We paid approximately $30,000 for a veranda build. While the initial construction appeared good, we have since discovered a guttering issue where water pools due to insufficient fall. We contacted the contractor multiple times via phone, SMS, and email requesting that he come and inspect the problem. Despite repeated attempts, we received little to no response and no effort was made to address the issue.
We have now been left to deal with and fix the problem ourselves.
Very disappointing after-service and communication. Based on this experience, we would not recommend.

Would not recommend – I was extremely disappointed with this builder and felt that he was taking advantage of the fact that I am a single female. I did not feel safe around him, he went looking through my kitchen cupboards for my microwave oven (which I do not own) when I was at work, as he wanted to heat up his lunch! Not something a workman should be doing in a client's home. His tradespeople also used my hired external toilet and internal new toilet once installed, our agreement was that they would go to the local service station when needed. His communication was appalling turning up without notice or sending workmen without prior notification. He engaged an electrician without discussing his quote prior to doing the work and then presented an excessive work invoice. I have never received the final receipt for the last payment to the builder, nor has the builder forwarded the electrician's Certificate of Compliance (which I believe is a requirement of the contract).
