Was meant for caravan used very minimal, massive failure of product was unusable due to the severe leaks in both the nozzle & tap end connector very dissatisfied Show details
We purchased a copper bullet hose approx 2 months ago. We have had expandable hoses before. But this product is by far the worse hose we have had. It does not expand fully. It leaks from the tap fitting. The supposedly adjustable spray nozzle, does not adjust, it is just full force jet stream. Extremely disappointed with this product! Show details
It wasn’t long before my hose didn’t retract fullly when all the water stopped flowing. What a huge waste of money. I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody. I’m very disappointed. It twists and you have to constantly go back to loosen it up or see where the problem is to sort it out so you go further with it when watering the backyard. Show details

Wouldn't buy one again. Only lasted 6 months ( if that)leaks from the nozzle Show details
Okay, happy so far though don't know if it will last – Bought a month ago. Does what it says on the box so far but the strain relief attachment at the spigot has broken already. May affect lifespan I guess but can still use it well enough. It does expand and contract though and I quite like the hand piece i bought separately and its 10 choices for spray or jet. Strain relief failure – Less than a week old and the strain relief is broken. It will surely effect the lifespan of the hose Show details
Excellent – I am very happy so far with this 7.5 m hose. You just need to figure out how to use it. At first I also thought no good but I figured out to turn on water and keep it closed until it fills and expands -then turn on spray. When finished you turn off water and let all water out fast and hose will shrink. No more kinks . Love it. I recommend getting… Read more
a spray attachment . So far it’s strong and no leaks. Will be ordering another one just longer.Keep it protected in a box. Fits smaller diameter taps.

I purchased 2 hoses the 15m and the 30m I basically can’t fault the 15m one does exactly what they say but the 30m is another story it snags on everything twists and tangles and leaks from the tape attachment and becomes heavy to pull around maybe… Read more
this is due to the size overall the 15m is great but would not recommend the 30m attached are photos showing it twist
Follow-up · The hoses are used a few times a week maybe every 2nd or 3rd day, we have excellent water pressure and it twists mostly in the middle of the 30m hose no issues with the 15m hose
Positive reviews
They product is fantastic as a space saver, is very easy to carry and to work with -- no kinks. Al that the advertisements say is true. I am very happy with the product. There is one small negative being that the pressure is not as strong as a regular hose. Some of the energy is used to expand and keep the hose expanded. Show details
Good and Bad – I too bought my first one at Big W two years ago and use it regularly -still works well (tiny puncture from brom. spike) Drained after use and stored in a 9 litre bucket in shade with lid. However I have bought similar product on-line with less rosy experiences similar to negative reports in this review. Important to read instructions carefully… Read more
eg, only use water pressure such that it just expands/extends to greatest length - I turn tap half on then restrict out-flow until fully extended. Works best with its own accessories - other fittings often leak.
Great Value – The pocket hose is brilliant. I have had one using it constantly, unfortunately I left it on with the nozzle attached and it burst. I am now trying to buy another one because I will be lost without it. Marvelous for courtyards as it retracts to almost nothing., Thus the name Pocket Hose.
Negative reviews
Don’t buy it! Looks great on the ad and works as advertised twice and then does not shrink or retract and is just a stretchy hose no different to any other. The spray nozzle is also sub standard. Show details

Brought this copper hose from big w. What you hear on the ads is a bunch of lies. The one I brought leaks , the black bit on the beginning of the hose has broken in half. It does not go back to a small size Not happy with this product at all. Show details
Bought the longest version as we live semi rural. It expands when full of water….. but any drop in water pressure (I.e. using the hose by turning the valve to release water) sees it backtracking quickly. Try watering or washing anything near to its advertised length and you will be massively frustrated. I once tried to use it for topping up the… Read more
pool - it snakes around with any water pressure change meaning that it would not stay aimed at the pool even with a couple of kg stone sitting on top of it. Aaarrrggghhh. I should also note it took visits to 3 different specialist irrigation shops to find an attachment that works with local standard plumbing fixtures. Another $12 and about 100km later to find it doesn’t do what it says on the tin…avoid at all costs unless you want visitors to think you have a massive python in your garden.

Absolutely water of money. Does not expand like it says and the nozzle is crap. Does not have a shower function for plants more like a laser which threads leaves off. Show details
This copper bullet hose is junk. The so called turbo nozzle is useless and is nothing like what they say on the site and advertising tv ads Don’t waste your money honestly just go and buy a good hose from hose link Show details
RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE AND NOT GOOD QUALITY – Totally blew apart after 4 weeks and stretched to the point it was ruined. As the one of the most expensive hoses......definitely do not waste your money Show details
Worse item ever bought – The 30 metre copper bullet hose does NOT recoil, it is a pile of mess. It has frightened so many people coming onto my property on acreage, as it looks like a Snake. So very expensive for something that does NOT do what the advertisment says, see RED everytime this ad comes on. What an absolute waste of money. Does definitely NOT deserve even one star !
Waste of money for junk – Firstly how can someone patent a design that is already used in Forrest fire hoses, secondly you have to love the advert over emphasis on how difficult old hoses are to use compared to this one, they show a very long old hose being hard to wind up but the comparison they show the f this rip off hose is a short 7.5 mtr model. I bet the 30 mtr… Read more
pocket hose doesn’t fit in his pocket like the tiny 7.5 mtr one he shows. Let’s face it, it’s so overrated and overpriced and you can get better quality for less at the hardware store, besides who needs to carry the garden hose around in their pocket? Mine is in a reel on my wall and it retracts after use and stays there, not in a coat pocket, c’mon. Don’t waste your money, if a product is worth it the stores would want it on their shelves, it’s sold on television because of its a flop not a success, same with all the junk global shop direct sell. Don’t be fooled
Will never buy – I made my own enquiries and it cant be used in communites that only have Bore water as bore water is Hot - very hot water, so it is useless compared to where ordinary garden hoses will cope...
Was happy for 11 months – The hose worked brilliantly for 11 months. I bought 2 of them and both sprung leaks at tap end. Due to the Tap connector being one sealed piece you cannot fix it. Until copper bullet sorts this quality issue out I do not recommend buying one. It's a brilliant concept, but very expensive product for 11 months use. Show details

Absolute rubbish – I wish that I had read the reviews before purchasing this rubbish. Yeah the hose expands to is maximum length but as soon as you turn on the hand watering nozzle the hose starts to shrink so you end up pulling the hose. DIDN'T SEE THAT ON TV. Globalshopdirect you are a disgrace to the Australian consumer. Will never buy any product that you endorse.
BAD PRODUCT - DON'T BUY COPPER – I bought one 25 ft Pocket Hose Copper Bullet. Had it for less than a month. Paid $35.00. The hose did not work as advertised. The hose would not stay expanded with water inside the hose; only when the water is on and shut off at the nozzle. I sent the hose back and they didn't reimburse my $18.00 Return Shipping Fee. Probably should be… Read more
reported to BBB. Made me pretty mad. You would think the company would stand behind their product by paying the Return of Product Fee. Don't buy their product!!!
Rip Off Scam – I ordered two hoses and they only sent one. When I disputed it they said I have to prove I didn't receive it but they wouldn't prove through a tracking number. Rip off! Show details
Not happy at all – I have had 2 and both have sprung leaks. Now for the company to make it right.
Not quality – Used lightly for less than two years. Inside liner blow out. Warranty required too many steps. Not a quality product. Don't buy. Show details
Would not recommend for the price – What a disappointing hose and the most expensive I have ever bought. The connection sprays water even after tightening and adding washers. I would suggest buying a good conventional garden hose instead of this product! Show details
Stay away from Pocket Hose Company! – This is a scam company, added items I did not order to bill. You cannot reach customer service by e mail or phone. Returned items and still have not received a refund. Show details
never received!!! – Never received and kept sending me emails and text... How are you liking your new hose! ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO GET INTOUCH WITH.
