, newish, easy to operate and performed well…except fuel costs blew out! Be aware of MUCH higher consumption than for a car or 4wd. A fabulous experience, and I look forward to hiring from Orana again.

WORST CAR RENTAL MOB IN THE WORLD – First the service was great. Then when a insedent involving another driver happened. Causing a few ding marks on the car. Minor damages. computer locked me out. Flashing a car with a padlock on it symbol. They organised a Tow and then decided I'm to pay 300.00 taking car off me making me sleep on the street... they accepted my 81.00 before organising the tow 10minutes prior. They did not issue a refund to me. They said I am responsible to the car until it's in the yard.... Meaning you pay 81.00 per day when they take the car off you..... Leaving you without working. Without a safe place to sleep at night. 7 days later they told me the car was reported nothing wrong with it. Only flat battery.
They lie to you. won't help with price 81 When you have the car for unlimited amount of days .. rip off. unlimited km,,,,,, bull.... 200km limit. The insedent is not finnished up as I am not at fault. They are taking way to long... no insurence reports made or filed.... yet they won't give me another car from the day of it happened. Yet I have proof.... They have the proof.... They won't give me my bond back. Even though I did not cause damage.
They want this down. Give My full bond back of 500.00 if not. I'll see you in court.

They have all these fees and charges although you pay 7.00 per day for damage wavers they claculated 300.00 for damages 81 00 x 6 days car rental when not in your car Tow rate.
The refuse to give refund.

Truck rental – Castle Hill depot All round good experience, I had a small issue which was rectified fast and courteously. The 4T truck with tail lifter performed well and was clean & appeared well serviced, staff were friendly & professional, facility clean and inviting. be charged $60+ for them to fill it. They were completely unreasonable so unless you fill up RIGHT NEXT DOOR to the depot, you will be charged a fee of $60+ for them to 'fill' it. Shameful.
Worst business ever – Simply the worst company I have ever dealt with.wouldnt send my worst enemy there. We paid $65 in cab fee's to get there and had to catch a cab back home again where we arranged with Andy's Auto rentals in 10 minutes a great little car from friendly, competent staff who couldn't have been more helpful. Staff members at Orana shit rentals could barely speak English which was probably the reason in part for this screw up. If your staff can't speak English clearly keep them of the phones but the rest of staff were just as useless. Could vent on this company for hours but not wasting anymore time on this company. This the first time I have bothered to do anything like this but people need to be warned.

Disappointing – Staff didn't advise that the truck leaks when it's raining. We had to return it a couple of hours after renting as when we tried to load it with all our furniture, it was absolutely soaking inside. told that there is a sign inside the back of the truck explaining that it leaks. Considering it was pouring down outside we would have thought staff might have advised this before letting us drive away. It seems to be a common problem for other customers as well. We were unable to complete our trip and will now have to pay for another hire vehicle on our next available day off from work. It definitely won't be from Orana though. Very disappointed with the whole experience.

Toll roads & tunnels. Both the Orana staff and the Tolling company staff seemed to not be able to advise me on a way of paying the tolls without going through a great deal of inconvenience. Tip: you must have an Linkt account prior to using toll roads or the time you will spend organizing payment will exceed your road trip time saving by 10-fold. I question why each vehicle doesn't simply have it's own e tolling account and tag.
That one issue aside I recommend Orana Car and Truck rentals & certainly will use their services in the future.
Honesty with patience! – Genuine assistance offered throughout the whole process at the Wolli Creek branch! The staff deserve a gold medal in customer service! Good value prices but failed miserably on customer service an support – I booked an Orana truck with a lift to do a house move. I also orderedI 5 blankets to protect the items loaded on the truck. I had additional blankets of my own. Orana supplied the truck without a remote for tail gate lift which was a pain. They also omitted to supply the blankets which I discovered when I arrived at home. to pick them up because my labourers were on the clock to load the truck. I called Orana to suggest they deliver the blankets themselves or by Uber but their only option was to remove the hire cost from my bill. This complete failure to rectify the problem caused by their oversight complicated my removal immensrly. I cannot recommend Orana.
