It takes a bit of effort to use this compared to foam oven cleaner. Its good that there isn't a toxic smell but it actually doesn't work, so a waste of money and time! I left it overnight too, and the grime still didn't wipe off. Show details

during the 4 years that I’ve lived here. The oven racks were filthy but I never cared too much because most of the food were placed on oven trays anyway. But when it comes to heating up frozen pizza, they always tell you to put it directly on the oven rack.

This got me concerned and inspected the oven racks a lot closer than I would usually. The amount of god knows what that has caked onto the racks was worrisome.

I bought this product because I’ve heard raving reviews and testimonials about it on OzBargain. The product was half price at Woolworths the time I bought it so I gave it a shot.

The product comes in a box. With the contents inside, you get a very big plastic bag that you slide your oven racks in, a pair of gloves and the bottle of miracle.

Instructions are pretty simple. Slide a maximum of 2 oven racks into the bag provided and then pour 1/2 to 3/4 of the liquid content inside, seal it up (preferably with all the air out) and vigorously move the bag around so the racks are well coated. I mean, the bag is big enough to even fit 3 racks but I don’t think there’s enough liquid for all 3 if you leave 1/4 of it for later.

It tells you to leave the racks in the bag for 4 hours or overnight.

At this moment in time, 7 hours since I started, I can already see amazing results. Most of whatever was caked on the racks has magically came loose and you can see where the magic happened. It’s like brand new again.

Simply take the racks out of the bag and rinse it with a good dishwashing detergent and warm water.

The reason why you don’t empty the whole bottle is the rest of the liquid is meant for the oven interior. Again, simply pour the rest of the content in the middle of the oven and spread it with a sponge.

Again, I’m amazed at how much grease and gunk was removed. However, it didn’t do much to the glass as it looked like something I could’ve done with a simple detergent and water. Regardless, I’m still happy with the results it had shown.

Easiest and best clean of racks I've ever gotten – The biggest advantage is probably the large bags which accommodate and clean the racks. The inside of the oven was a bit more difficult. Most of the grime came off, but it took a fair bit more scrubbing than the racks. Whatever didn't come off with the first scrub got left there, as it as going to build back up again. Didn't look brand new, but it was a good clean compared to the effort put in and compared to other oven cleaning products. The fumes were also a lot less harsh than others.

The gloves in the box are cheap. Wouldn't even bother using them. i would rather bin them straight away and use proper gloves (will go through 2-3 pairs, as you will need 1 pair putting the racks into the bag, 1 pair cleaning the oven, and 1 pair to take the racks back out and clean them up).

BEST OVEN CLEANER EVER! – Best cleaner for ovens and oven racks etc. It really does work. No scrubbing, no smell. Not as good on glass but sensational on metal bits. I'm buying 15L container as it's that great. Show details

Worked a treat – Read reviews before using 50/50 good and bad, so was pleasently surprised it worked great and no need for gas mask, huge plus. Disappointed ☹️ – Left the oven racks in bag for 4 hours. Had to scrub afterwards as there were still dirty spots. The product has left corrosion marks on parts of the racks. Didn’t clean interior of oven or glass door. Had to use another product. Show details

Should be banned from sale. Ruins oven trays. Doesnt work – Interesting concept. "Cleaned" non stick surfaces off oven trays and left baked on food residue. Trays are now rusted and ruined and had to buy another oven cleaner to clean the oven. Hours of wasted time. Box is just a scam with a bottle of cumbersome liquid that is difficult to apply to surfaces and and doesn't cover everything. Plus a bag. Avoid if you value your non stick surfaces and stick with a conventional spray on oven cleaner. Show details

Wow, wow, wow! It does actually work – I normally put my racks in the dishwasher's then have to scrub afterwords. Well did not have to with this product. Gave a couple of spots a rub and I mean a couple of spots only. My racks are like brand new Show details

Complete Scam – A complete scam. I used the product to the directions on the box. The result : just wasted hours and money. Normal dish soap does this much cleaning without having to wait four hours anyway. It's frustrating to spend a lot of time cleaning up the residue of this chemical product you use to clean your oven. Moreover, the product did not clean the oven!!!. Don't waste your money or time on this product.

Actually doesn't work – OzKleen's Shower Power was a revelation, Oven Power not so. Doesn't seem to have ANY affect on glass (tried on two ovens). There is nowhere near enough product to clean the trays/side racks of a domestic oven using the bag system, let alone the rest of the oven. Might work if the trays were completely flat but they are not. Disappointing product being marketed on the reputation of another product. Show details

Useless – Followed the instructions and absolutely no change in my oven . Really annoyed because I had to scrub after waiting the 4 hours and then clean the oven with soap and water to remove any residue. Why make something that doesn’t work Show details

No power – My oven is just over 1 year old and there was no much residue on it. Despite this and six hours wait OzKleen hasn’t removed any grease. I have to try another brand. Show details

Great for end of lease cleaning – I have used this to clean my ovens and racks when moving out of a rental and it is such a life saver! It doesn't get 100% of everything off and it doesn't seem to work on glass but it does the job. I also like that it doesn't let off crazy fumes like other cleaners. If you have a particularly dirty oven I'd say it would need a few goes of this. Show details

I left it overnight and the tough grease still there and couldn't be scrub off. Then I pour the remaining in the oven and left it for about 1 hour. It couldn't really get rid of any of the grease. So basically it was rubbish. Thought I was supporting Australian businesses. Don't waste your money on it!!!!!

I couldn't believe it! – I was very sceptical this would clean my very dirty oven racks but wow they came out looking brand new! A little bit of wiping with some steel wool in the corners was all it took. Everything else just melted off! I have a self cleaning oven, so I can't comment on how well it cleans the oven walls and door. I was impressed by this product, will certainly buy again. Show details
