inquiries, and when I did, the information provided was often unclear. This lack of transparency added unnecessary stress to an already hectic moving process.

On moving day, the team arrived late, which set the tone for a disorganized experience. Although they eventually got to work, it felt rushed and uncoordinated and in truth aggressive towards my family. I understand its a difficult job, but the guys seemed like they were under the influence if I am honest

My belongings were not handled with the care I expected, resulting in allot of damages. While I understand that moving can be chaotic, a bit more attention to detail would have gone a long way. Additionally, the final bill was surprisingly higher than the initial estimate, with several unexpected charges that were not clearly explained beforehand. This left me feeling frustrated and misled about the overall cost of the service.

II am not one to write reviews, but whilst Palmers Relocations may have some positive reviews, my experience was far from satisfactory. I would recommend looking into other moving companies as they fell well short of what I desired.

money was not the main factor in our decision making.

We had Palmers Relocations, Grace Removlas and Kent Relocations all come over to inspect our contents and packing requirements.

We chose Palmers based on the consultant who seemed genuine and honest. I still think he had good intentions but the company let him down.

On the day of the move they sent 3 x people, 2 x small trucks and only one of them seemed competent at all. What proceeded was many damages to irreplaceable items. So much so after the first trucks delivered at 2pm I said not to bother collecting the remaining items and that I would find a new company.

When I spoke to management I was polite and advised only half the work had been done so I should be compensated / refunded the other half of the move costs. They bluntly refused despite agreeing they were short staffed as well as several other excuses.

In the end I counted my losses, used Grace Removals who came to my rescue the following day and moved on from their terrible service and attitude. I hope this survey does the same for someone else…..

Absolutely disgusting after sales service. On pick up of our items, they were very rough with our fridge and we anticipated damage. old fridge was damaged. We also had other furniture like beds, vases and other items damaged when opened. Everything was damaged from the way it was packed....do you not think the company should be liable for this?? No level of duty of care. Apparently you have to get multiple types of insurance to cover a variety of stages within your process. We did pay for insurance but obviously this was not included and they did not want to accept any duty of care on packing our items. They have been of no help, to the point where they don't even reply to your emails as they have got your money and don't care now. I am appalled that this type of business can carry on treating customers so poorly, it is clear from the other reviews and ratings. Be warned, stay clear of Palmers.

They are partners with PSS removals and one of the worst moving agents, I have come across. They lost one of my box and instead left a box which belongs to someone one else. Failed to take any responsibility and just ignored my request to return my box. Their workers were least interested in doing any work especially assembly and I had to push to get any work done. Please avoid these useless relocation agents at all costs.

issue more than two weeks ago, the Palmers team seem unwilling or unable to commit to a delivery date or answer our questions. Once payment has been received, any sense of urgency seems to disappear - save yourselves the frustration and look elsewhere.

experiences, this was easily the worst.

After the move was booked, I had some very basic questions such as the mode of transport, how long the job would take on the day, what type of truck was going to be used etc. I was basically told by their operations team that it wasn't a concern of mine as long as it arrived on time and everything would be OK. It mad me feel like I was a hinderance rather than a customer.

On the day the guys turned up, smoked allot of cigarettes and in between they loaded the items. I asked them to take care of one or two items but they basically shrugged me off and made me feel like I was bothering them. I even helped with several items and what.

One delivery the team were better than at pickup, but there was allot of damages. I called the office who told me they had taken note and would be in contact with me for insurance purposes. They then related back to an report done by the guys at pickup which I didn't sign stating things were that way. I complained to my employer about this and hopefully through that and this review they will not be doing this to too many people in the future. Palmers are not professional and I would never recommend or use again.

Palmers are a crap company like grace removals, they lie to get your money – Morons. I organised a 3 x 3 container so my personal possessions were not relocated from a bigger container to a smaller one where the damage happens. Beautiful work! – We trusted Palmers Relocations to move our family from Melbourne to Perth and it was flawless! The movers arrives on time and happy to be there, were very quick and professional. Delays, excuses, failed promises and lack of integrity-steer clear – We trusted Palmers with our final ADF move and what a mistake that was. We chose a groupage move as we don’t own a lots of things. Last company I’d ever use – Was told that although they were 30% too expensive, I was on a “race to the bottom “ rather than, a professional response. Oh and that as I had a glass of wine, I was intoxicated. Sorry that on a late afternoon in my own home I can’t have a drink? No apology and no resolution. Moving to Adelaide – Have used Palmers Relocations both to relocate colleagues to and from Australia/overseas and my family from Sydney to Adelaide. Last week we had the magnificent packing Team of Hemy and Sammy and they were fabulous. Would highly recommend. Fast gentle and efficient.

Very satisfied with Palmer Relocations – I checked with several international moving agencies when planning my move back to the USA from Australia. Palmers were the second lowest cost but by far the most responsive. They picked up my stuff at short notice and got it straight on a ship. Haylie and Dimitri were excellent to work with thru the process and would definitely use them again.

Wish I never engaged the service – Relocation from Melbourne to Townsville was organised. closed. My items are still stuck in melbourne and Palmers will not release my goods without half the payment despite breaching estimated time frames. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT TERMS AND CONDITIONS OFFERS NO GUARANTEE HENCE THEY CAN TAKE AS LONG AS THEY LIKE WITH YOUR DELIVERY.

4 years later and the packaging was perfect – We used Palmers to relocate our 4 bed house from North Beach in Perth to Sligo in Ireland in mid 2019. Due to COVID and unexpected personal circumstances our belongings ended up going into storage for 4 years. Late 2023 we opened the boxes eventually and everything is as good as the day your team OK packed it. The team did a wonderful job on the day. Thank you very much again and all the best.

To receive just the worst treatment possible: - They used the original form used to dispatch my items from the UK to Australia in 2020 despite being aware that items have been substrates and returned. They didn't even bother with doing a cargo control to dispatch them back in 2023. - I requested to be delivered on January 2023 only to be received at the end of August. That's 8 months of wait in total, a huge time scale that only worked for the company's convenience, not mine. - Despite them being aware that a divorce has taken place and that my ex-partner took out and returned items that used the original shipping levels of 2020. THEY DIDN'T EVEN CHECK WHAT WAS SENT, and clearly, more than 10 of my boxes were lost due to my inconvenience and the convenience of subtracting them on the premises or during transport. As they were aware, any insurance did not cover them. - I was notified it would take up to a month to clear customs, and as I had just made the decision to go on my deserved summer holidays, of course, clearing happened the day I set off. From there, it was all pressure for time and fit their company needs, not my customer requirements. - I was given one only day for re-delivery as if I had to adapt to them instead of them for the service I had pre-paid. - I was threatened with having to pay for storage from the day of arrival in the UK or for setting an alternative day if I did not accept the only option they offered me. One day, I was at a work event. - I was also told I would have to pay extra if the van couldn't provide parking on the private premises of a local business I have no access to as they deny parking 150 mts away from my home. - They were aware boxes were missing, but they never told me upfront. Instead, they brought all into the house without giving me a clearing list to cross-check and then told me at the end they had lost seven boxes. - They also imposed other costs, but when I asked for the paperwork that justified it, they didn't have it, and I am still waiting for them to supply it. - They were unwilling to insure me and, of course. - However, they didn't even bother to cross-chack and create a new itemised list of what left their warehouse. They took no responsibility for that cross-checking of the cargo sent and dismissed any support or compensation. I am still waiting, three months later, to raise my complaint with the management team. - Of course, I didn't miss any linen, but all my high-designer clothes, best winter jackets and some vintage pieces of furniture and electrical equipment are now gone. And no one is taking responsibility for it.

This experience is beyond any imaginable level of service when more than $10000 has been spent with them for service that clearly worked in their favour. As if once they have your things, they impose themselves instead of providing the service I paid for. I am still today waiting for them to even acknowledge my complaint or their shortcomings despite the huge amount of money I spent with them. So I hope this is read with attention by potential customers and the management team of this company.

Moving is one of the most stressful things, more so when it is intercontinental and clearly, this company does care very little about the impact their lack of service has on other people’s lives.

I will raise my case with the consumer authorities with the intention of avoiding any future customer having to go through similar experiences and this industry abusing their power once in possession of their valued possessions.
