a little beauty – Past microwaves have come and gone. this one goes on and on. While small, it has been big enough for anything I have needed to cook or warm up, it is a faithfuls servant. very easy to clean, sits in a corner and is big enough to store this on. Show details · 1
Affordable, works well – Decided to replace my old panasonic microwave with this new one and don't regret it at all. Haven't had a performance issue so far. The only issue is it being noisier than my last one, but it's not that much noisier. It also came at a very affordable price of $177 dollars compared to the other choices which were 200 plus. This product is good – This product is good but it is really loud. It is a good size and fits in well. It being compact is good for small kitchens and kitchens that need lots of utensils. The pricing is good it is affordable which is useful if you are in need of a microwave that is affordable and easy to use. Show details

Terrible product, even worse customer service – Average microwave from time of purchase. Unsteady turntable that always needed attention. After 15 months , flames shot out of inner vent while melting chocolate. Was told by customer service that this happened because chocolate was placed on high for 30 seconds instead of using the medium setting. They were not prepared to state in writing that… Read more
using the incorrect power setting for 30 seconds would cause the product to catch fire yet continued to tell us verbally that this was the reason we were not entitled to repair or replacement of the product. Will never buy anything from panasonic again.
Piece of crap - Spark when in Use – Owned for over 2 years before it started to spark up food when in operation. No metallic or flammable product inside, it simply sparked up and ignited food before emitting a burnt odor. Contacted Panasonic who were less than helpful and couldn't care less. Stay away from this rubbish product. Never buy Panasonic again. Show details
Functional and worth it for the price – It was one of the relatively cheaper microwaves and my housemates and i didnt need a very big one so we found that 25L was just nice. It can adequately fit all our food containers and has not broken down on us yet. Probably because of its wattage, it doesnt necessarily heat up food instantly, i usually need to put my food in for a period of time first. Show details

Has just started making weird noises – Has been a great microwave, purchased in October 2015 and has just started making weird static type noises even when not being used (so have had to unplug from power source). Not overly happy that it hasn’t survived 5years as it is something that is barely used in our household. Show details · 3
Rusted – Started to Rust after 3.5 years. The paint on the inside door peeled off. Probably from cleaning but still would expect better quality. Given the price its OK but don't expect it to last forever. Which is sad now its just another piece of landfill. Show details
Perfect One...!!!! From Panasonic :) – We bought this one our first one about 4 yrs now and its still working just like new one... everyday we make our rice in 20 min and its going so well. In rices only we have tried many brands and style like in basmati only may have tried 3 or more types all with great tastes as it should, to make good decisions on selections ;) :) wow 5 Star on this we ate happy with this purchase Show details · 1
Works perfect – Had this microwave for 3 years, never had any issue. pull door handle is the best option. I would recommend to anyone. bought from The good guys with 3 year warranty, but didn't need to use the warranty. only thing I didn't like was the length of the power cable, it's bit short. Handy Size Good Microwave – Smaller sized microwave from Panasonic. Its a perfect size for us and looks good too. Its only 800 watts so I found I have had to adjust mt expectations about cooking times but I am used to it now. Being a Panasonic it is super reliable and has already earned its cheapish purchase price in usability. Good deal. Show details
its alright – i bought this form harvey norman on sale, it is really good deal. the product is easy to use, low sonud and enought space inside. however it is not very easy to press set up the time. overall it is good item easy to use and clean and i am pretty happy about it . Show details
It is just as normal Microwave – It is basically okay as it is only used for re-heating. one minor issue is sometimes the 30s and 1mins buttons are not working, you have to select the power first and go to the time buttons.....very strange.....But my previous Samsung model had this issue too.....Don't why, it is still manageable to me... Good Microwave – Had this 1.5 years ago from The Good Guys and very happy with it. I use it daily for all my reheating needs. Perfect size for two and very easy to use. It heats quickly and is very easy to clean. Overall, I think it's a great microwave for the price. Show details
Great bang for buck microwave – We use the microwave mainly just to reheat food and drinks. I can't comment on how well the microwave cooks and the various settings. We bought the microwave as there was a good discount on with AMEX benefits, and it has been working very well for us (9 months). The heating power is great, and the microwave is easy to use. It is not very loud when in use. Only negative is that the light stays on if you leave the door open. Show details
Took it back after 2 days – Mine was a similar model but the code numbers were a little different from another reviewer. Bought this at Bing Lee and from the first use, it made an horrendous noise while heating. The glass plate kept slipping off and it would made a grinding noise. Also, the 30 second button would work intermittently. When you opened the door you nearly… Read more
pulled the microwave onto the floor as it had no stability under the feet. I took it back to the store but they were reluctant to accept the problems. Finally got a resolution and exchanged it for a Samsung model which is fantastic. Even down to the amount of plastic stuck onto the unit to protect it, it just seemed “less cheap”. Was going to go with this one in the first place but the sales lady steered me toward the Panasonic. Maybe they just wanted to get rid of them.
Value for Money – This is a good value for money microwave oven. I reluctantly got rid of a very old one which still worked but I was concerned about it's safety. I had gone through two very dodgy microwave ovens before getting this little gem from Myer. It is easy to use and works consistently well. There are variable heat settings, High through to Defrost, and… Read more
preprogrammed cooking functions. The high powered watts ensures minimal cooking and reheating time. The only downside is the clock gains time, however this does not affect the user of the microwave oven.
Peeling ceiling – Just after 2.5 years inside ceiling starts peeling and drops on food. disappointed for such a short usage . product was working perfectly until this happened. Bought at jb hi if probably will buy some other brand next time. There are few other similar reviews for this product in this site. Show details
Good – It heats up really quick which is good. Built wise its nice and very eye appealing which is a plus! It's not too loud which is good but the beep at the end is absolutely horrible! I wish you could choose how loud and how long the beep stays for. Show details
My Budget Microwave – Been using for a few years now.. Bought it for under$110 . The cooking results are ok.. You need to heat the refrigerated food for full 2 minutes to get it heated. Settings are easy and not rocket science. It can be fairly loud while in use. Not recommenced if you have a newborn or baby unless you live in a large house. Its sturdy . Getting corroded or kind of rusted on the roof in the long run. Maybe time to replace a new one! Show details
Pretty good! – Big enough size for me and it heats up and cooks fairly quickly compared to my old microwave. I like the sleek design and door handle makes it easy to open. Buttons look a day to learn but easy to set the time now. I would recommend this to people! Show details
Decent microwave, does it's job – We use the microwave mainly for making hot chocolates and sterelising baby equipment. It works well for this purpose. Fairly quiet; not heavy, so easy to move to clean the bench. Operation is straight forward. It's only 800w, so I don't expect it to heat things instantly. I didn't want to spend a lot on an appliances that doesn't get a lot of use and am happy with this microwave. Show details

Peeling Interior – I'm surprised that this has happened to a Panasonic product. They usually have a very good reputation for electrical goods, but after 3 years our microwave has been rendered unusable because the roof of the interior has rusted (as reported by other users) and the lining is peeling away and dropping on to whatever is below, and that's usually food!… Read more
About 25% of the roof has peeled away, and the rest is starting to bubble so it won't be long before it's all rust. Also there's some weird reaction happening in the area under the turntable - it's turning white. This can be wiped away but after 12 hours it's back. The interior was cleaned regularly with soapy water only so there's no reaction from a chemical cleaner going on. The machine worked fine, just fell apart. We've just spent $75 on a generic brand replacement from KMart after reading favourable reviews. If this one goes after a few years I won't be as concerned.
A great microwave – At first a little difficult to drive, but now all is very good. It does what it says it will do, and the manual is easy to read and understand. It is quiet while running, and the alarm is not to loud when it finishes cooking. I would highly recommend this one. Show details
Small and Sturdy – The microwave is weaker than the last few microwaves that I have had. I need to microwave food for a longer period of time. However, this is expected given the price of the microwave. It is also nice & small and doesn't take up too much space in the kitchen, and is very simple and easy to use. I haven't seen many problems in this microwave. Show details
Worst microwave ever. Barely been used and coating peeling inside – This is by far the worst microwave I've ever used. Its around a year old and barely been used but already has terrible peeling and rust setting inside. After reading other Panasonic reviews with same problem and warranty experiences I'm certain Panasonic will not honour the warranty but I'll still give it a go. Else will contact ACCC or maybe just bin this thing. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Show details
Good small size microwave – Good for families who doesn't need big sized microwaves or extra features. Good enough power for day to day use. Mine has slight uneven legs but it seems like all of them do. No backlights on the buttons so sometimes they're hard to read. Other than that great microwave for the price. Show details
So far so good – My old microwave bought from Kmart, it was too poor and take long time to heat food. So I decide to buy this one. It takes less time, and easy to use. Not hard to clean. I can not see anything I dislike at the moment. Mainly used to heat milk and coffee. Show details
Good but not superb – Cooking results is good and very quick. Features and settings with auto program make easy to used safe time to cook. The bad thing is very noise and loud sound while on. design not the best. When i Open and close the door microwave was not smoothly close the microwave make big noise event you closed slowly. Very good – I bought this product from Masters Northland, Victoria about 1.5 years ago. Very durable product; simple design and very easy to use. However, this compartment is not too big to fit in my bowl; however reasonable for standard portion and medium bowls. This product also doesn't heat up the product very quickly; normally will have to use at least 3-4 minutes to have the food heated properly. Anyway, the product is durable and good Show details
Good Budget Model – Bought this around 7 months ago from Harvey Norman, and it's still functioning as well as when first bought. Good budget model microwave, that is easy to operate, neat size, easy to use with a child lock, in addition with a very nice classic design. Best used for simple meals. Show details
Seriously Flawed – Bought 1 month ago. We do not use it for serious cooking but it does all the things we want it to do - similar to our previous 8 year old Microwave. The only problem is the turntable dismounts very easily. This is particularly serious when the very hot food container and hot turntable assembly land up together in your (gloved) hands and, nearly on… Read more
the floor. Resetting the hot turntable ready for an immediate second cook is extremely hard to manage (with gloves) and dangerous. Panasonic has failed to respond to an email reporting this and asking for advice to overcome this problem. This problem drastically lowers our score.
Since writing this report I have received a response from Panasonic advising that if I think there… Read more
Nice and simple except the reheat function – For the life of me, I can't get the reheat function right. When reheating in my previous microwave, I literally only had to hit 'reheat' and the results were always perfect. This one requires 3 or 4 clicks before I can get it to start ... not intuitive. That aside, it's big enough for my small needs and does what it's meant to without unnecessary… Read more
bells and whistles. It does have functions I haven't explored yet but I only need it for simple purposes.
Good branded product for value – I bought this microvawe from panasonic about a month ago and is value for money at $139 ( price I bought it at from david jones). The machine works great and is suitable to all our needs. there is a child lock and non noisy and non irritating alarm. The door is sometimes not very easy to open but I beleive thats how MWs are designed. Its medium sized and doesnt occupy too much space. Overall, suits my need. Show details
A cheap microwave that parades its cheapness at every turn – This dismal model from Panasonic does indeed carry out the fundamental function of bombarding food with microwave radiation in order to heat it. That's about it. It is pretty obvious that this was designed by Team-Z at Panasonic, people trapped in a basement somewhere. Team Z never worked out how to make the glass turntable in this model… Read more
actually work with the turning mechanism. The turntable is forever coming askew or unstuck. Indeed, the turntable seems to be designed so that the least action, such as actually removing food from the turntable, renders it useless.
As a minor, but characteristic, indication of how bad this microwave is, is the microwave's clock. Why a microwave needs a clock is beyond me, but there you go. Team- Z Panasonic has reached deep, deep, into the cheapest possible clock-chip it could get. After just a single month, this idiot product's clock is running a full ten minutes behind. You have to go back to the Middle Ages to find a timepiece so bad.
Team- Z Panasonic has spared every expense to produce a piece of garbage. I thoroughly recommend it as a wedding gift for people you despise.
