and in his lunch break he headed over to my house and installed them. The sound is amazing. I have never had any surround system that actually did what it was meant to do on every channel and every movie. After Frank installed the speakers I asked how much do I owe you and Franks reply was "mate I needed the exercise anyway" Such a great guy and full of knowledge. Highly recomend Pacific Hi-Fi Frank and his team know their stuff and are one of the last true personalised business left to truly offer customer service. yes they were right. I now want to get another one as I'm curious on how much nicer and better 2 of these subwoofers would preform, one on each of my Bose 301 speakers. Even crap music can sound good with this setup.

Absolute Rip off – I got quoted 2 men at $100/ hr for a full day (8 Hrs ) to install and wire 3 large tv's in my new appartment. Stupid me did'nt get it in writing !! the 60in mounted but the wiring in hanging i go into main bedroom and no tv on wall. They called me to tell me they need parts to hang last TV which i accepted . 2 weeks later after not hearing anything i go see them at the shop and im told still waiting for parts so i offer to pay for what they have done, my 2nd big mistake. When i get the bill for $3982 i see that 2 guys are $125/hr and there is a 3rd guy slipped in at $175/hr not bad to hang 2 TVs. I was'nt happy but i paid it because i wanted the job finished but was told i still need to pay for 3rd TV. That was 6 weeks ago and have not had a single call. Stay away from these guys!!!! I just had the 3rd TV a 75in mounted and wired for $420 and a good job . A valuable lesson learned....

2 1/2 days to send a Auto reply – They state they are Bose speaker authorised tech agents. I asked for a price to re-solder my Bose Mini speaker Series 2, charging port. un-intelligent person or "Rhonda" might well be an inflatable employee. I looked at Product Review and the 5 * ghost writers inputs on other reviews, speaks out loudly of friends support. Not a company I would stable my horses in.

BIGGEST RIPOFF, NOT HONEST – BIGGEST RIP OFF, got quoted 100 dollars to check whats wrong with my subwoofer, turns out they had to send to bose, they kept the 100 just for checking and said they have to send to bose to fix which will cost 600 dollars, more than half the price of the unit, called bose service centre and was quoted only 180 to fix. Show details

when he said "what you think want is not what you need" we started to look at products I never thought of, different levels and price point till he demoed something which fit my needs. As I had no intent to purchase anything in the first place I was a bit uneasy spending this amount of money for 2 x REL T7 active subwoofers. I went home and hooked them up in a special way, then wow, I was blown away with the improvement. After a week of fiddling with settings and play old cds, I'm over the moon happy. Vince was spot on with what I needed and if you get what you need, money is not an issue. I highly recommend Vince and Pacific Hi-Fi. Ps: Frank is a on site tek. for your repairs, very friendly and helpful .

experience with star light ceiling as well as a multi room home sound system.

Special thanks to the installers John, Ash and Joseph. It wasn’t the easiest of installs but the guys worked out ways and got it done. All there work was done in such attention to detail and took the extra step to ensure the end result was second to none!!

Highly recommend this company for any hifi needs as you can tell the difference when speaking to people that really know their stuff!

The amount of compliments we are getting on our theatre room is unbelievable!

being in an actual Theater. The guys who installed the system Ash,Joseph and John were very thorough and precise nothing was a problem for them even though that some areas of my roof where they had to run cables was so tight but they still managed to do it. Great job this is why I will not go any where else.

Total stuff around. Would not communicate despite repeated emails and phone calls. Avoid – I bought some items off their website and paid the next day. After emailing them a few times, I eventually phoned only to be told that the items were no longer available. I then emailed and called for about a week to get a refund and got the run-around. they would send them direct from the Australian distributor. After about 5 days of emailing they would not respond to tell me they'd been sent. In the end I phoned the distributor direct and got a tracking number. So to summarise, I am still waiting for my items after 2 weeks. They have not returned my emails or calls. They delayed refunding me when I had paid promptly and in good faith. Hopeless.

searching the internet and came across Pacific Hi Fi. They had them in stock - which I was a bit dubious about as I hadn't seen them anywhere else.

I bought them though and a few days later they came and we couldn't be happier. We received notifications as to what stage the delivery was up to and they came very quickly. We also got a follow up call to check we had received them and were happy.

This is a store that puts sound and customer service at the top of their list. Couldn't recommend them enough :)

As my experience to date has been great, I decided to use the same company to help with two TV installations on the wall. In fact, there was another company I’ve previously used but I didn’t hesitate in using Pacific Hi-Fi for this work. Last week, I discussed the work required with Frank and exchanged emails with him to produce the final work order and quote. My dealings with Frank was excellent as he explained and worked with me to produce a final installation plan. Thank you Frank.

On the TV installation day, Joseph came to my house and provided exceptionally high quality of workmanship and quality customer service. Joseph worked with me to ensure all my requirements for the TV installations were met such as TV placement on the wall. Joseph answered all my questions, and showed me how to remove the TV from the wall, in the event I require warranty servicing on my new TV. Thank you Joseph.

Each point above continuously gives me good reasons to return. I am very happy with the company and its staff and will continue using Pacific Hi-Fi into the future.

Terrible customer services overcharged prices! – Horrible service, had item bought and repaired by them and after complaining about waiting for several days, I was abused by store manager. Very rude. Not only after they charged me a whopping non refundable 100 dollar inspection fee they told me wasn't worth fixing. Took them 4 weeks to tell me that! When they promised 3 to 4 working days. False promises.

Worst online shopping experience – Ordered online. They processed the payment the same date. Did not receive the order even after one week. Called them several times after which i was ensured i will get it in the next 2-3 days. Been over a week and still have not received it. no one had the courtesy of calling and updating about the status of delayed order. Sent an email to the online sales manager. No reply.
