Faulty product – On 18 July 2015 I bought what was stated as the Sebel leather corner lounge suite, I paid over $2000 for it and was given a free leather protection plan for it. We have had an expert in and have a letter to state that it is suede with a leather look alike sprayed on top to make it look like leather. I am taking this to the ministry of fair trading as well as to the television stations. Hopefully my actions will prevent someone else getting burnt by fraudulent advertising by this company.

testing only to have same issue happen to them and second bed failing, sent out a third with a promise from store to send someone out to assist wife in pulling apart broken one and setting up new one bed was then delivered late with no-one from store present only for wife to call and be told they were busy - working near the now closed down store i know this was not the case) then when correct we finally settled on one that was delivered with minor chips in it but settled because this one didn't actually fall apart. Then had issues with recliners etc. on a unit that they no longer stocked so ended up with a replacement unit that has now also had issues and currently is paneling in the back or recliner broke, stitching coming undone and recliner cables breaking (again - now no-one local is able to repair so need to be sent to Perth with at least a week turnaround to have a couch back) customer service team is more interested in "being right" by saying all the issues are "unfortunate" and that they only sell quality furniture.... our experience says otherwise. If this was an isolated incident and they actually wanted to help rectify things instead of giving attitude (which in the end was reciprocated due to complete lack of empathy or care factor from customer service) would be different but its always a battle with them and an inconvenience to the customer. One piece of furniture we purchased didn't have any issues so you're a 33% chance of getting something with no issues...

Extremely bad service and attitude – We have always gone into the bunbury store where kim was always so happy and cheerful and more then willing to help us and we have always paid 30% deposit and paid off the rest over 6/8 weeks with our 5 previous purchases including 4 bedroom suites, lounge suites etc even helping sort out a stuff up where we were missing tallboys and mattresses… Read more

However we go in today to purchase a package and pay half the price as a deposit to be rudely told no dont do that never have and not only that have no help when asking for measurements or even answering simple questions i am now boycotting this store like most other people due to the rudeness we have experienced which is sad as it was our go to store for all our furniture needs.
