noise in first 'gear', and there's NO adapter delivered with this product. so you need to use one - with usb-connection - you already have. I use a Samsonite universal adapter, and it got VERY hot after a few hours on second 'gear'... Polar Breezy is presented as a substitute for airconditioning, but not even close. Considering the price, consider it as a modest alternative for a ventilator perhaps. Still useful as a bedside cooling device - when placed close enough.

If I could give zero I would. Actually useless, blew no cold air at all and absolutely a scam. I should have looked at reviews before I wasted my money. Asked for a refund and was told to realign my expectations given its small size when it’s clearly advertised as an AC alternative. Do not waste your money

Don't buy is my advice! This is nothing more than an expensive small fan and can't remotely be compared to air-conditioning. It's an absolute waste of money and I really can't understand how any genuine buyer can rate it more highly than one star as it doesn't do what it says it will. Don’t waste your money. $80 for a tiny, flimsy fan that doesn’t cool anything. You can barely get a breeze. A normal $10 desk fan would be a lot more effective. with tracking and never got a refund from them or a response to any further emails. Their website has lots of amazing reviews which I’m sure are false. So disappointed. Thank goodness PayPal were helpful in the end. Avoid Polar Breezy at all costs.

I so wish I had read the ACTUAL reviews rather than the ones on their website before purchasing. The Portable AC units are literally useless and just move hot air around. It's a glorified fan – I was hopeful this would be good, however it's basically just a glorified fan. The instructions say to wet the filters before use and put ice cubes in the top water tray for extra cold air conditioning, which I did, but it doesn't do anything, the air it spits out is only a tiny bit cooler than a regular fan. Also it does not last 3 to 5 hours after charged, I just got 2 hours out of the last charge and it stopped working and needs to be charged again. Pretty disappointed unfortunately.

Still hot – Absolute rubbish, couldn't cool down a cup of coffee, another rip off, fan isn't strong enough and the water cooling effect is minimal, wish I'd read the reviews before I bought it, save your money and buy a proper air conditioning system.

Polar Breezy not invented recently by Australian – Please don't believe the advertising that this was invented by an Australian. If we were in Italy, the ad would say "invented by an Italian". They are made in China and evaporative cooling is nothing new!

Misleading and deceptive advertising- Be warned, do not purchase! – PLEASE DO NOT BUY! Just a fan, that's it. Not even a powerful one. This is definitely a scam. Polar Breezy – This product is useless. Even adding ice to the tank does not cool the air sufficiently to cool a small (2.5m x 3m) room. Frankly it is no better than a conventional fan.
