approachable. Bradley really set the tone for the high level of service we would go on to receive from MyLiving Outdoors.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we unfortunately had to postpone the commencement of our project for at least 6 months, which we communicated to MyLiving Outdoors. They were extremely understanding and accommodating and at no point did they place any pressure on us to proceed before we were ready.

When we were finally able to get the ball rolling again, Vicki kept us informed throughout the scheduling of each stage of the project and the timing was exactly as outlined.

Our carport was then built over 4 days by Trevor and Michel. Their high level of expertise was evident throughout the entire process as they worked efficiently while keeping the site neat and tidy at all times. The workmanship of the final product is truly outstanding — our carport looks even better than we could have ever envisioned and we couldn’t be happier.

Overall, MyLiving Outdoors provided a level of service that is rare to find these days. We cannot recommend them highly enough. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would.

their response was prompt and the company rep who came to see us to discuss our needs was refreshingly honest and offered us a very creative solution, which had not been suggested by any other companies that we had approached. My Living Outdoors listened to what we wanted and set about making our dreams come true. Everything was handled by them and regular communication kept us up to date with the process of council approval and other administrative requirements. The original contract stipulated when each step of the project would be completed and when each payment was due. The tradespeople employed by MLO were amazing. They were very good at their job and also very easy to get on with, consulting us as they went and listening to what we wanted. The MLO staff who came regularly to check on the progress of the work were also great listeners and always ready to answer any questions that we had. Office staff were polite and helpful on those occasions when we needed to contact the company. As you can tell, from what I have written, I am amazed at how good this company is and have no hesitation in recommending them to other people who want to add value to their homes as well as enhance the experiences afforded by the construction of sound and attractive additions to the outside areas of their homes. It has been such a relief to have a company that we have not had any worries at any time in the process. Well done, My Living Outdoors!

The 20-square-meter green area in the front yard was converted into a parking lot. They responded quickly, offered different feasible solutions, and executed it promptly. How disappointed we were. Received the quote, signed the contract, paid the deposit and 18 days later they advised us that the quote was wrong and we had to pay an extra $1400 otherwise they would cancel the contract. Apology meant nothing. Now we start again 3 weeks later

If you are part of a Community Corporation - ensure the project has clear timelines, working days/ hours, the impacts on neighbours and neighbours notified prior to project commencement. As a neighbour I was without my off-street car park for 10 days. Very disappointed there wasn't any communication or negotiations made by the project manager. Hopefully their processes have improved since I shared my concerns.

Bad start, better ending – The replacement pergola was started in September, told it would take 3-4 weeks, with us doing the painting. It took 4months due to the replacement of some defective materials. for the delays and slow follow up, without making excuses (very refreshing), and has replaced the bad wood.. We’re satisfied with the outcome and are now enjoying our new pergola.

The team made the process easy. Expectations were clearly set at the beginning of the project, and our final product was delivered within the expected time frame. We were kept informed of progress every step of the way. It looks fabulous, and our design requirements have been met. within our budget. All the council approvals and planning was all looked after and we were kept up to date throughout the whole process. The two install guys were friendly and very professional and nothing was too much trouble for them even with a difficult bay window to work with they got it done and everything looks fantastic. Couldn't recommend this company any more highly. A hassle free process from start to finish. Thanks for all your assistance, we love our new outdoor living spaces!!

Bradley came out to assess my yard. He was punctual, polite and very helpful. He was honest and although he wasn't able to help me directly, he gave me great helpful advice. These guys seem like a professional, honest, decent outfit. Show reply
