positive. Mackay PatioWorld were able to make changes to the original design I submitted easily with zero fuss. The time frame from date of the quote being accepted to final compliance sign off was surprisingly quick given the labor challenges most companies are experiencing at the moment. This leads me to believe they must be also a good company to work for being able to retain their workers/contractors. I had the opportunity to speak with the installers during the build. They were also friendly and professional with advice and turned out a great finished product. John, the owner, visited the jobsite to oversee that everything was going to schedule and check on the standard as well as my satisfaction with the progress.

Be careful because they use subcontractors – Hi all, Just wanted to say we installed a 16 metre long patio by 5 metres out. It was the worst thing and waste of money we did. using our patio. We requested help from patio world but all we kept getting was it's a subcontractors fault. He would come and silicone everything. It never worked.

The fault was in the railing that screwed to the house that the patio world roof is screwed and sits in. It leaks so much you may as well put a sprinkler on the patio.

We requester help several times and they blamed the subcontractor. Their product is rubbish. HaveI been sick for several years and should of warned people earlier. They push all their faults and blame the subcontractors. We don't recommend this mob. Screw you patio world rip offs

Gazebo build – Patio World rep came to do a quote for a 6 x 5 mt pergola. It was to be attached to the fascia and to two steel posts and an insulated roof. Simple? Not really. The rep said he will send in a quote. A Week later he e-mailed and said it was too hard. He was living on a boat in Rosslyn Bay and wanted to relocate to Batemans Bay. Is this the norm for Patio World contractors? Disappointed big time and will never recommend them to anyone.

Nice product delivered on time and at cost – Professional company that delivers on their timeframes and price. Quality workmanship and quality product. The Patio World Team were proactive throughout the build process providing experienced guidance throughout the build process.

He recommended "pet mesh." He told me it would work for our needs - our birds would not be able to chew through it. PATIO WORLD REP RECOMMENDED THIS BASED ON OUR NEEDS! That's why we had them quote. We don't know what we need. That is their job.

They replaced it twice after saying the first time my birds chewed through it it must have been a 'faulty batch.' When it kept happening they told me it was my fault. They said "pet mesh" was not the right product even though the rep told me it was and that cats and dogs could not paw through it. Again, this is their area of expertise, not mine. But they blamed me for the product THEY recommended based on my needs!!

I still live to tell the tale years later. Rats are now chewing through it as well as my birds being able to chew through it. It's such an eyesore and I have patches everywhere and my sister lives in fear that they will escape.

I've now got quotes from reputable patio screen suppliers who said pet mesh was the wrong product!!! They have said without hesitation I need stainless steel mesh. I'm now paying a lot to have this done properly. If I'd know this to start with I would have paid for the RIGHT product instead of messing around for years with an incorrect product.

So disappointed they did not fix their incorrect recommendation and product and replace it with what they would have known it needed from the outset! Happy to take our money. Not happy to do the right thing.

Perfect patio extension – Our patio extension was built exactly the way we wanted. We have a perfect entertaining area. The staff were all very competent and professional. We would have no hesitation in recommending Cairns Patio World to anyone wishing to add an extension to their home.

Product supply for 2 major jobs-feedback – We've now dealt with Patio World Central Coast/Newcastle providing product for 2 major projects at our home, the product being the supply of TREX decking & related hardware. All dealings with Wayne & the team from Patio World were first class & on budget, all delivered on-time following order . Perfect house extension – We love our new house extension, it is now a perfect entertaining area. It was built exactly how we wanted, we are super happy with the quality and final result. The customer service was excellent.

Great House Extensions – I would have no hesitation in recommending Patio World Cairns to anyone who is thinking of adding a carport, awning or extension to their home. The staff were all very professional and helpful at all times and delivered the finished product on time and within budget. Great service. Will never recommend this company – We had a room extension done by Patio World. We are now in the process of pulling in down due poor workmanship. Roof has leaked for a few years now and corrosion is setting in every where!! They didn't build what was in the contact so we had to improvise. Unfortunately that made it look terrible. We are happy with their work – Went through Patio World Newcastle. Had some issues with the initial quote due to staff who ‘left the business’, but the owner honoured and improved on their quote. We are really happy with the design, quality of work, products used and all tradespeople involved. They were very easy to deal with. We’ve been burnt by dodgy builders in the past and would use Patio World again in an instant.

Best decision ever – 15metre insulated patio is the best part of our home. We had a back and front patios done in 2018 and the work was second to none. Customer service was excellent from the office to installation and after. We have just rang patio world to do some more work. Good work is worth the money. If you want cheap and dodgy dont ring patio world

I cannot recommend at all – Quick to take my money but then failed to do the work as contracted and failed to complete the job leaving it non-compliant. Then wanted more money to complete the contraced work. Also failed to provide required documents. I will never use them again.

PERFECTION!!!! – I cannot thank the Patio World Mackay team enough. I love the Apollo Patio that was Installed in 2017 right before Cyclone Debbie hit the region. My previous patio i was not confident with but with the Patio from Patio World i had no problems with in the Cyclone. I love how confident the Design consultant was selling the product and the staff are all amazing people to be contacted by. I would happily recommend Patio World to any friend on mine.

Job not finished after 12 months of promises – 9 phone calls, one year later and patio still not finished. We have a 2 inch gap between our patio and our gutter. Numerous promises to complete are recorded on my phone. One year of being let down, I decided to write this review so that others know what to expect. Nice product but they will let you down like they did us.

Warranty not honoured and bad after service – Had Patio installed in November 2016. Finishing not completed as per picture shown when contract was done. Then after agree to do finishing they left holes in roof stating it was part of the conversion. Really.
