watery and lasagne was extra disappointing. Hardly any filling. Had lemon chicken scallopine last night and husband said the texture of the chicken was as if it was 'compressed'. Naan was excellent and Mediterranean braised chicken was great quality, lamb skewers were good. However, to enjoy only 3 out of about 10 items of 'gourmet' food is unacceptable.
I ordered the Greek Roast family meal for 6 ($300). Everything but the lamb was delivered. A fiasco indeed; ruined my plans for my family Xmas catchup! too small (go figure!!), further deliveries were booked out for the week. I am waiting on a response to my request for a full refund, suggesting they can at their own cost pick up the remaining ingredients! I definitely lost my appetite for the meal and have no there’s in a partial supply, moreover I will never dignify myself to use Providoor again - a total shit show where customer service is by email and takes days on end.

another similar meal, not identified as Gluten free. Appalling and also dangerous. Spent the next couple of weeks dealing with their supposed Customer Help service, which is a “bot”. They wanted me to help them and their documentation process by photographing all the meals, which I did, even though it’s their responsibility to document and check all orders. To make it worse, the two missing orders were for children.
So disappointing that Providoor uses their high profile Chefs, people, to sell their product, yet once there are problems, there are no humans in sight, just AI. Cowardly!
They refuse to redeliver the two missing items from my original order, as they state “ they are unable to arrange a redelivery specifically for very small orders”. Blatant lie, there is no “minimum order” when you order. Further, my original order was over $150, and included 10 items. Further I would have been more than happy to wait for their next big delivery day.
They also refused to refer my issue to an actual person. It’s amazing that they have programmed their “bot” to lie. This opens a huge can of worms, legal worms, doesn’t it !
Still waiting for a call and an honest response. Not forthcoming. What they offered me was a refund or a credit towards a second order. So they want me to reorder, pay their $19 delivery fee, again, and spend more money on their incompetent service, and pedestrian food. All I wanted was the food I ordered.
Have since tried 5 of the meals, and all of them have been “pedestrian” at best, and expensive - definitely Not Gourmet! Won’t be back.
Delivery was also problematic. From the first time frame I was given, the food arrived over 4 hours later, with no real time updates including when the order arrived.
Waste of time and money.

Apparently, Providoor is recently under new management and run by top TV chefs now. The quality of food is excellent, restaurant like, unmatched by other meal delivery providers. Ordered about 20+ different meals now, and only one was disappointing. Given each is 2 portions, it's also good value for money for restaurant quality food. Will be a repeat customer. recommend getting a beef bourguignon with the puree made by Manu! Phenomenal meal! I ended up buying a bunch of them to freeze.
Onion soup, also Manu, reminds me of eating with my mother in France! It's super tasty.
Green curry was decent but not the best I've had. I would get it again though.
Don't trust the negative feedback given here. I'm a cranky southern Italian and I am brutally honest about everything! Especially food! If a few people got 1 poor dish, put that down to bad luck. I've ordered so many times now and have never had any issues.

Long story short I've just been told by them that they delivered the order despite my clear instruction and that will now be sitting and rotting on my porch in the summer heat for several weeks. Ordered a delivery from Providoor, went to cook the Chicken Korma Kebabs and they smelled so bad that I had to light candles in my house to get rid of the smell. Clearly the chicken was off! Time of delivery unacceptable – Frozen goods delivered at 12.45am. The text on got the day before said 3.15 to 4.15 pm. Items were starting to thaw out and being on my own this order was suppose to last me over a week or two. I only relised the oder was at my front door about 10.00 am

With regard to the Mushroom Risotto, we found the taste unpleasant and inedible so had to bin it. I understand this is only our opinion and others may think different but I can only review on what we experienced.

liabilities of the business were sold by the previous owner to the new owner. The response I received indicated that: Our owner acquired only the Providoor business name, branding, and social media assets. The original company and its liabilities, including any outstanding gift cards, were not part of the purchase.
In my opinion, if you purchase the name and the branding, you are purchasing the good will of the company. Not honouring vouchers destroys that good will. Will not be recommending to friends.
Bad Experience – Won’t use again. No Customer Service. Emailed numerous times with no response. Delivered one of 2 orders to incorrect address. Broccoli (x3) was inedible. Some items in the Christmas meal ordinary - for premium price charged.

Christmas bundle issues – We were extremely upset, we ordered a 4 person Christmas bundle that had not arrived at the expected time. Unable to contact anyone in person. times, twice to request a refund. There has been no response or communication at all. This has been a very disappointing experience and incredibly unprofessional.
UPDATE: No further communication or follow up from Providoor to my emails. However another text was received the following Saturday night stating delivery the following day. Luckily we were home that weekend as we were meant to be away. Meal box was delivered during the allocated time slot, and when the gate bell was rung, we answered immediately and unlocked the gate. When we went to meet the delivery driver there was no one there. Meal box has been dropped outside our gate (on a main road). There are multiple ways this could have gone wrong and we would have been left with thawed meals or the meal box taken.
Again, no response to my concerns and request for refund, and then to have the meal box arrive 4 days later on a Sunday with no opportunity to refuse it, is extremely unprofessional. The entire experience has left a very sour taste in my mouth and, no we have not eaten the meals as I don’t know if they have been refrozen becoming being delivered or not.
It's a risk and a gamble – Positives - I received all but one item in my order and they respond most of the time. partial refund to cover the missing item. Their reply conveniently ignored my request and asked whether I wanted the missing item delivered. I replied declining the delivery and insisting the refund. I still have yet to receive a response. Unfortunately this type of communication is not the only instance of poor communication I have experienced from.
Given the fact that the order is 395, I would expect better communication. Take home message is - order from them if your ok with taking the risk of losing money for the chance of getting your order.
Don't do it – Not good enough 4 out of 5 items received for my order. Missing two lasagnes@Providoor Unable to speak with anyone and will never use again absolutely pathetic. Warning to consumers reconsider using @Providoor you may not get all your items or something worst may occur for a big occasion. Don't take the chance. Disappointment on my birthday #neveragain.
