Ornella Caftan

Total waste of money. False claims about the material. They have a website with au extension but product ships from China. Caftan that I ordered from was marketed as cotton / linen but what I have received is polyester. Ridiculous returns policy where the customer is required to bear the cost of shipping for the return although they product is of cheap quality in contrast to what is advertised.

Absolutely trash. Zero response from customer service to initiate a return and refund. Save your money. It's a scam. Show details

I'm a returning customer as loved their caftans, however my recent purchase of 3 items are not as sizing states on their website plus fault in fabric. Unwearable. Very disappointing. Totally overpriced for what they are. Doubt they are cotton and certainly not well made. I'm sure I could do a much better job of making them. Very disappointed and certainly won't be buying anymore. Show details

This product came from China. Seems to me that this brand has not done itself any favours and will find itself without further orders.

I was very happy with my caftan until I washed it and it shrank dramatically. Very disappointing.

I just received my 2 pocket dresses which are not sized at all like the original caftans. I am a size 16-18 and these pocket dresses are way too small with probably a comfortable fit for a size 12. The advertising for them is completely misleading and after having bought 6 of the regular caftans I expected these to be sized the same. Show details

Poor customer service. 1 of 3 products ordered never arrived. When I alerted their support team, the interactions were ineffective in reaching a resolution.

Really lovely comfortable caftans that are soft and colourful. Great value for money. They are particularly cool for hot humid climates. They flow well and require minimal ironing. Creases easily fall out. Great for the beach and discreetly removing your togs! Customer service was excellent. Easy to order. It does take about 15 working days to deliver to a regional location but that is acceptable. Love them! Show details

Disappointed with the size – I ordered 5 craft and in total. 3 for myself and 2 for my sister’s birthday which was done as a seperate order and sent directly to her. look and quality was what I expected. BUT all plus sizes and I’m a comfortable size 12. I expected them to be loose but not this large. 2 of us were able to put one on. I took them to a dress maker yesterday to see if they can be altered but I’m looking at $AU60 per item to do this which is more them I paid per item so it’s not worth it. I don’t know anyone who could wear them so I’ll donate them to a charity shore. My sister is overseas so she hasn’t seen hers yet.

I haven’t contacted the company to see if I can be refunded.

I’m annoyed with myself because I thought I had done enough research before making the purshases.

Awesome Ornella Kaftans – Received my two beautiful Ornella Kaftans today. They are exactly as shown, feel fantastic and look awesome.

Happy Customer – After 21 days I received my lovely caftans, which considering I purchased on 5th December was OK. Thay are good quality & very comfortable.

Disappointing – Very disappointing. My first Ornella caftan was beautiful fabric and fit. I just received a second caftan. The fabric is much harsher and the caftan is 18cm wider. It came from China which I don't think the first one did. Be wary, I won't be ordering again from Ornella.

Cheats – Dont buy a caftan from these cheats they are not cotton just cheap crap.

Absolutely horrible experience and customer service – I created my order and somehow in doing this the wrong colour garment was selected. Some of the designs and colours are very similar. addressing the issue, purely telling me to contact support. I reiterated I wanted to make a simple change before they shipped the product. Guess what, they couldn't be bothered replying. Now the wrong items have shipped.

I strongly suggest you don't order anything from them

Horrible experience – Shipped April 23rd, today is May 30th, never received product. Yesterday I was told that it was now with USPS and gave me a tracking number. USPS says the number is fake.

another caftan would be sent 'immediately'. I still haven't received it more than a month later. My post on Facebook on Ornella site elicited a response asking for a private message giving them my details. Which I did. They said that they'd contact me by email. I've heard nothing from them. I sent a private message today, April 9, and also posted on their Facebook page. They offered another caftan, they haven't followed through. I'm less than impressed. The caftans are gorgeous but after this experience and the overly huge second caftan, I wonder if I'll bother again!
