warranty Return – after doing my research on carbon wheels and the reviews for the Token Konax Pro disc 52mm wheelset were reading High, I ordered through probikekit on laybuy. wheels landed in Australia within a week and not knowing how customs operate the issues dragged on, after sorting that out wheels arrived. wheels built just under 2 years I had these wheels… Read more

and issues with the rear wheel started to surface when the cardon started to delaminate. after emailing probikekit with my concerns the warranty department asking for photos and a video of the issue which I had sent. at this stage I was not happy as these wheels had been great, so information was emailed with instructions on how to return and Courier pick would be organized, this was not easy and after multiple emails with FEDEX involved I drove to the Depot myself, Box returned and refund back in my Account. so I would say my experience dealing with probikekit was not 100% but 80%, would I buy again yes

Absolute Scam . Do not buy from this store – Bought a power meter 2 years ago and after long time it eventually arrived. Item became faulty but still under warranty so arranged to send back to them. According to fedex the item was received and signed for in thier warehouse. PBK keep saying that the can’t find item. So many messages back wards and forwards with so called customer service team. Keep saying item can’t be found. Surely after 30 days I should get a refund/ replacement

Find another shop! – I should have known better and checked for reviews first. Had I done this I would have know this online shop was not a good option consistently receiving poor reviews. They are not an Australian online store as they would have you believe. Your item will ship from the UK, you Will pay hefty delivery fees and may be liable to pay duty on your… Read more

item(s). I had figured this part out prior to confirming my order but decided to proceed anyway (I just want to make sure others are aware).

We received the item as promised but the sizing was ridiculously small. That’s fine. These things happen but in trying to attempt to contact the store for an exchange or return it has been radio silence. There are minimal options to make contact with them as well as they are clearly not wanting to speak with you once they have your money. An extremely disappointing shopping experience.

A very disorganised online store from UK – 1. This company is not an Australia based company; 2. They will send you faulty or used product. Myself recently bought a Fly6 Gen3 from this seller and end up received a used and water damaged product with dirts and green molde inside the charging port. 3. The phone numbers on the website never works and it directly take you to the auto answer… Read more

machine. 4. You only chance to have communication with this seller is on they website's customer message portal. 5. Once you send your messages and take long time to get reply back from them. 6. Even you end up to get them agree to process refund and they only send you the seller's company internal return form but the international courier consignment labels. Which in my case I have been asking them again and again for the consignment label and they seems don't understand or asking me to supply my credentials again and again. From my personal view this seller is trying to avoiding the refund me. they are playing games here.

Very happy with service – I ordered a leysyn front light and was given an expected delivery date on ordering. I received an email from PBK to tell me there was a delay in dispatching. I then read some reviews and thought then I would not see my light due to many negative reviews. I was sent a tracking number to follow and it was spot on. The light actually arrived a day early and absolutely no problems.

Sent a fake item – Ordered an elite sterzo for Zwift. So I can steer when riding in Zwift. Item arrived 4 days late. Opened the box looks good. Went to put batteries in and there are no terminals for the batteries !! So I got my screw driver and opened it right up. There was not one bit of electrical component in it ! An absolute fake !! Campagnolo Bora one 50mm wheeslet – I purchased this wheelset on 12 October 2022. Delivery was said to be between 24 and 31 October 2022 and arrived on 17 November 2022. Delivery was via Omniparcel from UK and once in Australia via Australia Post. I paid a small fee for customs, which is to be expected with a $2000 purchase. Payment is made to Omni Seko. No qualms about that. … Read more

The advert said “In stock - Usually dispatched within 24 hours” but it took 4 days until there was any sign of movement. Then the wheels sat at the export hub for a further 6 days. During this time communication with PBK was via their message platform. PBK advertise 44 (0)161 8131710 as their phone number but it doesnt work during business hours and outside business hours it rings through to their answering service telling you what their business hours are.

Communication via their message platform gives the impression you are communicating with a bot. The replies to messages seem generic and the replies are confusing. For example, when I asked about the delay I was offered a refund. That offer led me to read the reviews on this site (and elswhere) which had me worried.

With the delay and confused messaging I got in touch with my bank who, in turn, contacted PBK. As soon as that happened Omni parcel contacted me to pay the small custom fee.

The reply from PBK to my bank make clear to me that the delay was with Omni parcel not PBK. As soon as that payment was made, the wheels made their approx. 2 day journey to Australia and then through Australia Post to me.

I am very happy (see pictures) with my purchase. A big money saving albeit with an average customer expirence. On arrival, wheels were in original packaging, perfectly packed. Spare bits and pieces and user guides in original plastic wrapping, sealed and untouched. Exactly what I would expect for a high end wheelset purchase.

3 stars for me becuase of poor/confusing communication.

OZ BUYERS BEWARE! LIARS! Not oz company at all! a 10% GST applies! – so the 'bargain' shamals, tyres, campag chain and brake pads are now having an extra $200 GST slapped on them on import, ..(and other duties applicable) according to their website after these complete CHARLATAINS reveal in their fine print that they are a UK based company! Meanwhile slapping an 'AU' on their company name and even a '.com.au' on… Read more

their website domain! So not only has this exercise cost me more than buying local, its now held in customs in the UK (extended wait time) 'due to being an expensive item' ie, slapped with documentation ensuring the australian government holds my goods to ransom until I pay their extortion fees. So the so called marginal savings over Australia competitors is all but lost, by these lying thieves- I would support Australian companies 100% over knowing I have to pay GST over 1k online. I will pay it and open a case file with paypal for partial refund! I bought $2000+ of bike supply in good faith believing I was buying from an Australian company! How this deceptive criminal activity is even allowed is beyond me- never again!

Excellent prices and customer service – Ordered four tyres on13/9/22 and received them in Perth, Western Australia, on 18/9/22. Price and customer service responses were excellent. Was a bit concerned given the reviews. Ordered 3 MTB tyres to try them out and had no issues – Came across this seller looking for bike parts and thought I would look up the reviews. I wasn't originally going to go with them, but then thought I'll give them a go and not certain how my order will be dealt with as I'd read problems with significant delays and out of stock. Return policy does not exist – I bought some Lake shoes before Christmas, which turned out to be the wrong size (same size as old pair) anyhow ..was told no exchange but could return for refund. That was 2 months sgo. I have attempted to follow up several times but am asked the same questions I have already answered (bot I suppose). Very disappointed

Avoid – I ordered a tyre 3 weeks ago, I received no invoice but they took the payment. 3 weeks later the order has been cancelled with no explanation or apology. Apparently I'm getting a refund - good way to hang on to other peoples money. Please avoid

Mountains of spam with no unsubscribe option – I purchased one item from them ages ago, which was fine. No complaints about the process. However, since then I have received endless spam emails from them that have no unsubscribe button. This is not only sneaky, but illegal. I won't buy from them again for this reason.

ProBike Kit SHAM – If I could rate zero stars I would. 3 months from order to delivery. Zero communication. My experience reflects exactly what others have said. locally due to issues with delivery since Covid. Totally sham site.

Item was bought for a Xmas present and ordered in plenty of time (late October). Didn’t get sent straight away despite being in stock on site. Stuck in customs for over a month. Numerous calls to courier company, Australian customs and emails to ProBike kit. Had to purchase a second bike bag to use as my order took so long to arrive and so am now out of pocket $1000. Had to pay customs duties due to price of product.

Most laughable is the fact you can’t leave a review on their site as to the product or service to warn people. I have tried several times without success. This in itself should not be allowed.

Avoid this site at all costs.

Don’t get sucked in by the prices – Ordered a set of wheels, claimed they were in stock and then sent which they weren’t, very difficult to deal with. Many delays

The Worst Shop Ever - Avoid it – Buying from them is simply a horror: - I ordered an item reportedly on stock with a request to cancel my order in case they can't deliver within 2 weeks. - The tracking shows they sent the item even before I ordered it. - I got their reply they are unable to cancel their order because it has been shipped.

Shocking. Avoid – Ordered an expensive set of bike wheels. Delivery quoted as 7-11 days at time of checkout. 11 days later, wheels still sitting in UK customs. Contacted PBK. They told me I had to pay Australian import duties, that I would have already received an email from the courier with the amount to pay, and that it must be in my junk folder if I hadn't seen… Read more

it. After checking everything I had received no email. Contacted PBK again who 'escalated it'. Days later, still nothing. Took matters into my own hands and contacted the Australian arm of the courier company who kindly followed up and found the wheels and arranged for my import duty bill to be sent. Bill arrived. Ext day, which included GST despite that having already been paid. Contacted PBK again who apologised for the stuff up, told me to pay the GST again and they'd refund that amount from my original purchase. Days later with import duties paid, no GST refund, wheels STILL sitting in UK customs, and PBK refusing to help in any way. So I paid more than $2 k for the wheels, I don't have them, and PBK are not helping. Dreadful. I have read lots of other reviews since buying from these clowns and this is a pretty common issue. Avoid my mistake. Buy elsewhere.

HORRIBLE customer service and keep waiting – If you don't really need to buy from them, please do not buy from them although the items are cheaper. The delivery is a hit and miss. How this inefficient, deceitful company is still operating is beyond me! What poor customer service and how dare they receive the return and deliberately not provide the money owed! Shocking company. Very poor service and still no delivery! – I ordered an indoor trainer from ProbikeKit Australia on 3 October. When I placed the order the expected delivery date was 17 October. Still waiting for my refund – Australia Post confirms delivery of my returned item to the UK in early August, yet I am still waiting (14th October) for my refund. Several messages to their customer service team have resulted in 'nothing'.

Worst of the worst – The website showed items in stock and available for shipping within 48hrs. That didn’t happen so I tried to cancel my order but apparently I can’t because it is in “advance stage of dispatch” but hasn’t actually been dispatched. My order still just shows “processing”. Do not use them, I’m now in a fight to get my money back for something they said they had but clearly didn’t.

Sent me a Women's Vest yet wouldn't admit it or pay for return shipping – I tried probike kit but wont be going back again. Sent me a womens vest then wouldnt admit it even though I sent them a pic of the tag, and when looked up on google, states "Womens". Their only response, you ordered a mens if its not right fill out this form and send it all the way back to the UK at your cost. The person at the end of the service@t.probikekit.com email is a total ^$##$%#. Go to Wiggle instead, never had a wrong order yet.

DO NOT BUY FROM PRO BIKE KIT – This is NOT an Australian business. Ordered Knog lights that were showing in stock. Once I had paid the items were no longer in stock. Worst customer service, and you'll never get your stuff – Customer service was completely uncooperative trying to track down the package, would not even provide a phone number for the courier service. This is likely a scam or so incompetent that it seems like one. I'm pretty sure the customer service is run by an A.I.

Untrustworthy and appalling customer service – I ordered I set of wheels from their website registered as an Australian website. Only to find out weeks later that the wheels are stuck in UK and apparently I have to pay export tax and I’m assuming import tax. I have received no formal communication from any government agency advising the amount or how to pay.

DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY – Paid a few thousand dollars for a set of wheels. Was held in UK for duties. Never got an email requesting payment of duties. Complained. Better than expected – I did not realise items were coming from the UK I thought I had purchased from AU. I was stressed the whole time I was waiting for order to arrive. Luckily for me parcel tracking worked perfectly with no delays in customs and order arrived one day later than quoted by probikekit. Overall very happy.
