come out to repair and damaged it even worse than what it was then have the nerve to say we don’t stock this flooring any longer and when we disagree to put in a different colour flooring they said because we refuse there offer take it to the timber flooring association to get a reports so both PTF and the builder wiped all responsibility for it even though it’s still under warranty what a joke so we got another contractor to come and install then said that the floor prep was not done as you can see it was never properly level and installed it just like that

Floor is very noisy and very hard to clean – We received our new home from Simonds back in October 2023 on hand over noticed that the floor was very dirty and noisy . this year we had a visit from your company to our house. The man came in walked on the floor and said that this noise is within the range of noises for the floor that we chose. the floor chosen was the TRENDLINE LAMINATE MAGNOLIA. He told me that this can happen in this area where the weather can change between hot and cold. Not sure why Simonds didn't tell me this upon selection process as my home is in rural Victoria. The man who came to the house told me that i shouldn't use my bare feet to walk around on the flooring as this will add to dirt and grease build up on floor he also advised me not to use your cleaning product on it. He advised me to go to Bunnings and purchase wax and greased remover to use on it with the mop provided. i am just a little disappointed that these problems have occurred. apologetic and also frustrated that the issue had gone on much longer than it needed to. We are happy with the final outcome and are very grateful for the assistance [Name Removed] provided.

I have sent numerous emails in regards to my flooring, the first being on the 7/7/21 due to several areas in the entrance and dining/lounge area lifting. I have since had 3 inspections by 2 separate PTF employees stating that the lifting was due to not having enough room for expansion resulting in the lifting of the flooring. After the third inspection, the employee stated he would send a report to the main office to book in to fix them as he needed to cut some of the joins under the expansion joint, as well as, replace the lifted boards. We have had several meetings with PTF and Simonds this year, who said they would replace a couple of the damaged boards, which we felt wasn't going to fix the underlying issue but agreed because just wanted our flooring resolved! However, after being extremely patient and more than understanding, the flooring issues still haven't been rectified.

13 months from the initial email and the ongoing issues with our flooring have caused the boards to worsen- this had included more lifting and moving boards, gaps between the boards, as well as, chipping on the edges of the raised boards. Unfortunately, replacing the couple of boards PTF was originally going to, will not be sufficient enough and instead, the whole laminate flooring throughout the house will need to be replaced!

We are really unhappy with the service from Simonds and PTF in relation to this issue and will be submitting an application with VCAT to resolve this as we have completely lost all integrity with both companies. I would advise anyone building through Simonds to source their own flooring company!

Bubbles on flooring and is getting worse throughout the house- company doesnt bother rectifying the matter – We built with Granvue Homes. movement so we waited for maintainance and put them in the report to get them rectified. Bubbles started appearing in the floor in the kitchen near the dishwasher. then i assumed something to do with the dishwasher. contacted Perfect timber flooring and told me that due to restrictions they cant have anyone come out. and told me the manager of the area will contact me. which he didnt. the flooring then got worse to the main corridor of the house. i called back and left a message to have a very annoyed manager call me and state he cannot do anything about it until the restrictions ease and if the matter is required to be looked into for me to inform the builder. Now to start withi sent in the request to the builder as soon as we moved in and they sent the guys once when the floorboards moved. i wrote to them about the bubbles too. I called the office again asking for the email address to send through photos which they sent me and email id that does nota llow me to send emails. states its blocked. Few weeks after Today many many more bubbles throughout the house. lookds disgusting. I called the office up again and they go- contact your builder. if there was a warranty to it and is an urgent matter this company is to look into the matter and sort it out as these floors were paid for . and paid for it not to have bumps that look disgusting throughout the house. I called them up today and to be given the same email address that says its blocked. For all those who go for your colours and see Perfect timber flooring please be aware. I havent got anywhere with trying to sort this matter directly with the company and will be taking it further as iam annoyed as to how a house with 5 months of build looks like.

the builders. Now after over a year in our new house, a lot of the the boards throughout the house have lifted at the ends where they join. As you can see in the attached photo, the lifting in the joins are quite noticeable and even more so when viewed in person.
