No quote - charged 3 times for the lock - labour was over the top. Charged me over $1,300 to replace a $280 lock. Don't use them unless you have checked legitimate quotes / prices !
Don’t trust these people. Absolute scammers. Rude customer service. Quote you roughly $600 for a job, turns out to be $1,200 and they use $18 locks from Bunnings - the cheapest and most insecure locks on the market. Disputed the service, and the installer became instantly aggressive, patronising and unprofessional. Wish I did more research into who I had chosen. Stay absolutely clear from these people (also known as Tech & Lock Services).
RIPPED OFF BADLY – BEWARE OF THEM! got scammed badly! Am a cancer patient undergoing chemotherapy, and cannot work currently. They wouldn’t give a quote or a rough price guide until they sighted the lock Promised to come in 15 minutes but came in 35minutes!

costs only. After many emails of complaint, with no response, I had an independent tradesman assess the job who told me the wrong sized locks were fitted. After many more emails without response, I engaged a solicitor to write to them. Again, no response. I put my case to Consumer Affairs Victoria, who also couldn’t get a response. I am now taking my case to VCAT which will be lengthy. I really can’t understand why PickandLock didn’t address the problem, it could have been resolved quickly and easily.
They successfully scammed my 82 year old mother – This mob use paid ads on Google to bump their business to the top of the search and trick customers into thinking they have called a reputable Locksmith. My mother’s minor door lock repair/adjustment came to $1679. was after hours fee and some shoddy builders bog work to the striker plate mounting. Using standover tactics he attempted multiple times to extract the total from mum’s card. Luckily her card limit was $500 and that she didn't accept the offer to go for a drive to the nearest ATM, but she did also pay $450 in cash. Unsurprisingly they haven't attempted to get the balance and are not responding to attempted contact. These people are the lowest of the low, preying on the elderly in their time of need.

Do not use Pick A Lock or Easy Lock – Technician broke our lock in the process of picking the lock. When we called he said theres nothing he could do and that we have to pay for a new lock now. Disgusting, rip off – ABSOLUTE JOKE! They tried to charge me over $700 to change a door handle. I was quoted $129 for a call out and told that the indoor handle would be fairly cheap. They managed to do the job (poorly, making the hole for the handle bigger than the actual handle and putting it on crooked) and afterward told me it would be $718. I emailed a complaint… Read more

So the services from that organisation isn't cheap ery expensive. And I was trying to call them after nearly one week to have a look they are refusing to fix their problems, but no receipt was given to her. She was really disappointed.
They also refused to come and fix it too.

Very professional service – I called pick and lock after i lost my keys to my house, the locksmith arrived and change the locks and even made everything on the same key, was very professional and quick

Worst experience ever – I had a man from come out to my home to help with window locks I can't open. He brought in this huge bag, only took a drill out and proceeded to insert drill into key hole, after drilling for 5 minutes I said " I still want the locks, I just want to fix the lock so it opens. Be wary, over pricing and over charging – What a disgrace this company is. Don't even obtain a quote from them you'll end up paying more than what is quoted or charged Call another local provider. Save yourself the pain.
Disgusting – Wish me seen these reviews before I found pick and lock. Half of hour work charged me $700, change a gate handle. Will break a window next time as it would have been cheaper – Locksmith said its expensive on a Sunday, and mentioned a around $200 , but was a bit vague as he said there were taxes etc, the bill for 2 mins work was $466, which for a pensioner locked out in the heat was I believe excessive.
Absolute theives, reviews speak volumes – Absolute thieves, quoted my son $369 for a car lockout then added gst and $75 late call out fee, deceptive conduct will be reported. A quote is a quote.

These guys hide behind an offshore call centre, and won't call you back – A friend of our used these guys, as she inadvertently locked herself out of her house. She made the mistake of not asking for a price...... after a 5min job, was presented with an invoice for over $800. Then was strong armed until she gave up her credit card. I have tried to talk to someone, but all I can get is an overseas call centre.
Overcharged – I called for an upfront quote which was not provided. The call was then passed to a locksmith. The locksmith arrived saying the lock was too complicated ..charged $317 that included service charge, GST plus extra charge for using bank card to do payment. I called the pick and lock services to query about the overcharge but the female receptionist denied that a service call was logged in using my mobile number and stated they do not transfer calls to locksmith. I think I was scammed. Over charged for bad workmanship – Trading under Wise Tech Services Elsternwick, Vic. 19th March 2024. Deadlock replaced and keyed to suit my keys. Charged $935.00. installation was faulty. Door could be opened with a shove. Key could not be used inside; I had to get another genuine lock smith to make my lock functional.
Do not use this lock smith – Do not use Wise Tech Services Pty Ltd ABN 19 966 783 377 This locksmith came to my 87 year old mother’s house yesterday, spent 2 hours removing and putting her two door locks back on and then said what she wanted wasn’t possible. He then charged her more than he quoted and stood over her until she paid.
Srsly WTH?!?!?!! Save your time and money! – The people working as part of this “company” should be so so ashamed of themselves! Seriously not even worth a fraction of one star! This company operates on misleading/false/deceptive information on their website, poor upfront transparency about what the close to true cost will be, price gouging, and exploitation of people in vulnerable moments. Save your time, money and sanity!
Excessive pricing – Was charged over $800 for less than 5 minutes work…Tried to use their complaint and feedback form to express my concern and form was faulty! I will follow his up!
Unashamed scammers – Complete scammers!! Got told one price of $250-$300 and extra cost for better door handle. Ok. Payment time comes and THEN told the total with a huge amount of extra fees - total was $943!!!! For a door handle change from a broken lock. Technician left a huge mess behind too. Do not use! Misleading priceing – Technician wouldn't give price until they were in front of lock. Said $220.00 which I thought was high. Then added on GST and call after opening lock. This should have been clear when quote given. This is misleading practice. I will not recommend or use them in future.
