replace both rollers as the plastic 'tyre' fitted to the roller breaks causing the door to jump or jam when opening or closing. The first roller failed in 2018 and I was able to purchase (with some difficulty) two replacements from Premium Oz. Both of these have now been used and I have been trying for the past 5 weeks to source spares for the inevitable next failure. Three phone calls to Premium Oz with promises that they will call me back. They never call back. Today I told the receptionist that I was going to post this review to which she accused me of being abusive. I was then put on hold until [Name Removed] came on the line and told me that the track and roller assembly fitted to my door has been discontinued and that under consumer law their company is only legally required to support their products for 5 years. The current 'Glide' door sold by Premium Oz has a track assembly which is not compatible with my door. [Name Removed]' advice "buy a new shower screen". DO NOT BUY FROM PREMIUM OZ IF YOU EXPECT AFTER SALES SERVICE!
Follow-up · The replacement rollers purchased 20/09/2018 cost $30 for the pair. A split/broken roller causes the door to bump up and down as the split in the roller comes in contact with the track on each revolution. Perfect fit, installation and durability – Shower is perfect; looks good, works well, easy to keep clean after a few years. Wardrobe is more recent and looks amazing. When we rang to ask about the problem we were told we were out of warranty and they would charge $180 to visit! I would have thought that the parts would have been recalled and they would have phoned us to offer to replace them!"
Our experience was exactly the same!When I purchased an 18 month old home the shower hinges in both showers had already started to rust in the same way as above customer. Apparently the parts are well known in the industry as poor quality ( I asked other 2 suppliers and both informed us this company's hinges are not fit for purpose) and yet this company continues to supply them. Consumer law protects us surely with what is considered "reasonable" and I agree, replacing shower screens every couple of years is not reasonable.
Shocking!!! – They installed a wardrobe that did not meet the specification and brief that I agreed to, when I questioned them and refused to pay because I was not satisfied, it took 4 months to get a response from management on how they would fix the wardrobe. There service is terrible and I will never use them again!
Couldn’t even get a quote – Called Premium as we had wardrobe installed at another house by them a few years ago and it was OK. Was told that they would not quote for a house that didn’t have off street parking for OH&S reasons ( note other house didn’t have off street parking). and they would unload straight into the house. It would be no more than 3 meters. They wouldn’t even discuss what access there was it was just a blanket no we won’t unload onto a road.... which they wouldn’t have to do.
50/50 – To be 100% fair- in 2014 we paid for our master wardrobe to be fitted our. The initial guy was great, and drew up the plan. After that 2 guys came to do the fit. months later my clothes fell off the rack a few times and they came back to apply a brace, happy days.
Fast forward to 2 weeks ago- the top rail and my clothes fell down. On inspection this happened because the wood supporting the rail was glued not screwed into the wall.
So I called and I was told “I must have overloaded it” and I’ll see if sales will fix it as I’m out of warranty. So then many calls to find out the outcome. Eventually I again spoke with the customer services manager.
No apologies for avoiding my calls, no apologies for not having anyone call to let us know if a repaire person was authorised. Again alledging I must have overloaded it and then refused to give me her bosses name. Poor interpersonal skills. They then offered a repaire. My husband felt bad for all the grief and repaired it himself.
We like the look and functionality- we liked the price, however attention to detail and durability leave a lot to be desired.

Lost my money! – A terrible experience, have been waiting several weeks and called. They lost my payment! Now expecting another 2 weeks before it is finally installed. A poorly run and operated company!

Avoid at all costs – Had a warranty claim on the vinyl covering on some robe doors, they wanted $ 215 to come and look at them , at the same time we were told they would not be covered as the vinyl was a moving part and was only covered for 12 months. Will see them in V.C.A.T. NOT HAPPY !!!!!
Incredulous service and communication – Pathetic at every level of response. Impossible to purchase from due to their complete lack of communication and customer service. Not even rateable. Do not try this company. Your life will be better for it.
Substandard materials – Low quality materials, shoddy install and clumsy management make this one of the most regretful purchases in our home renovation.
Better than the rest - A pleasant experience, simple and straight forward – I read these reviews and I have nothing but praise for Premium Showers and Robes. We made an informed decision by getting 4 quotes. Premium were not the cheapest but we felt more comfortable to go with them than the the other quotes due to the knowledge and design from the consultant Dave.

Very Poor Quality – We had two shower screens and three wardrobes done 2yrs ago. The upper magnets in the shower screens had to be removed as both fell down and made the doors very difficult to open. (Really?) If they were I can understand why. Garbage. The wardrobes, well, don't bother to design or request anything for the internals e.g. adjustable shelves, rack heights, space for a specific items etc. Or you will be told - we normally do it this way. And they did. Big disappointment.

Absolute rubbish customer service!!! – I cant believe companies like these aren't yet bankrupt! Total embarrassment you are couldn't even give me a quote after 2 weeks of phone calls!!!! They also installed draws wider than the doors, so you can not open the internal draws unless you have both cupboard doors open... to fix was too much trouble so we have left it, but it is annoying and a big mistake on their behalf.
Chipped boards, hacked plaster and skirting boards, poor workmanship, zero care factor
Yes the were a couple of hundred cheaper than anywhere else, but you truly get what you pay for.
I recently tried to raise these issues again, but there was zero interest or commitment from the sales guy. We were desperate for some storage and on a tight budget + i didn't do my research/ check reviews properly.. big lesson learnt there.
I'd save for a little while longer and go with someone else next even if it meant waiting a little longer.

If it's this painful to get a quote, I can only imagine the incompetence of the company. That customer service is woeful, and just not acceptable.

Worst Experience – They have installed my wardrobes and shower screens. Quality is so poor and the customer service is pathetic. Never ever go to them. Its better to spend bit extra and go somewhere else.
Very Happy with our new wardrobes! – To finish off our internal rennos we recently engaged Richard who works from Premium Oz's Dandenong store to replace the old swinging door type wardrobes right through our house (4 in total) with sliding mirror wardrobes to create extra space and they look brilliant. the width and all rubber stoppers are at least an inch too short, mirrors damaged with what looks like writing etched into it and splashbacks all made in the wrong colour. It's ridiculous, no attention to detail. We ended up getting shower screens and splashbacks removed and redone by another company ourselves. We are yet to deal with the mirror because we know it will be futile, we simply won't pay the builder and they can deal with it. Sliding robes were redone but the short rubber stoppers were ignored. We will follow up directly with Premium for robes to see if they will change them as in their showroom they claim to give a 12 month warranty. My recommendation, don't go near them - not worth the stress or hassle. nothing, they are hopelesd everything, there is not one thing they got right.

hold no accountability and pretty much hung up on me. We organised to finally get our mirror in tomorrow at the beginning of the week and I just got a call asking when the mirror was supposed to be installed. They said Friday wouldn't be possible but then he called back and said it would be installed thankfully. We have called about our splashback and the staff have not returned our calls. This has been a very drawn out and tiring process.

Absolute junk – Shower screen binding & very dangerous, I have young kids. Glass door don't line up with fixed panel beside it. Mirrors not straight, wardrobe tracks cut too short. Do not buy their wardrobes!! – I have never dealt with a worse company ever. The robes we purchased are so cheap looking with the worst drawers possible. You would be better off buying from Ikea for a quarter of the money.
