while still feeling wonderfully supportive. It has two firmness options (a medium side and a firm side), and we’re currently using the medium side for my little girl, which seems perfect for her.

One thing that surprised me at first is how heavy the mattress is (around 25 kg), but to me that actually feels like a sign of real quality and durability — the kind of mattress that’s built to last for many years.

Outstanding mattress. Even though it arrived in a box, it has great structural integrity. I’ve had great, restful sleeps. I love that it’s tox-free especially with my toddler sleeping on it. The cherry on top is the exceptional customer service. I love that it’s Australian-based and will support Australian companies first. I would buy again!

Refused Refund Avoid Peace Lily I ordered the Peace Lily Organic Egyptian Cotton Sheet Set, Mattress Protector, and Mattress Topper. All three were a disaster. unbearable to sleep in. The topper was so heavy and unsupportive that I woke up with lower back pain from the very first night.

When I asked for a refund, Peace Lily agreed to take back the topper but refused to accept the sheets and protector. They hid behind their “policy” exclusions and tried to frame this as “personal preference,” even though customers buying online cannot inspect products in person and are entitled to rely on the Australian Consumer Law. Internal policies cannot override the law.

In my experience Peace Lily is forcing customers to keep products that are not of acceptable quality and not fit for purpose. This is not just poor service. It is shocking behaviour from a company that presents itself as ethical and customer focused.

I have lodged complaints with the Queensland Office of Fair Trading and the ACCC and I am initiating a chargeback with my bank. I strongly caution anyone considering Peace Lily to think twice.

Peace Lily’s reply to my review is incomplete and misleading. 1. The proposed Salvation Army collection only applied to the mattress topper, not the sheets and protector which are also in dispute. It is not correct to say I “declined” the return. What I refused was to wait until 16 October for a partial collection that left two defective items unresolved. 2. This return process has already dragged on for over a month since delivery on 4 September. I have been in constant back and forth with Peace Lily throughout this period. To suggest this is “just one more week of waiting” ignores the unreasonable delays I have already endured while trying to exercise my rights. 3. The sheets and protector remain unfit for purpose. The sheets are so thick and stiff they cannot reasonably be described as sheets. The protector is excessively bulky and heat inducing. These are not matters of “personal comfort” as Catherine describes them. They are failures of acceptable quality and fitness for purpose under the Australian Consumer Law. 4. Peace Lily’s position that hygiene exclusions override the ACL is simply incorrect. Statutory guarantees cannot be excluded by internal policy. 5. Finally, Catherine claims that out of “thousands of customers this is the first complaint.” That statement is demonstrably false. There are multiple negative reviews online describing the exact same problems with quality, refunds and service.

In my 50 years I have never met a more unreasonable or stubborn person who could care less about the reputation of the company they represent. The items remain packed and ready for collection, yet Peace Lily continues to delay, misrepresent and refuse to honour its obligations.

My complaints are already lodged with the Queensland Office of Fair Trading and the ACCC, and I am proceeding with a chargeback. Consumers deserve to know exactly what they are dealing with.

My sleep has been the most comfortable in over 3 yrs, I no longer get hip or lower back pain and I find I drift off rather quickly and my sleep is less interrupted with having to roll over or readjust every 20-30mins.

I think Im going to purchase the plush topper next and spoilt myself with a new kapok pillow and Egyptian Cotton sheets to make it even more a dream bed.

To be honest I had wanted to go with Peace Lily when first looking for new mattress but without a store, I was hesitant and that resulted in a terrible mattress that cost $4k I should have done this to start with wouldve saved years of a sore back nd hops and a lot of money!

has taken a while for the mattress and topper to expand- Initially the topper didnt look long enough, but every night it just feels that much comfier. I believe it will keep getting better over the next 6 weeks or so. Pillow of crumbed latex was easy although a bit messy to get to the right density for me, and is really comfy for my sore neck. Edge of mattress is supportive and easy to alight from. Have had latex before. This one didnt make my legs feel weird like my last one, and I have had great sleeps from the start. No pressure points or numb spots. Overall, couldnt rate this company and product highly enough. Medium full-latex mattress with plush topper and shredded latex pillow should see me out and my dogs love it too.

we'd try something new. We spent a small fortune on a high-quality bed base after reading a review here where Peace Lily refused to honour the warranty as they deemed someone's bed slats as unsuitable. We then spent $2,162 on a king mattress, two pillows and delivery on June 26 2024 (4 weeks ago). Despite other companies offering incredible EOFY sales, we went with Peace Lily (who offered no sale) as we had done a lot of research on natural latex's fire, mould and dust mite-resistant properties and wanted to give it a try.

Last weekend I was sitting on the bed drying my hair, as I have hundreds of times on my previous mattresses. I smelled burning rubber and smoke and looked down to see that the mattress cover was burned through and there was smoke coming from inside the mattress. Underneath the cover the latex was all burning and it kept spreading and I couldn’t put it out. This was absolutely terrifying as my baby niece was lying on the bed and could have been seriously injured or killed.

The mattress is now ruined as the heat kept burning the latex inside; there is sticky residue seeping out and the whole mattress (and our house) stinks. I have no idea how this happened as the hair dryer is nowhere near hot enough to burn my head/hair and has never burned a previous mattress, furniture or fabrics.

It's been several days and our entire home still smells like chemicals and burnt rubber. We are concerned about the health implications of the burnt mattress/latex in the air.

When I reached out to Peace Lily letting them know that their mattresses need to come with a fire hazard warning and asking what could be done, they came back absolving themselves of all responsibility, stating "it is crucial to avoid using heat-producing devices like a hair dryer near or on the mattress to ensure safety" and blaming me for "misuse." No where on their website is this clearly stated. They also quoted their fine print, which states that burns are not covered by warranty.

We’ve had this mattress for only a few weeks, and after spending an arm and a leg on it, will have to throw it out as the latex is completly melted through, and we will be left with no mattress to sleep on.

Furthermore, we are having to pay removalists to come collect the mattress to take to the tip. Quite literally thousands of dollars of our hard earned money just went up in flames.

We didn't even get the chance to properly test the mattress for comfort.

We will be returning our pillows as we want nothing to do with this company.

Ok but dissapointed – Not too bad but slightly disappointed as I don't find it as comfortable than our previous spring mattress and sometimes wake up with slight back pain. also make it higher which would be quite nice as we find it a bit low) but I like the simplicity of just one mattress so not sure I want to spend the extra money. So overall ok, but probably not as comfortable as other quality regular mattresses out there. If environment is important to you like it was for me, then go for it I would say.

No going back – So impressed with our mattress, topper and pillow! As we need lower back support I was concerned whether Peace Lily would provide just the right amount. Latex Single Mattress – The best mattress I ever had!!! Highly recommended – I purchased 2 long single mattress, we are loving them and it so good that my husband and I can both have the softness level we like. We have a king bed and you cant feel the seams when you lay in the middle. I love these mattress and wish I had of purchased them years ago. Quality Product at a Very Good Price – I ordered the double latex mattress and double adjustable base. Arrived quite quickly. Able to put it together by myself (much easier than the queen size I had put together last time). and a good company to deal with. They appear to genuinely care about customers. It works, because I've recommended a couple of people to their products. I have multiple slipped discs along my spine and find that a firm latex mattress and firm solid latex pillow make sleep time regenerative. Also some bone density issues and find that the firm latex doesn't bother my hips at all when on my side. But my sister has back issues and finds a medium latex mattress better. Note that this mattress is firm on one side and medium the other.

We love the topper – We should have bought this years ago. We have a 30 year old latex mattress which is still fine, but a bit firm. We have been to the showroom and are thinking about an adjustable bed and new mattress, but in the meantime we have the topper and it's so good. So comfortable. Love my mattress – Thank you peace lily, I am so happy with my new hybrid mattress.
