I don't recommend this product. Paying the price for it that I paid (not cheap) I expected a lot more than what I actually got. minutes to dry it from towel dry to actually dry... I got so sick of waiting for it to all dry and left the ends damp. The accessories BURN. They got SO HOT they actually burn your hands. I used one and had to remove it with a cloth and it stayed hot for too long before it could be touched. I think the only thing "Eco Friendly" about this product is the no frills box that it comes in.

Excellent hair dryer – There is a good reason why professional hair dressers use this brand of hair dryer. This is a class above the basic hair dryers in most shops. Okay – This is suppose to be the "ferrari of hairdryers" however it hasn't impressed. Though yes it dries hair, in the end I've used cheaper hairdryers that have resulted in similar outcomes. Overall value for money is okay. It also feels a bit heavy after a while.

Toatally disappointed – I am pretty disappointed at this purchase. My hair is no where close to looking like it has been style. Hair is still so frizzy. Brilliant Hairdryer - Non-Stop – It so rare these days to get an electrical product that you don't constantly have to replace every couple of years. This hairdryer is a total workhorse, never misses a beat. I think I've had it for about 4 or 5 years now, which occurred to me the other day because I've basically replaced every other product I owned at the time I bought it at least once. Would recommend in a second.

Fantastic Hair Dryer – I was forever a person to buy a cheap hair dryer and change it ever 12 months because it either blew up or stopped working. This was my first "more expensive"purchase on a Hair Dryer. I have no complaints what so ever. This Parlux 3800 was purchased in the Mid Year/ EOFY Stock take Sales. It is a fantastic durable hair dryer, hair dries much faster and is softer and shinier.

Great hair dryer! Better than any that I have used in the past – Parlux dryer is very strong and does its job really well. It has 2 different settings & a button that cools down the air blowing out of the dryer. The dryer is slightly heavier than cheaper dryers but the functionality is much better. May be a little heavy for smaller people.

Great Hair dryer – Purchased from ebay with very good deal. It has been great for the time we have been using it. Like its features e.g Can do hot air or cool air, hot air different settings, fair weight not too light but not heavy either. Long cord is awesome which is very helpful. The ferrari of hairdryers - 5 years on – Still working perfectly after 5 years, powerful, dries quickly. I actually dread using other hair dryers when I'm on holiday as nothing compares to the Parlux. It is a worthy investment!

The best hair dryer I've ever owned – I've owned a few different hair dryers but this one, although now discontinued which is a shame, has been the best one I've ever owned. The drying capacity is fantastic, it has different heat and speed settings with a cool function which is great for setting a style eg root lift, curl etc. I have had this same hair dryer for at least 6 years and it's still going strong. It was recommended by my hair stylist and I'm forever grateful.

and silky. It's not super light but not too heavy either so my arms don't tire quickly from holding it. It looks and feels like a well made appliance and the motor is quite powerful. I like the ridges on the side which prevent it from sliding off the bench. It also has a long cord which I find very handy. My model is silver and I like the coIour. I definitely recommend this product and will definitely buy Parlux again.

It is much lighter than the Big Shot. I was recommended this hair dryer but a professional hairdresser. I took their advice and have never been happier. My hair is smoother, healthier with less split ends and I have 45-50 minutes back into my beauty routine. Thumbs up all round!!

Buyer's remorse – I bought this hairdryer after reading the reviews on this site. I chose to buy it from Ry.com.au and found it for $150. After first use I found it to be quite heavy and I have no idea how the controls work and my hair is still wet. I feel like I should have just replaced my $30 Remington and I'd be better off. It must work well for hairdressers because they're standing behind your head and have total control of your hair. I am so sad.

I was surprised when it didn't slip from the table where I placed it when I hit the cord with my elbow (yes, this would happen quite often to me, I'm clumsey like that) so I looked closer and noticed 3 rubber lines on the side, brilliant!

Parlux is perrrrfect – Worth the money. Worth every cent. I've had this for 3 years now and it's as strong as ever. The motor is powerful. The sales lady said that there are actually parts in the hairdryer that are used in a jet. I can have my hair dry in about 10 minutes flat. It's pink and I love it!!

instructions are very basic and don't actually tell you what the two switches control, but after playing with it a bit I've figured it out. It leaves my hair feeling softer and smoother than my last hair dryer (but it was 10 years old when it blew up, so I'll forgive it).

on the fence about buying one, and can get to a physical store or salon where they're sold, ask for a demonstration on your hair and some tips. Good temperature and intensity controls. Quick, smooth blow dry. Cools down quickly. Very expensive. No option to extend the warranty longer thasn one year.
