Cheap globes don't work – Bought a globe for my benq projector and was told it was like genuine.....didn't work asked them to take it back for refund they refused. Fast and spot on – The website was good but when I rang them I got expert service - in fact without these guys and the same day service where I could pick up the "chip" I'd be facing double the cost and a 2 month wait.

not a problem – I ordered some replacement globes, (that were a third cheaper than the other retailer) they were in my hands 24 hours later, Sydney to Brisbane. I am happy and will use pureglare again.

absolute shonk – after the second lamp for my Sony tv failed within a 3 mth period I sought a refund. The seller refused and said he was told by the ACCC he didn't have to after a 2 mth period. I complained to dept of fair trading and was refunded full price. What a lying sod selling generic rubbish. Avoid at all costs!!!!!

Not as advertsied – I purchased a globe from Pure Glare and decided on the more expensive "Original Globe" as advertised on their web site. The globe arrived the next day, sweet but I was suspicious as their globe and housing didn’t match the original one in my projector. Some research on the forums alerted me too late in my case to never use after-market lamps and housings and when I emailed Pure Glare, they replied that it was never advertised as “original as they cost over $500, however if I return the lamp they will refund me.” My problem is the lamp and housing was destroyed by the burn out and then by me having to break it to get it out.

So I haven’t even sent the broken pieces back but buyer be warned if you order a projector lamp make sure it’s an original.

Terrible Customer Service – The description of this product stated original globe and housing. I opened the package and after touching base with PureGlare via email (the phone wasn't being answered) I was told only the globe was the original/genuine part not the housing. stated on the product description, I have removed a tab like that before and the product wouldn't function. They refuse to give me a refund, saying they do not refund for change of mind. This isn't change of mind, this is the result of PureGlare not being upfront on the product description on their website.

Worst business – The product was sent to me damaged, upon sending it back I got told I wasn’t getting a replacement or a refund and instead got told I would have to pay to get the original, damaged product sent back to me. Worst customer service, they are aggressive and don’t even take you opinion into account. Don’t bother it’s not worth it. You can find a better product elsewhere with a company that will honour there legal obligations.

Faulty product, Nasty service – Was told i'd get a full refund, was yelled at after, then was told i might not even get a refund. Do not use this site, they are rip offs and nasty.

Exellent – have dealt with pureglare a couple of times now and they have been great. i don't understand some people with there reviews there are things called restocking fee thats probably what you are charged or i have found lamps never last the real hours manufactures state unless you run them in crap quality mode to extend life.

Crappiest Customer Service and won't Refund despite saying they would – Bought a p[ropjector lamp. them to take off a handling postage fee. Clearly they could have re-sold but obviously just dont care about their customers. Anyeays hen i buy my new projector and then need a new lamp - guess who i WONT be buying it from?

Fantastic Service – My projector lamp failed on the Sunday before Christmas so I needed to source another ASAP. No joy here in Perth so a friend suggested I contact PureGlare. The result is that I ordered Monday and the lamp arrived Wednesday. Disaster averted!! On top of that the globe was 40% cheaper than other outlets AND was an original part. Enough said!!

Great prices, questionable practices – I found PureGlare to have the product that I had chosen at the best price. Unfortunately the description did not indicate the lights cabling - but this I blame the manufacturer not PureGlare. few days I reminded them and I recieved $30 less than I had paid. Fifteen dollars for the freight is understandable but the extra cost is new to me.

269 days is not acceptable ....buy a better product – 269 days from the time i purchase the lamp, it goes out , these lamps are supposed to last 4,000 hrs. The original bulb lasted 6 years , this tv is located in the bedroom and sees limited used , not satisfied with the results from the lamp from Pureglare.com...after further online research i found the best option is to order the Philips OEM… Read more

i guess after reading some of the other reviews i should consider myself "lucky" it lasted that long ....i will take my chance with the $88.00 bulb and hope it will last longer than this unit did some times cheaper is not a better solution.... at the time it was "cheaper" than the OEM unit not durable , will not last

Good Customer Service - Inferior Products – Very helpful over the phone and speedy delivery. The replacement globe was installed and worked correctly with little effort. However..
