Absolute rip off – I was charged $3,870 to install a sink, tap, hook up the gas burner and a toilet for the ensuite. Considering only items supplied by Plumbcorp/Dan's Plumbing was a $160 toilet and some PVC plastic piping means I paid about $3,600 for less than 4 hours labour ($900/hr).
Avoid this organisation like the plague – This outfit charged $45,000 in total to clear a blocked sewer pipe , realistically could have excavated and relayed ( which was not necessary in fact ) about10 metres of pipe for about $5000 .
never use this plumber again – My house had plumbing job done on 21 Sep for drain system. Paid $1900 for the job, but no improve. The job has two parts. One is so complicate work I understood so that I agreed to stop at half way and not further proceed , but another job is clean the drainage in backyard, it's no any improve. The plumbers are professional looking and do a good job for what is actually done and turn up on time. I had burst hot-water system, old galvanised gas pipe that they said needed to be replaced for new compliance regulations and leaking/blocked kitchen sewer line. I didn't know the sewer line was leaking out under the house until I opened the under-house door to show the plumber access to the gas line. That was a bit of surprise to me and plumber who said this needs to be fixed. I didn't actually see the written quote and the plumber explained what would happen with gas and hot water and said he will fix the sewer for free (this should have been red flag). They use an ipad to sign for acceptance of quote, it has a full screen signing area that hides the written quote. I accepted quote for $18,525.00. He started work straight away to disconnect and remove the hot-water system. It was already late on Thursday as work started after 3:30pm, so 3 hours to disconnect the hot water system. Friday they started work promptly 7:30pm 2 people to remove/install gas pipes and install new hot water, additional people came during Friday, they also replaced part of the kitchen sewer pipe. On Friday during the day I looked at written quote from my email and noticed it didn’t specify the sewer as part of quote. I got a bit worried so got some quotes from hipages for the work to check the pricing. Work was finished just before 4:30pm but they said still had to come back Monday as it was still blocked. I got home from work and found out my kitchen sink had been disconnected from sewer. On Sat phoned to inform of the sink, the admin girl didn’t want to send anyone until I sent photo of the sink pipe. The plumber came in afternoon on Sat and was a different one, still from Plumbcorp. He looked at the sewer and said it is blocked so he would use camera and jetter to try un-block it, but he didn’t have the parts to connect up the kitchen sink. He found that he couldn’t get past a section that is under concrete and verbally said it would probably cost 14k to fix that as they need to cut concrete and dig down to pipe; he was quite good and didn’t charge extra. Monday came the original plumber came and looked at sink and connected it up again, then said job was finished. I said the job isn’t finished the sewer is still not fixed and to check it with camera. He checked it with camera and used jetter and couldn't clear it also. He replaced the above ground portion of the sewer pipe but said that is all he could do, because the block is further down. Waste was not removed as all old pipes are still under my house but the invoice states waste removal. Also because the sewer pipe isn’t on quote they don’t have to provide CoC or warranty.
So actual work done is replace hot water system. Most plumber charge $1500 for supply and install (consumer can buy same hotwater system for $1200 delivered) Replace 30meter gas pipe. Most charge $100/meter installed with easy access including labour. $3000 Replace 3m sewer pipe above ground. For consumer from Bunnings the most expensive PVC pipes and joints. 6m 150mm pipe $100 and 6 x joint/connector @ $150 = $1000 Jetter and camera 2 times from what I see this is about $600/time including labour, so $1200. This total cost is $6700. That leaves $11,825 for extra labour charges, remembering that most cost of $6700 is already including labour and at consumer prices. Thurs – 1 person 3hrs + 1 person 1hrs Fri – 2 person 9hrs + 2 person 6hrs Mon – 1 person 6hrs + 1 person 1hrs According to Hipage plumber usually cost $100-150/hr total for 40hours extra @$150/hrs = $6000 + $6700 = $12700 which is still $5825 cheaper than my quote. To get to my quoted price of $18525 the labour cost would have to be $11,825 / 40hr = $295/per hour.
I asked for itemised invoice and they refused, they even refused to tell me the price of just the hot water system so I could use it for depreciating asset.
In short they are prompt and what they work they do is good, but check the price!!
Update: the waste from under house was remove after this review.

times that over $21k, found out later that the job should have costs between $3k-$5k. Had a blocked drain, called Dan’s Plumbing, [Name Removed] turned up in PC Plumbcorp Ute. Note: all were done through his IPAD, where I couldn’t see the cost as the whole screen was the signing page, also all verbal quote were ex GST price & not the total, only found out when open the invoice on my email) Accepted quote for Jet Blast & CCTV $1k & drain no longer blocked. He found cracked pipe, said big job. He went to car, came back quoted over $13k after discount. Said that they it’s a competitive price & will discount the Jet Blast price & that he’ll help us by putting us on payment plan but we must sign up today. The discount won’t apply if he left today. [Name Removed] looked honest & trustworthy & keep saying that it is a good price & it needs to be fixed. He also assured me, that if I get a second quote their price would be similar. They dug the next day & cut off the broken pipe told us not to use the toilet, shower or do any washing. [Name Removed] then came back to check & said that they found more cracks, gave us quote nearly $7k (we have absolutely no choice this time but to sign off for them to continue. An absolute extortion!) After reading product review & Current Affairs (wish I had done this earlier), long story short, I stop the job, came to agreement total cost till completion just under $11k, unfinished job got a quote for $600. When I didn’t let them in, management use threats, pressure, intimidation with not leaving my premise, dobbing me to council, penalty, liability, incur extra cost will incur, claim the full payment from Finance company, regardless if stop have postponed the release of payment etc. None of these were true, they were just threats. They also try to make me sign to cancel the job, which I refused, if I did, they were able to claim the payment. I still paid more than double at least not four times.

If I could give 0 stars I would – I called Plumbcorp on Wednesday to 'quote' me for a job that included fixing a copper pipe that had become loose and snapped off. I was disgusted to be quoted $4100 for a job that took less than an hour to complete. inflated quotation. Unfortunately, this company will extort you for your money and make you feel like this is the best price you will find. I was then asked if I was a 'senior' which I am not, I'm 33 and they could give me 10% off if I agreed. I had this job completed this morning for $150 to the standard that I asked for from a local plumber that was happy to act honestly and with diligence. If you want to avoid being ripped off DO NOT even bother wasting your money on the 'call out fee'.

The job on the shower head was completed with a silicon seal but not to a high standard. See picture of gap between ring and shower head holder. I could have done this myself and saved $280 off the bill but assumed a plumbing company would have a more seamless solution.
A representative called me up after reading my initial review. She advised that if I had I called up and asked for a partial refund due to the high cost that she would have likely agreed to it. I said that I didn't agree with the sentiment of charging high now, partially refunding later. We agreed to disagree.
The guy provided a 'complimentary service' of sourcing (I paid for them) and fitting two bib taps. They were installed with differing size and style wall coverings. See photos.
In liquidation now ABN 30 618 352 739 – Job was done quickly. However was quoted 400aud over market. Tried my best to get my complaint through.They seem to be in liquidation at the moment. This is a total scam. $1000 for 5mins work to unblock a toilet – I had a blocked toilet he was only there for 5mins and I was charged over $1000 I can’t believe I fell for this scam. He said the toilet might need to be pulled off and just kept lying about what was wrong unfortunately I was busy with work and just agreed with the price. Then he did absolutely nothing but put some liquid down to toilet. $1000 to unblock a toilet that took 5 mins. How’s it feel to rip off hard working small businesses.

Beware - plumcorp does not itemise the account – I was charged $768.26 cent for replacement if a tap. Plumber had to do some cutting to fit new tap. I was given the bill but not itemised. After some Independent advice and research I have been charged about 5 or 10 times the standard rate for the same services elsewhere. wish I had done my due diligence on previous ratings and got a second opinion. Suggest people consider an alternative that is more ethical. Tried to resolve through contacting them but after being told they would investigate they then no longer returned my enquiries. Seem to be a very unreputable company.

to been replaced today. I was shocked at the price and said no thank you and said I will get another quote. Paid $38.50 for call out (the best money ever spent). Called another plumber and was quoted $1,400.00. Their should be a law made to protect people from sharks like this. I don't know how they sleep at night.

the call out fee if I gave him a good review as they were having a competition at work. I contacted the company to complain about the price. Later I received an email from the company. They offered to refund the call out fee if I didn't write anything bad on social media or anywhere else. Now they have sunk to new low using intimidating tactics. Kylie from management threatened me me not to take this matter any further and kept yelling over the top of me when I tried to speak. She hung up on me.

hole. The plumber gave me a quote of almost $1000 dollars to clean the pipe. I had attempted to clean it with no result myself and needed it urgently fixed so i agreed. The plumber then attempted to pressure blast the pipe which had no effect. Then put a camera down to see that the pipe appeared to have collapsed.
The plumber then gave me a quote to fix the drain which was about 12,000 dollars. I also asked if I could just pay his labour or get a refund as he did not fix the issue which he said no. I called another plumber who warned me to stay away from him and helped me fix the pipe within a night.
The storm water drain pipe had collapsed and filled a whole under the ground which then caused the sewage pipe to crack due to a sink hole forming.
A big warning to everyone to not use this plumber as they will rip you off and take advantage of you in a situation where you don't have alot of choice and pressure you into the repairs.

point where I needed a plumber to do their bit, so I paid for a Saturday call out to get a quote for 3 things: 1. Connect the gas regulator and hose to a stove top which is already installed; 2. Fix small and visible leak in plumbing (ie, replace some pipe) under sink and; 3.connect new sink which is already in place to existing plumbing.
The guy cones in, looks it over, takes some photos then goes to van to work out the price. After 20 minutes in his van the guy comes back and reads through his quote, which is a list of all ‘necessary’ things involved. The quote is over one page long and comes to $5,347.00. He explains that they don’t write the price next to each item NOR do they write the anticipated hours, as they charge per job. When my daughter pinned him down, he conceded that it was going to be between 4 -6 hours work for two other plumbers to complete. So, not only was the guy doing the quote not staying to do the job, I was going to be charged this much for a maximum of 12 hours total labour. Obviously I declined as even though it was a Saturday I knew it was really poor value for money. I thanked the guy for his time and thought that was the end of it, but I was wrong.
The guy goes on to tell me company rules are that he has to ring his boss [Name Removed], and [Name Removed] has to talk to me. [Name Removed] does so, and when I don’t cave in to [Name Removed] constant insistence that this ridiculous price is in fact the lowest I’m going to find anywhere, he starts making derogatory comments about my partly renovated kitchen. He does this while telling me he’s looking at the photo’s that the guy sent him (without my knowledge or permission). So, when [Name Removed] high pressure sales techniques didn’t work, he tried shaming me into using them. Disgusting behaviour. I’ve since gotten another quote (for free) from an equally licensed gas plumber who I’ve successfully used in the past and they’re doing the job in two days time. They’ve guaranteed me it will be UNDER $1,000. Shop around and beware of this company’s high fees and high pressure sales techniques!

Excellent after sales support and assistance – Booking process was simple, we were able to arrange a plumber to come out the following day, quote for work (jetblack & cctv combo) was a lot higher than i anticipated/expected.. good aftersales support and advice from Kylie.
Blocked drain – Called wilsons plumbing today and had a block kitchen service. We had David who explained what we needed to do to clear the blockage. We were so surprised to see what he killed out and saw a massive chop stick that came out of the drain. I couldn't believe it but would highly recommend David for ant service Show reply
