No, stay away! Completely overpriced particularly on urgent requirements. We were totally ripped off by them when we called them to replace a hot water system!! Ridiculous price. They take advantage of already turned up and if we didn't sign to go ahead we just get charged for an insane call out fee! That's how they design to rip you off
Stay away from proud.plumbing. paid a call out fee only to be quoted really high. Questioned the Labour rate and parts cost as it didn't add up. I declined the quote asked to speak to the manager with no response. Eventually made contact with them to ask for the call out fee to be refunded and they agreed. After 2 weeks later they said they wouldn't refund until I removed a rating i gave them on another page which I have since updated. Ethically they are not a good business to deal with, very unprofessional and will try to Rip you off.

leak under the slab. The job was quoted as a fixed price, but the paperwork even incorrectly described it as gas, not water. The repair involved piping up the wall, across the ceiling in mismatched material, and down the other side — the result looks like spaghetti junction. During the initial works, a crimp was left off, causing water to spray throughout the ceiling space. Fortunately, my partner was near the meter tap to shut it off. The job was not finished on Day 1 because the trade did not have all required parts, so he had to return the next day. The account $1683 was paid on Day 2. Three days later, my tenant discovered the ground was very wet due to a failed pipe joint. This required repeat attendances, including by [Name Removed] (the co owner), to facilitate remedial work. Despite the job being completed and paid for on Saturday 29th November, I was then issued an additional invoice for $94 — which I did not and will not pay, as the job was quoted as fixed price. That amount has since been withdrawn.
Most concerning was that my partner’s digital signature was reused across multiple quotes and invoices without his consent. He signed one document only, and the reuse of his signature without authorization is unacceptable.
Overall, the experience was disappointing: exorbitant costs, delays due to missing parts, defective workmanship requiring multiple visits, inconvenience to my tenant, water loss, an unexpected invoice after payment, and questionable business practices around signature use. The owner was not conciliatory and should have offered compensation given the ordeal.
Proud plumbing were able to schedule a same day call out and replaced the mixer cartridge in our bath tap. Excellent service, good value for money, reliable. Would not hesitate to call on them again!

Major leak coming from kitchen sink area.Proud Plumbing responded quickly. Trades people were able to fix the broken joint and made a point of clean up the wet area before leaving. Highly recommended and would have no hesitation in using them again.

person who easily did most of the work as the digger, was being paid $30 per hour and I was being charged $179 per hour. I paid $8200 for the job and still had to pay someone nearly $900 to replace the deck boards as well. Proud Plumbing stated they would get back to me when I complained, however still haven't got back to me. Several months now. Apart from this complaint about the charge, I have no other complaints about the work.
My doggo dropped a tennis ball down our ensuite drain. From the initial phone, booking an appointment, being kept up to date with an arrival time through to the completion of the job, I can't fault the service. Both Tom and Keigan were very friendly and professional. They explained the process and the cost upfront. They cleaned up after themselves. Can't ask more in a service. Side note: Doggo is happy to have his tennis ball back!

In March I noticed water coming up from my vinyl tiles in the kitchen. I rang Proud Plumbing and Gas and they sent out 2 young plumbers. Eventually they came back and said there were no leaks detected but would replace the soak well for $4000….which I declined. I paid the $289 for the their visit. Over the next week I explored various avenues to find the source of the water in the kitchen.I eventually got the soak well replaced by another company at a fraction of the cost. However the water was still there. A friend came over one evening and looked under the sink and saw the leak immediately. He called Proud Plumbing numerous times but got no satisfactory result. The next morning at 7.30 I rang Proud Plumbing and was told I had to wait for the supervisor to arrive. The supervisor finally called. Following very unsatisfactory conversation,he was going to send the same 2 plumbers out again. I refused and asked for some one else. Later that morning [Name Removed], from Proud Plumbing, arrived and found a leaking value under the sink. He was very efficient and replaced the leaking valve and also the other valve to be sure there was not an issue. No charge. Interesting I received no apology from Proud Plumbing considering I had been living with water on the kitchen floor for over a week. Also it took that again for the floor to dry out. Hot water system – Guys did a great job. Turned up on time gave me a quote and competed job that day. Good to see there are still some professional companies around these days. Keep up the good work.

were suitable to my needs. All work professionally done and the work areas cleaned up, as if no one had even been there. All waste was taken away. I'll be booking Proud Plumbing & Gas again in the New Year to install a new cooktop.
Great work always – On time, no mess left behind. That included taking up bricks, cleaning toilet room floor from finding tree roots in pipes. Since using Proud plumbing & gas I use no other. Very fair price. As an owner of some 'older' properties Have used them a few times. Small or large jobs, some very difficult... always a top notch job.
