being pricked by sharp spikes. (we have a little toddler and they couldn’t sit on it without getting marked and a rash from the sharp spikes) Pure n Bright claimed it was a fibre in the rug, Provincial living assured me the rug was 100% wool (it’s a very expensive rug) Pure n Bright said this was wrong and it was a fibre in the rug that came out from cleaning. This is 100% factually wrong. They cleaned it again and retuned it saying it was fixed, it was only worse. 4 months later, constantly following up, we went to take our matter to VCAT as all we wanted was our rug back. If we never pursued their services, we would have our rug as normal. We had a replacement rug provided after months of defending and backing ourselves, and seeking advice that we had every right to receive a replacement rug for Pure n Bright cleaning.

Pure n Bright will reply to this saying it was a rug issue, that they did everything they could to assist us in replacing this, that they successfully completed their services and have never had this issue before. The facts are – the rug was made from 100% wool, it took 4 months of us chasing Pure n Bright, they did nothing to assist us, they didn’t even communicate with their insurer correctly, delaying this whole process by months. They didn’t successfully complete their service because they completely destroyed our item.

Would recommend a reputable company, was a horrible and stressful experience.

job properly and I’ll have to hire someone to stretch the carpet. The carpet dried completely 2 days later and flatten on its own. As a professional carpet cleaning company, how would you not have the knowledge that this is common (as opposed to what they told me) and will flatten when it dried. I wouldn’t stress so much if I was given the reassurance at the start. Before and after pictures, receipt were not provided as promised on the phone. And the second problem is the odour treatment that was completed according to them but not to me as the smell is still strong and in fact worsen after the treatment. I wasn’t given any explanation on this matter.

Did a very good job cleaning a very damaged and soiled rug - including fast response and convenient pick-up and delivery. Only caveat - be sure you provide full details on the item to be cleaned and ask for an accurate quote up front. My actual cost was 2+ times what was quoted on the phone. There were good reasons why - but I needed to know that up front. Show reply

Returned rug was damp – Friends recommended this company - their experience was positive and they were glowing in their assessment so when it came to cleaning my own rugs how could I not give them a go? weeks earlier. Very apologetic and regretful when I contacted the company but it simply shouldn't have happened. Would I use them again? Would have to think about it I'm afraid.

Clever ruse – Rug clean. Underquoted. Rug is back, doesn't look any different and doesn't smell like it's been cleaned at all. I had to vaccum the spots where dust always accumulates. I find it hard to believe it was cleaned. Maybe I should open a business that says it cleans rugs but simply stores it in the garage for 2 weeks and then drops it back and charges you $100 more than quoted.

Predatory and misleading business practices – Literally the worst and most predatory customer experience I have ever had. This business underquoted me via email (despite having all details including size and materials of the products I wanted cleaned). The guy who turned up charged me more than double what I was quoted. I left a review after, which they responded to by threatening legal action for leaving a “fake review” - so I emailed them. They eventually emailed back and after over a month of back and forth, didn’t offer a refund of the $200 they had ripped me off but bribed me with $50 to remove my review.

False, misleading and predatory business practices and the quality of the clean was mediocre at best.

Recommend engaging literally any other business instead of this one :)

Great cleaning job – Had a rug cleaned that was more than 20 years old and pretty grubby. It came back after the clean and looked great. Timely pick up and delivery and the price was reasonable given what a decent rug costs new these days.

Brought my rugs back to new! – I had two heavily stained rugs cleaned by Pure N Bright. They had both been steam cleaned which was not successful in removing all the stains. The cleaning undertaken by Pure N Bright removed all grime and stains and returned them to brand new. The only negative was that it took multiple weeks to have them cleaned and returned, but really a small issue considering the outstanding results. Show details

Great job! – We had one rug that hadn’t been cleaned for 6 years. Purenbright collected cleaned and delivered. The rug was like new! A great job. And very helpful. Highly recommended.

Sometimes dreams come true – l contacted Pure N Bright in the hope of getting my rug cleaned as friends were coming in a week to stay. The turnaround was between 7-10 days. say the driver was sick!!!!! but if l did not mind, they have found a driver with a car to deliver. The rug was delivered 2hours before our friends came. The poor guy carried it up the hill, not knowing the area. The rug looks like new!!!!! The service, receptionist, the organiser and delivery guy, all a delight. Fantastic service.

Rug almost looks like new! – I wasn’t confident on the outcome I’d get due to the fact my rug was a viscose/wool blend. This was the first time washing after buying it 6years ago and I am really impressed with the result. Excellent service and results – Had a badly ( pet ) stained heavy rug...picked up from home, cleaned to perfection and delivered to my home again...even though I live in East Brighton and the business is in Pakenham.
