How do I remove the light covers for the led interior lights
Hello Support, I'll be moving apartment soon, the only way I can get my fridge out is to take the swinging door off. How can I do this properly?
Thanks
Seems odd, you got in in there with the door on?
No, I didn't, the people delivering it did it all, I wasn't there for it. I'll work it out, just want to know if there's some sort of procedure to do it properly, or without causing damage.
HI GrotGuts, Panasonic recommends that you arrange a technician to remove & refit.
It is quite straight forward. In case anyone else who wants or needs to take the swinging door off this fridge. 1. Pop the plastic cover off the top hinge 2. Disconnect, by separating the electrical wires from the fridge body to door. 3. Spray a tiny touch of WD-40 on the screws. 4. Remove the deep freezer compartment. 5. Spray a tiny touch of WD-40 on the screws connecting the door to the body underneath the door. 6. Remove the bottom screws first. Use plyers, or some grip clamp to loosen the screws, a phillips head won't loosen the screws. This is difficult for the bottom screws, but eventually they'll loosen. When the screws are loose, use a phillips head to remove the screws. 7. Do the same for the top screws outlined in point 6, this is easier than 6. Make sure the door doesn't fall.

Hi I have a Panasonic fridge/freezer model No.NR-BY552XSAU and I am wanting to make into a beer fridge with a beer tap on the door and a gas line in on the right side of the fridge so my question is where is all the wiring etc in the door and is there anything I should be avoiding on the side when drilling a hole.

Thanks for getting back to me. My husband fixed the problem with more force. Something had slipped within the ice lock tray area, ok now.
I have checked all the contents, cleaned all interior of my Panasonic, but my fridge still has an awful stink! (I'd describe it as rotten meat smell) Is there a concealed drip tray I can remove to clean?

I have a failed single bulb in one of the internal light panels Is it possible to replace a single bulb or does the complete light panel have to be replaced.
Without taking it apart I would say that they are not globes but LED's which would mean unsoldering the diode to replace. I am surprised the whole of the side light unit isnt out as these diodes are wired in series ,so one out all out. It should be possible to do this as if it was put together it can be taken apart. I would certainly have a go, if you dont feel confident you could disconnect the panel and take it to an electrician who could do it for you. Hope this helps.
Hi Wayne, For a service a call please call 132600 and the customer service team will be able help.

I have the same issue. The fridge is not cold enough and some if the led light are out.
Where can I find the coils on a Panasonic Econavi Inverter fridge/freezer as it is not freezing but fridge okay
Hi Zakissa, Its best you call our customer service team on 132600.
Thanks
I cant seem to get the fridge cold enough. Freezer is fine . Also theres 2 lights inside the fridge one keeps flashing green the other is steady blue color. what does this mean? Your online manual is very vague' BTW the fridge is very well ventilated all round as its in a space made for a 2 door fridge. Regards Mick G
Not sure about the flashing lights but would assume something is wrong. I would try moving the temperature slider back and forth a few times. Also check the fridge is level. The basket in the fridge drops/sticks to either side when its pulled out. This can be corrected by putting a spacer in the runners either side. New ones in the shops are exactly the same. Good luck - Caveat Emptor.
Thanks for that, but I still need to find out what that flashing light is there for. There's absolutely no reference to the lights in the manual.
Hi Mick, Give our customer service team a call on 132600 and they will assist you.

Our freezer drawer is broken. Pain to open freezer as drawer drops when fully open. Can we purchase replacement drawer? Far cheaper then replacing whole fridge. Pls advise. Thanks
The fridge door is dropping causing it to rub on the freezer door. It would appear that the top door pin that sits in the top hinge has worn and needs replacement. Any suggestions?
Hi Shane, please contact Panasonic customer service on 132600 for further assistance.
I have installed a fridge alarm that tells me me when the fridge gets above a certain temperature. The alarm has been sounding an average of twice a day for the past week when the fridge get above 9 degrees, this is despite the fridge not being opened for a couple of hours, and even in the middle of the night when it hasn't been opened for 6 hours. What part is likely to be at fault? Model # NR-BY552XSAU
I'd use a second thermometer of some sort first to make sure yours isn't the issue. Cheaper to check that than to have the fridge repaired.
Hi Kevin, different areas of the fridge will measure different temperatures. So part of it will depend on where the sensor is. Also as mentioned what sensor you are using and if it has been calibrated. external link
Hi, I have tried the sensor in different parts with similar results, besides that a fair indication is my beer is not as cold as in the old Westinghouse outside and the milk goes off far too quickly. I am confident that the thermometer is displaying the correct temperature, 9 degrees is way above what a fridge should run at any time, especially if the door hasn't been opened for some time. If you cannot answer my original question just say so.
Hi Kevin, if you believe there is a fault with the unit please contact our customer service team on 132600 who can arrange for a technician to attend, if they found no fault with the unit you would be charged for a service call which is what our questions above are trying to avoid for you.
We are experiencing a similar issue where the fridge is going completely warm
I m having the same issue.. Fridge is warm
Have thrown the fridge in the dump, that particular model is just a lemon, sales people who have sold these agree
Is there any way to adjust the door or freezer drawer as they are rubbing?
Try pulling the freezer drawer right out and sitting it in the tracks. I have a feeling you might have sat it on top of the tracks. It's easy to do and not realise.
Hi Sue, we would also recommend making sure the feet are level on the bottom of the fridge.
Can you buy parts for the freezer draw? One of the wheels that slides on to the hinge keeps falling off, resulting in the freezer not closing properly.
Hi Bronwyn, spare parts can be purchased from one of the following distributors. external link
Thanks very much.
