We purchased a copper bullet hose approx 2 months ago. We have had expandable hoses before. But this product is by far the worse hose we have had. It does not expand fully. It leaks from the tap fitting. The supposedly adjustable spray nozzle, does not adjust, it is just full force jet stream. Extremely disappointed with this product! Show details

They product is fantastic as a space saver, is very easy to carry and to work with -- no kinks. Al that the advertisements say is true. I am very happy with the product. There is one small negative being that the pressure is not as strong as a regular hose. Some of the energy is used to expand and keep the hose expanded. Show details

Good and Bad – I too bought my first one at Big W two years ago and use it regularly -still works well (tiny puncture from brom. spike) Drained after use and stored in a 9 litre bucket in shade with lid.However I have bought similar product on-line with less rosy experiences similar to negative reports in this review. eg, only use water pressure such that it just expands/extends to greatest length - I turn tap half on then restrict out-flow until fully extended. Works best with its own accessories - other fittings often leak.

Great Value – The pocket hose is brilliant. I have had one using it constantly, unfortunately I left it on with the nozzle attached and it burst. I am now trying to buy another one because I will be lost without it. Marvelous for courtyards as it retracts to almost nothing., Thus the name Pocket Hose.

Don’t buy it! Looks great on the ad and works as advertised twice and then does not shrink or retract and is just a stretchy hose no different to any other. The spray nozzle is also sub standard. Show details

Brought this copper hose from big w. What you hear on the ads is a bunch of lies. The one I brought leaks , the black bit on the beginning of the hose has broken in half. It does not go back to a small size Not happy with this product at all. Show details

Bought the longest version as we live semi rural. It expands when full of water….. but any drop in water pressure (I.e. using the hose by turning the valve to release water) sees it backtracking quickly. pool - it snakes around with any water pressure change meaning that it would not stay aimed at the pool even with a couple of kg stone sitting on top of it. Aaarrrggghhh. I should also note it took visits to 3 different specialist irrigation shops to find an attachment that works with local standard plumbing fixtures. Another $12 and about 100km later to find it doesn’t do what it says on the tin…avoid at all costs unless you want visitors to think you have a massive python in your garden.

Worse item ever bought – The 30 metre copper bullet hose does NOT recoil, it is a pile of mess. It has frightened so many people coming onto my property on acreage, as it looks like a Snake. So very expensive for something that does NOT do what the advertisment says, see RED everytime this ad comes on. What an absolute waste of money. Does definitely NOT deserve even one star !

pocket hose doesn’t fit in his pocket like the tiny 7.5 mtr one he shows. Let’s face it, it’s so overrated and overpriced and you can get better quality for less at the hardware store, besides who needs to carry the garden hose around in their pocket? Mine is in a reel on my wall and it retracts after use and stays there, not in a coat pocket, c’mon. Don’t waste your money, if a product is worth it the stores would want it on their shelves, it’s sold on television because of its a flop not a success, same with all the junk global shop direct sell. Will never buy – I made my own enquiries and it cant be used in communites that only have Bore water as bore water is Hot - very hot water, so it is useless compared to where ordinary garden hoses will cope...

Was happy for 11 months – The hose worked brilliantly for 11 months. I bought 2 of them and both sprung leaks at tap end. Due to the Tap connector being one sealed piece you cannot fix it. Until copper bullet sorts this quality issue out I do not recommend buying one. It's a brilliant concept, but very expensive product for 11 months use. Show details

Absolute rubbish – I wish that I had read the reviews before purchasing this rubbish. Yeah the hose expands to is maximum length but as soon as you turn on the hand watering nozzle the hose starts to shrink so you end up pulling the hose. DIDN'T SEE THAT ON TV. Globalshopdirect you are a disgrace to the Australian consumer. Will never buy any product that you endorse.

BAD PRODUCT - DON'T BUY COPPER – I bought one 25 ft Pocket Hose Copper Bullet. Had it for less than a month. Paid $35.00. The hose did not work as advertised. Rip Off Scam – I ordered two hoses and they only sent one. When I disputed it they said I have to prove I didn't receive it but they wouldn't prove through a tracking number. Rip off! Show details
