general “Parcel Post” system. I normally put in a bulk order in every eight weeks at other times. I previously used an Online Perth based pharmacy, which was working fine for about four years, until mismanagement of orders and postage destroyed my confidence as a customer. The Perth based pharmacy did deliver my order in bits and pieces from all over Australia. We never knew when, or what day, the last part of the order would arrive. We couldn’t go anywhere during the day, (Delivery info was all over the place) prescription refrigerated medication would arrive hot, end up throwing it out. (Goodness knows how long it sat in the back of a Aus/Postage van.) I’d like to commend Pharmacy Online, and to keep up with good customer service, It takes energy to run a good business. around $19 is a reasonable price sometimes seen at the big discount pharmacies from time to time). So at $15.99 through this website I couldn’t go wrong! Also I’ll add the product wasn’t cheap because of expiry- my bars are good til Nov this year. Bought 4 boxes of bars and then selected from a few random freebies just because (yes! Check out their ‘freebies’ tab, I got a free wash mit for one of the kids and a free pillow case). The service was great too- my order arrived within a couple of days. Free postage when you spend $100. It would be great to see free postage for a lower spend- but given the positives I’ve outline I’m not too bothered.

Will definitely be buying again if these prices hang about!

bit over a competitor on the pricing of one item, and a bit under a competitor on the pricing of another, but if you're buying several different items, there's a good chance that you're going to come out fairly even overall in the end if you buy from just one retailer, so I threw my lot in with an order just shy of $400 to Pharmacy Online. Buying all of the desired items from one retailer means making just one order, not paying multiple minimum freight charges, and not having to remain at home on possibly multiple days to take delivery of multiple purchases. As it turned out, Pharmacy Online obviously considered the size of my order sufficient to waive the charge for standard AusPost freight, which I appreciated.

I understand that retailers might be temporarily out of stock of a particular item for a few days, and that deliveries to them and to me might be impacted by current COVID-19 conditions, and I'm prepared to cede them a certain amount of patience. However, sixteen days after I had placed my order with Pharmacy Online, I had still heard nothing from them to suggest that my order had been dispatched, so it was time for a call to their customer service. It turned out that my patience had served me badly.

Customer service came in the form of a very courteous lady who, after checking my order number, advised me that my order had been binned by their automated "system" on the grounds of possible fraudulence. It seems that the triggering factor for the binning might have been my email address. I use a reputable but not well-known European premium (pay) email service. That service includes the option of creating alias email addresses – something that can be handy to give to new-acquaintance businesses as a spam control measure. In this case, I had used a rather long and self-describing temporary and disposable email address, which it seems that Pharmacy Online's "system" might have taken an automated disliking to and took it upon itself to bin my order. I was advised that there was a grace period of a few hours before such binning occurs, but I don't know if the "system" flags imminent binning of an order conspicuously to a human being, or whether anybody monitors the "system" for such warnings or takes notice. In any case, I was completely unaware that my order had been binned, and entirely miffed that I had allowed Pharmacy Online sixteen days of my patience for nothing before chasing my order up with them.

At that time of day, it was about ninety minutes until close of office hours. The solution, I was advised, was to place my order again, take a note of the new order number, and email it back to Pharmacy Online before their hometime so that they could rescue the new order in time before a repeat automatic binning. At this point, my feeling was that Pharmacy Online didn't deserve my substantial order, but it was going to be even more bother to research online merchants of the desired products all over again, so I reluctantly placed Order Version 2.0 (slightly modified to allow for the quantity of one item actually in stock) and emailed the new order number.

After that, Order Version 2.0 ran quite smoothly. My goods arrived within the expected timeframe, in a sturdy carton that was well-sealed up, and the contents well-packed with ample air pillows to ensure that the goods didn't get damaged rocking and rolling against each other during transit. That remainder of the transaction was a full-star customer experience. However, I cannot just turn a blind eye to Order Version 1.0 having been binned with no notification to me and with no attempt made to verify its bona fides with the customer. On this occasion, Pharmacy Online merits no better than a generous "fair" rating of 2.5 stars for the total experience – but I have to decide whether to give benefit of the doubt and round up to three stars, or truncate down to two stars. Seeing that my Order Version 1.0 was binned without the benefit of further enquiry, I'm not in a mood to give benefit of the doubt for my star rating either – so, on this occasion, it's truncated to two stars.

The day after the goods arrived, I received an automated email from Pharmacy Online soliciting a review for publication on their website. I advised them to check for my review in a couple of weeks on Product Review instead.

I held over submitting this review until my next credit card bill arrived, so that I could check whether Pharmacy Online had charged me for both Orders Version 1.0 and 2.0. I placed Order Version 1.0 on the evening of 11 September, and my credit card was billed on the same date. On 13 September that amount was credited back to my credit card, so no harm done except that I effectively provided a free short-term cash loan to Pharmacy Online.

I bought Accutrend Plus including the 25 test strips. The test strips expiry date was only 3 months, Furthermore, I was advised that the Accutrend Plus is no longer supported by the manufacturer. They do not want take responsibility of this and left me with $500 in the hole! Avoid buying anything from this company.
