1 Sarah G  · Do NOT go here ! – This company does not even deserve to remain open in business . I bought my first car here, and within a week I had problems .

I got a van at a great price at Penrith that I need for my business. I hadn't bought a vehicle for 20 years and they were good to deal with. I'm so grateful they held it for nearly two weeks after I paid the deposit, while I waited for the money I needed to come through. Show details

I bought a car on finance from Ozzy Car Sales in Minto and have had nothing but problems. Less than a month after the purchase, the car started having issues. Nine months later, I've spent $3000 on repairs, yet the car is still faulty. When I told the dealership, they were completely unhelpful, simply telling me to "fix it and sell it." This shows they are an untrustworthy and sly business that doesn't care about their customers. Show details

Happy – Lee was amazing with the post sale paperwork. Offered me a coffee. Easy and happy sales people. No pressure. Car was extraordinary and great price. Trade in was excellent. A year later update: No issues with this SUV in any way. Everything working, car presents as well as the day we bought it. Its used everyday privately and for work.

Ozzy Car Sales, Penrith 10/10 – I found the car I wanted, which ticked all the boxes and contacted Ozzy Car Sales. I paid a deposit to secure the vehicle whilst I awaited my payout from my Insurer which came through surprisingly quickly. The paperwork was dealt with quickly and I was able to collect the vehicle with the minimum of fuss. Overall I was very happy with the way… Read more

Good experience with Ozzy Car Sales Penrith – I’m happy. Car was exactly as described. I flew down from Gold Coast to drive it back with no problems. It was dirty but I bought a cheap car. The owner and “Hand Over” person were terrific. I’d buy from them again. Great price range stock. Follow up from Sales person would’ve been appreciated but a good buy so I’m happy. Show details

I'm happy with the vehicle – I bought a vehicle from ozzy car sales from only photos supplied. Turned out to be a good vehicle, have had it inspected by a Toyota dealer who only found minor problems to fix. Split rubber boot and front bushings. I am pleased I have no major repair costs. Show details

I purchased a 200 Series Landcruiser from Ozzy Penrith in January after negotiating a price of $57,000 "Driveaway" with one of their sales agents, Jack. This "Driveaway" pricing was confirmed in both a text message and subsequent phone call that was captured on my previous vehicle's dash-cam. Following the purchase and collection of the vehicle,… Read more

it was evident that Ozzy's had failed to pay the Stamp Duty & transfer fees to Service NSW as part of the 'driveaway' deal leaving me nearly $2,000 out of pocket after I had to pay the fees myself.

When contacted via email, they argued "Driveaway" pricing only "included all dealer charges not government charges" and refused to reimburse these fees. Legal action was commenced in NCAT to recover the fees paid, which resulted in NCAT accepting "...undisputed evidence from [me] of an agreement to buy the vehicle at a driveaway price." and an order for Ozzy's Car Sales to pay me "the sum of $1,989.00 immediately."

As as the time of this review, I have yet to have any contact from Ozzy relating to this payment, despite emailing them asking when and how it will be paid.

If I were shopping for a new car - I'd be *extremely* careful about dealing with anyone from Ozzy after this experience.

Beyond upset dealing with Mick. Done a deal over the phone. Go to inspect the car which had a horrible exhaust rattle and broken Dipstick. And the vehicle inside and out wasn't clean as courtesy. He was happy to keep my $1000 . Also wasted my time. Will be telling people to stay away.Dishonest business Show details

Nightmare – Disrespectful, unhelpful and unreliable. That’s just the staff let alone their vehicles. I had 2 fail within 48 hours of payment with little to no help offered. An absolute nightmare to deal with

TERRIBLE – Owner is a scammer, paid a deposit of $500 for a car that was not what he promised. These reviews are pretty obvious that this guy does this a lot, said the roof lining was “mint” when it wasn’t. Had a tick in the cam, exhaust leak, rust etc do not buy from this place so many bad reviews over half of these reviews are negative… wouldn’t even… Read more

change the price because of these issues, and was denying them saying that a mechanic had looked over the car and the car had just been degreased underneath to hide leaks. Will not admit they are wrong or give any sympathy. Will be taking this further as this was not our fault and will not give deposit back, when drove 6 hours for this car.

Avoid this place if you value your time and money – I honestly don't know how this place is still legally operating. The whole business model of this place is to sell you a lemon and act like it's fine. An old guy named Kevin at Minto was extremely rude. Started smoking in front of me while we were chatting about the cars. Said there were no problems with the car, everything was fixed beforehand.… Read more

One week in, already had many problems with the battery, engine, steering. They went and "fixed it" within the same hour. (You're telling me they fixed three major components within an hour?) They do not even do a full check of your car when you have problems. When chatting with him, he denied that these were any major problems, got mad, and refused to talk to me whilst walking out the room. When deciding to buy a car (the biggest mistake), they try to get you to not read the contract and try to pressure you to signing it quickly. Try and tell me that's not sketchy. The worst car dealership in the world without a doubt. I would not even wish this place upon my worst enemy. It is a massive surprise that the ACCC or Fair trading have not investigated this place, at least to my knowledge.

3 year old car full of issues – I bought a 3 year old Hyundai Santa Fe that I saw online. The sale process was okay. The finance lady was a little rude and not very helpful. I was hit with a few unexpected loan establishment fees. But my biggest issue was the car had issues that should have been fixed before being sold. One of the doors doesn’t seal completely. I only found out… Read more

during highway driving. The tyres were bold. It cost me over a $1000 for a new set. The car needed a major wheel alignment. Another $100. The car is a 7 seater but the paperwork shows otherwise. This caused issues with my rego renewal. The car was dirty. They said that they were too busy to clean it. The windscreen had stone chips. The list goes on…. I do not recommend these guys

Avoid Avoid Avoid - Aggressive And Rude – Rang the Minto car yard to innocently inquire about a vehicle for sale asking the usual questions - mileage, what quality checks had been done on the car, the usual inquiries about buying a used car. The so-called 'salesman' was inarticulate, could not answer simple questions, could not tell me what quality checks had been done on the car, and… Read more

worse of all became highly aggressive on the phone yelling at me and making all sorts of crazy, untrue allegations after I suggested that 'roadworthiness' is part of the registration process and not considered a dealer quality check. Rang back a second time to get his name to report to management. My call was answered by the receptionist and I was talking to her when he again came on the line and started yelling and screaming making all sorts of crazy allegations about racism etc. His behaviour can only be explained as highly irregular, strange, disturbing and unbalanced. Racism was not an issue, and race was not mentioned at any stage of our phone calls. Clearly he has a chip on his shoulder that has nothing to do with unsuspecting potential buyers!! Rang the Penrith yard and spoke with a male there. Was given owner's mobile number as I wanted to report the incident. Owner did not answer several calls to his mobile throughout the afternoon, did not return my call, did not respond to several text messages. I did, however, receive a barrage of ridiculous and threatening text messages from Ozzy Carsales' 'administration', which only stopped after I contacted Police and reported them. Even the threat of writing this review did not stop the barrage of harassment. After reading dozens of scathing reviews here now I know why. What is one more scathing review when you've already received so many!! My conclusions are this. Highly unprofessional. No idea how to talk to customers in a courteous way. No idea how to share relevant information about the cars they're selling. Zero interpersonal skills. Resistant to answering even basic questions about the quality of the merchandise. Reactive, aggressive, abusive and highly dishonest. I was told repeatedly the calls were being recorded, which of course they were not. If they were this salesperson - and I use the term loosely - would not have dared speak to me the way he did. If his boss heard him he would have been fired on the spot - one would hope. Although not so sure judging by the lack of response from the owner. Advice to consumers? Avoid avoid avoid. No potential buyer deserves this level of abuse from a business that has a long history of double-dealing and dishonest behaviour. Read the reviews and buyer beware. I think I've dodged a bullet. Because reading other reviews here it's clear that many consumers have been stung by Ozzy Carsales. So glad I'm not one of them and that all I had to put up with was verbal abuse and abusive text messages. I'm one of the lucky ones.

Ripped off big time! – We purchased a Ford Ranger, 4WD just over 12 months ago. Nothing but trouble, and have had to spend a small fortune (yes, we have the insurance which is 3rd party, and absolutely useless!), one thing after another, cracked head now.
