I have never experienced such terrible customer service. It seems that the business model at this dealership is based on lying to customers in order to increase profit margins. I will never deal with them again.
I had concerns about the delivery time for a new Prado I contracted to buy in December and it took a month for Kittles to respond so I ended up going through Cornes Toyota. It cost me my deposit but I found Cornes Toyota to be honest and reliable and I got the vehicle weeks before Kittles said they could deliver it.
My landcruiser Sahara isn’t even 2 years old still very much under warranty has been broken for over 9 months! The lights flick on and off it’s so dangerous! My CD player and DVD players don’t work, aircon is playing up!
No one gets back to me I get a delay because of covid and Panasonic is in Melbourne but this was pre Melbourne lockdown and now post Melbourne lockdown still nothing they say 2-3 weeks and again we’re at another 5 on the MONTHS I have waited on a car UNDER WARRANTY!
I called Toyota complaints and sent emails so many times, wh...en I asked for a manager they literally told me there all in meetings and that is more important than your complaint! Electronics stuff up I get it it’s the service and constant lies about when it will be fixed! The second it’s repaired I’m chucking it in and buying a FORD!
Took over 8 hours to service my car!
I was told the earliest I could get my car in was at 7.30am. So I like about 10 other people lined up at 7.30. After 8 hours I'm still waiting to get the vehicle back. They said Oh we work on the scheduled Out time?? What, why did I then rush to get the car into you at 7.30? Staff seem to be very good at ignoring people when they walk past you. I waited over 4 hours last time, I thought I would give them another go, not again. You have lost me as a customer!
Worst used car sales after service I’ve ever experienced
Once the sale has been done, they don’t seem to care.

Dropped my car off for repair on the 7th of may for a repair to a faulty airbag computer, was given a quote price. Was called at lunch time told car was ready to be picked up. When I got there the job had not been done.. all they did was put a diagnostic computer on it. Which I had already had done at my regular mechanic.. when I arrived to pick the car up I was told the part needed came from Japan.. was told I needed to pay for the part to have it ordered and the part would take 3 to 5 weeks to get here.. I rang 3 weeks later to find out if ...the part had arrived or if they had an idea on how much longer it would take. I was left on hold for 15 min while the girl at the front desk tried to find the service manager, the girl at the front desk was very polite.. eventually the phone was answered but it was not the person I rang to speak to.. I was then told this person would ring me back as he wasnt in the building atm... So I waited I was rang back and told no the part is not in yet. The whole situation seemed wrong to me.. so I rang another Toyota dealer and was told no this is not how they do things. The gentleman then asked for my rego and said let me see how long the part should take to come. When he returned he said sorry the part you need is no longer avalable and so it would never arrive.. so I rang ppl at prra hills back and asked if I could have the part no. I was then told oh we have been looking into that and the part is no longer avalable discontinued infact. So I went and picked up the money I paid for the part, was also told the car was not repairable.. so I asked what should I do, i was told i dont know.. I left in tears.. went to my normal mechanic on the way home and asked him what do you do with a non repairable car. He said dont be silly all cars can be fixed. And he would repair it.. and he has located a part to fix it in one day... so any one reading this do not use Peter Kittle toyota they dont do the job you ask, for and charge for parts they know they cant get.. and wasted 3 weeks of my life... oh and the reason I needed my car fixed fast as possible was because I needed my car to get my son to chemo.. I will never use these ppl to fix my car again.. they are useless and very very unhelpful..
Horrible Service! A waste of time!
Dropped my car at 8:15AM for scheduled service. I went back at 3:30PM and the car is still not serviced. Wasted an hour just to wait. Not coming back anymore. Plus they game a UTE for a loan car.
Terrible - Peter Kittle PARA HILLS WEST
Why am I not surprised at the number of bad reviews on Peter Kittle Toyota. If I could score zero on here I would. I would highly recommend u go anywhere else but here, good service deserves to be recognised but this place DEFINES BAD SERVICE. They have blatantly lied to us, hung up on us and wasted our time with constant phone calls. They won’t refund us our deposit and yet have the nerve to tell us that they are only keeping it so it can be put towards another vehicle when we come back. Why would we come back when everyone we have dealt with ...has showed us contempt and how NOT to treat people. A piece of advice Peter Kittle Para Hills West, grow up, learn some respect and treat people right. This place and the workers we dealt with are a perfect example of what is wrong with the industry, keep treating people like crap and lets see how long you last.
I bought my holden trax 2 year's ago. Bought it brand new. They made the experience amazing. But have had ongoing problems with it. But they always fix it with no dramas. It is disappointing to having to keep getting it fixed due to faulty parts but I recieve amazing help and service. And I'm always offered a hire car. Very happy to recommend Peter kittle holdens on port road.

Stay away from peter kittle toyota if you love your car ! Absolute nightmare to deal with!!!!! I gave my 2017 Camary for service and it was my 3rd service with Peter Kittle. I told the service coordinator to do everything which needs to be done for the vehicle even if I have to pay for it (As mine was capped service). As I don't have much knowledge of cars and what needs to be done at regular intervals. I trusted the PETER KITTLE service technicians to do their due diligence while doing the service. They serviced the car and didn't do wheel ali...gnment due to which my front Tyre has uneven and rapid tire wear. I went to Bridgestone to check the tyre pressure and to seek advice on why the tyre is getting worned out faster. They said that wheel alignment needs to be done at regular intervals (around 8000 ~10000 kms or while doing vehicle servicing). When I called the Peter Kittle service team and spoke to the manager and asked why the wheel alignment was not done. The answer I received was we don't want to add additional cost to the customers and the service team didn't feel it necessary. I then asked them isnt it recommended to do the wheel alignment every 8000 kms, for which I received some daft response. Due to their carelessness , I now have to shed money for changing the tyre. If the right thing was done at the first time, I could have used the tyre for longer time (the back tyre still has good life). Biggest mistake was to do the service at PETER KITTLE, My other car is services at North Point Toyota and they do excellent work. Never had any issues with their service and they call us explain in details of what needs to be done , take good care of vehicle and gives recommendations beforehand for smooth running of the car. I WILL NEVER recommend this company for service to anyone... It's not worth the headache and what a bad feeling!! Writing a blog on facebook about this so that mt friends do not face such issues.
Don't buy here
Was promised a free first service and sent a message that I could get android auto installed. I waited 3 hours longer than the service was supposed to take, android auto wasn't installed and the dealer then insisted i pay for the service.
Waste of our time
Took our two cars one a less than 12 month old Suzuki Swift and a Grand Cherokee Jeep the trade in price was a joke not even an attempt to negotiate. The boss came out handed us the keys and muttered something even if we were considering buying the new car we looked at after his personal skills we certainly wouldn’t bother. Have bought a number of cars in the past and always been treated well. Will certainly take our business elsewhere.
Bought a colorado
Bought a second hand colorado with 33,000ks on the clock but the paperwork said 31,000ks so my 3 month or 5000k warranty was half up when I drove off the lot, when I called them up to ask if they changed the paperwork and updated the ks after the service they did before I picked up the car, they told me they didn't service it, even though I was told they would and was the reason I couldn't have it that day.
Stand over bullying tactics, followed up with abusive text messages
The car salesman on the day was great until the manager [name removed] took over. He was nothing but a bully and undid all the good work by the car salesman. I was never going to by a car from someone who acts this way especially infront of children. Also be warned that if you decide not to buy a car from Peter Kittle you will receive follow up abusive text messages.. we will never return to Peter Kittle to purchase/look at a car.
Air Freight to Alice 4 days
Travelling from Adelaide to Darwin and my vehicle developed a noise in the engine.
Called into Peter Kittle on Tuesday morning to see if someone could have a quick look at the issue.
Reply " we can book you in for Friday"
After some negotiations they agreed to look at it on Tuesday afternoon at 2pm.
The problem was a failed turbo and I was told it would be 7 - 10 days to get a replacement from Melbourne.
I asked about air freight and was told air freight would not get to Alice Springs until Friday or Monday.
The part arrived Monday about 11am and the repair was completed about 5pm that day.
4 days for air freight from Melbourne is a joke and Peter Kittle claim they could do nothing about it.
Lack of warranty service
Do not ever expect these clowns to honour warranty they lie and they scheme to shut you up and get you out of their workshop. Absolutely Hopeless to deal with. Without doubt SA's worst dealership.
Just needed front bumper replaced quoted 6k
Then stuffed up the time i was meant to bring it in. Then rang me three times to tell me when i can pick it up and all three times it wasnt ready.
Worst repairer ive ever dealt with.
Rough body repair back yard quality
I've recently had my Toyota kluger repaired by Peter kittle collision repair in Adelaide after a hail storm that occurred in broken hill I found the repair very rough there's still minor dents in the doors and paint runs in the clear coat also I found missing clips under the inner guards and the trim ill fitted and every time I phone the manager they say they'll get back to me .. But never do so i had to lodge a complaint to my insurance company for this rework to be done.. so called authorised Toyota repairer !
My 18 year old son conned into buying a brand new Camry, not happy!!!
My son just out of school works part time got talked into buying a brand new car, he had no money but they convinced him he could afford it and said the loan is interest free, a lie, the cost of the car was well above what it is worth, they also talked him into loads of extras, he felt intimidated by the older salesman, and was told he had purchased the car even before he had signed a thing. My son was immature and uneducated in salesman tactics, he believed he had purchased before a signature had been obtained from him, since the story sounds the same as another I have read on this site I assume it must be a similar tactic, this is so wrong shame on you Peter Kittle Toyota for doing this to young people!!
Trying to force a purchase when no signature obtained. Worst experience at a dealership ever. And they won't refund deposit paid. Kittle Holden will be taken before ACCC for this.
