DISAPPOINTINGI am deeply disappointed with the standards of their products, particularly their packaging. The substandard packaging led to spillage and spoilage. Also, Professional Whey's customer service is slow, uncaring and totally lacking in understanding for the position of the customer. If you looking for quality products and packaging and exceptional first-rate customer service, Professional Whey is NOT your answer Show details

Not using it anymoreI have used the Australian whey protein concentrate for about 3 years, until around June 2022.
In that time I was satisfied but I could not have more than 2 scoops a day, because I would put an extra inch around my waist.
I just thought it was normal as googling said excess protein would be converted to fat (?)
From 2021 to 2022 I started to wonder about the product, and realised that there is no known brand name behind the product, and I only had the word of the supplier as to contents, purity , and source.
Due to Covid supply issues, I presum... Read moree, costs went up remarkably, and looking around. I found that well known Professional Whey Gold Standard (2.7 kg) was almost same cost as 3 kg of protein delivered. I am able to source Gold Standard from $100 to $120 online or from Costco. The gold standard also includes some essential acids So I gave it a try. I don’t put on any flab around the waist now, have 3 scoops daily, in fact I have lost an inch around the waist, ( 32 inches at age 70) Needless to say I am staying put with Gold Standard, because overall it is price competitive and good for my waist
Shipping process/policy not good enoughSame point as previous reviewer - if they choose to continue using Aramex shipping services then it's their own fault and responsibility for the terrible shipping experience for the customer.
Make no mistake they would be aware of the shipping issues customers have to deal with. Anyone who regularly sends parcels knows the notoriously terrible Aramex/fastway couriers are always going to have delays and issues for customers.
Their shipping policy is essentially saying you as the customer need to deal with it and work it out with the courier ... Read moreyourself. That's not okay when you know many of your parcels will be affected by issues with the courier. Promoting same-day dispatch on the website is implying some kind of fast shipping experience which is misleading given the likeliness of shipping delays with the courier they are using. Some reviews complain about the $12 shipping price which I have no problem with. It's not fair to compare shipping prices between companies, they could always lower the shipping price and increase the product price so just consider the overall price including delivery when comparing. I chose to pay a little extra to buy from professionalwhey, largely due to their details of product info like sourcing which other sites don't disclose. I have bought from them several times over the years but I will no longer use them because of the shipping issues.
Horrible service - Average product Nothing "Professional" about themHopeless customer support, ridiculous shipping times, arrogant replies to enquiries. Why the hell would you use a deleivery company that has over 3,780 1 star reviews and the worst reputation in the courier industry? AND charge $12 ? 2 weeks city to city and still no delivery. PW customer service couldnt give a crap, they have your hard earned $$ now good luck and who cares if your delivery doesnt get to you. Far better product and service on Ebay with 3 day Australia Post satchel delivery. NEVER use this bunch of tw*ts again. Show details
GREAT PRODUCTS... GREAT SERVICEIt took me a while to find Professional Whey as the market is flooded with protein supplements. But If you are looking for quality products at a good price, they have the goods. My first order was way back in 2014 and highly recommend Professional Whey and save you the leg work :-) Show details
Unbeatable quality and value!Excellent range of whey protein powders that not only taste great but have minimal added ingredients to the protein itself. It's even better when the protein is sold at such a competitive price point. This is an easy recommendation to make!
So far I have tried the whey protein concentrate (natural flavour), the whey protein isolate (organic cacao) and the elite 3.0 protein blend (organic cacao) and love all three. I bought the elite 3.0 specifically to use for making healthy brownies :) Show details
By FAR the best value for money protein you will findI found Professional Whey at uni because somehow they have both the highest quality protein AND the best value for money.
As someone who is VERY price-conscious, I've done the maths; The "world's best selling protein" (you know the one) is 77.4% protein on a dry matter basis vs Professional Whey's Aus WPC 81.7%. Professional Whey's bulk pricing brings down the price to HALF of what the competition charges at their max bulk pricing. So basically, more high-quality protein for FAR less money.
Beyond that, every time I've talked to them they've been quick to reply, friendly, and more transparent than I deserve. And of course, Australian-owned, Australian products. Support local and save! Show details
Great productsHave been ordering from Professional Whey for over 8 years and done over 20 orders in that time of various sizes and tried many products. Products are consistent, mix well without any chunks, priced well, shipping is always fast and I have never had any issues. I continue to order through them! Show details
Great Quality/Price/SpeedIt's really hard to find a good NZ grass-fed whey at a reasonable price - This is the best I've found! As a nutritionist and ex-sales rep/supplement store manager I'm most concerned with quality but also on a tight budget so this is perfect for me :) Both delivery and customer service support is super fast as well! Thanks guys, you're the best :) Show details
Slow and costly deliveryThis company should offer free delivery when you spend over a certain amount. I spend on average $150-$200 per order AND $12 on top of that for very bad SLOW delivery. This year, it has taken a crazy 14 days to deliver from Erina to the nearest major capital city for EVERY order. Unacceptable compared to other online suppliers I have used. They sell good quality products, but so do others, and unfortunately, I've had enough and will be switching to a rival company that offers 1) cheaper, faster delivery and 2) FREE delivery on orders over $100 or less.
Best quality out thereThe Cinnamon NZ WPI is the perfect protein for protein oats! Tastes amazing, mixes well and is high quality. The store was easy to navigate and postage was quick! Cant wait to try the other products
Professional Whey: The businessProfessional Whey is a great company in more ways than one. The products are great, the prices are very reasonable and the delivery is fast. The website is user friendly and the information on the website is comprehensive and helps to make decisions more easily. After purchasing products from Professional Whey for the last 7 years I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever and would give Professional Whey an overall rating of 5 stars. Show details
USA Whey Protein IsolateMy mates and I have been buying USA Whey Protein Isolate from Professional Whey for 5years now and find it to be excellent quality and the site easy to navigate. My mate also loves the Cacao.
Seems to take forever to receive your orderGreat products but takes forever to receive. This is an Australian company delivering within Australia. I do other orders on the same day from an international company, I Herb International & I get that order before Professional Whey. How does that work? Show details

Do any of the products require refregeration at any stage (eg. after the packet has been opened) particularly in summer?? Many thanks
No not at all. As this would create moisture in the product.
