[Name Removed] refused to do a general clean on my teeth at the Caroline Springs Pacific Smiles. I have Periodontitis and yeah I get it, my gums have receded and I've had this issue for 25 years. But I was advised the cheapest and best option for me by previous dentists was to not do a deep periodontal clean because my gums were to far gone and… Read more

it would cause the rest of my good teeth to fall out faster.

As soon as I sat down she began giving me a deep cavity examination which I didn't ask for. I asked for a examination and clean. I've been there once before. Simply do a normal examination and begin cleaning, it's not hard! Instead she's going all in poking and jabbing me.. .what the hell! Suddenly she stops, and says do you smoke, I say no, she says why are your teeth stained, I say because I drink heaps of coffee and I haven't come in for a clean for over 1 year. She says, come have a look at this... and points towards an xray I did over 1 year ago. The entire time I had with her she was acting like an entitled brat with a smart butt tone. She states she won't clean my teeth unless I do an deep clean which I explained to her that I already have been advised by previous dentists and I'm not going that route of doing a deep clean because it'll be more expensive, I don't want a deep clean, I don't want to be paying a lot of money for my teeth, I'll simply rip them out and add acrylic teeth to the upper denture which I have... What can't you understand, I'm paying you to clean my teeth???? what's so difficult? Secondly from the moment I met her she was frustrated because I wasn't paying attention to her while I was talking to my daughter. Relax, let me speak to my daughter and explain what's going on and I'll attend to the appointment. I was early, no need to be p*ssed about me not paying attention to you. I'm now starting to think if I dated a relative of hers... Hmmmm...

Superiority Syndrome big time

I might add my first appointment with them last year was a general clean, can't remember the dental surgeon but she was young and fast, quick in and out and I could still see the stains on my teeth . She didn't do a good job at all. Lastly, I'll tell you what I'm willing to undertake when it comes to procedures.

I will be taking this further with AHPRA and then when you're sitting in front of the board you can explain your behaviour.

Overcharged for first visit when I have major dental with BuPa – My friend had no gap dental checkup and X-ray done at I point cook pacific smiles. He had basic cover while I have major dental from BUPA extras. Based on his feedback I did not check at reception if there will be a gap payment and just went inside to get the checkup done. Once completed I was asked to pay $170.50 for limited examination & x-rays.… Read more

Ridiculous misleading information on their website where they mention no gap for checkup, cleaning, x-rays. Just got ripped off by $170 hole in my pocket. I asked for a report of my issue and nothing was given.

I attended this clinic for a check-up and clean on Wednesday 10 December. At the time, I was under the impression that the visit would be covered by my private health insurance (HBF). Unfortunately, I later discovered that HBF does not waive waiting periods, even when both hospital and extras cover are taken out. As a result, I was charged $360,… Read more

which is unaffordable for me. While the receptionist initially mentioned that a partial refund might be possible if insurance did not reimburse the cost, I was disappointed that no meaningful solution or discount was ultimately offered.

I also asked whether the OPG cost could be reduced through Medicare, but this did not lead to any assistance. Given the lack of flexibility and financial consideration, the experience left me feeling unsupported despite my genuine efforts to resolve the issue.

The clinical care itself was acceptable, but clearer communication around costs and greater compassion in handling financial hardship would significantly improve the patient experience.

Amazing Service at Pacific Smiles Corrimal I recently went to Pacific Smiles Corrimal for in-chair teeth whitening, and I couldn’t be happier with how it all went. From the moment I walked in, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, making me feel comfortable right away. They really went above and beyond to make sure my experience was great.… Read more

The whitening procedure itself was done with so much care, and I could tell the team knew exactly what they were doing. They explained everything step by step, which made me feel relaxed and confident about the whole process. What really stood out was how much they cared about my comfort, always checking in and making sure I was okay.

The results were amazing—my smile has never looked better! I left feeling so happy with how everything turned out. The staff’s attention to detail and their incredible service truly made my visit memorable. If you’re thinking of getting teeth whitening or any dental work done, I’d definitely recommend Pacific Smiles Corrimal. Their dedication to going the extra mile is something you don’t see every day. Thanks to the team for such an awesome experience!

I wish to express my deep concern for the malpractice I experienced under [Name Removed]’s care at Preston, and this Dr also practices at Epping. I pray no one else trusts their smile with this Dr. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST

Pacific Smiles Dental (Erina Fair) I went yesterday for a dental cleaning with this dentist (Dr Sirinit, Wijaithum) and I have never been treated so poorly. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. We’ve been going to Pacific Smiles for about a year as a family and have seen 4 or 5 different dentists in that time. The turnover is substantial, and it's evident in the level of care. Each visit felt rushed, and the staff were often rude or dismissive. There’s a real lack of consistency and professionalism. There are so many better dental practices out there that actually value their patients, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

As a new patient of this clinic I was extremely disappointed in the care and the treatment I received. I explained I was anxious about the situation. They did not care the nurse didn’t even. Speak to me no compassion empathy or bedside manner. The dentist was impatient and frustrated and not understanding or sympathetic at all. With a result of no treatment still was given a hefty bill on the way out. Would not recommend them at all.

My two experiences with Pacific Smiles Dental practices have been nothing short of nightmarish. A locum dentist removed the nerve from a perfectly healthy back molar tooth because she could not decide which tooth was causing pain. She had taken x-rays but was inexperienced in reading them. A senior male dentist did not seal the base of a crown… Read more

that he installed. A number of years later I was in horrific pain because the tooth under the crown had decayed. I sought help from a smaller dental practice who revealed the shoddy work of the Pacific Smiles dentist. I recommend that you go to a small dental practice operated by a small number of dentists. Pacific Smiles Dental Centres are operated as a profit-making business. It is profit first and patient care way down the line.

The employee with the grey bob at the front counter initially booked my appointment but failed to confirm my phone number. I was very close to walking out. I felt unwelcome and disrespected, and seriously considered informing my local Muslim community that Pacific Smiles Strathpine may not be a safe or inclusive space for us.

the dentist and dental assistant were kind, professional, and reassuring. They told me that she can be like that with everyone, but it still raises the question: why is someone with such a dismissive attitude representing the business at the front desk?

I booked an appointment online for a Saturday 11:30 because I work 5 days. I received a phone call the next day asking me to change it because they wanted to keep Saturday free for emergencies. I've been going to this practice for a very long time but I certainly won't be going back.

Service is good only to charge money and give misleading information – I took my child there for her brace options. The dentist checked her, did xray and forced us to get the yeeth cleaned despite it was not required. Good Customer Service + Good Hygiene – This is my first time going to a dentist as I had a huge fear of it, however the doctors were really supportive, and took me in step by step in what they were going to do and how it would feel like, which honestly helped me out a lot. Very professional and caring – I had a wisdom tooth taken out today that was a difficult one. It was hollow inside because of extensive decay. I knew the tooth would break and it would be difficult. I want to thank Dr Nasir for being patient with me and taking such good care of me.

Horrible – Horrible experience - went in for 'tooth pain' and a massive chip in my upper wisdom tooth causing me not to be able to drink room temperature water, left with the same problems and was charged 300 bucks with insurance. Got a call from reception same morning before and was told dentist 'doesn't do anything with wisdom teeth as he has a "bad back" . Wasn't told cost of anything before it was done. Drove 45min each way, waste of time and money.
