Horrible service – I had a car accident 11 months ago where my car was written off by the third party in a carpark where the speed limit is 5km/h. I gave all my info within a month and the person confirmed they received it all and told me they had to access police report and the third parties info before they could continue. saying they had never recieved my info, so I sent it again along with requesting they access the security footage and got it confirmed they had it all, and would grab the footage. A few weeks later they reached out again saying they still hadn't recieved it. I sent it all AGAIN to a different person because at this point they changed my claims officer without letting me know. It took them another SIX months to get back to me which is when they claimed once again that I still hadn't sent all my info. I sent it all yet again and requested my claims officer (who I had never spoken to before) call me back as she was unavailable at the time, this was on a Friday morning. I never recieved a call and instead recieved an email on the Monday morning (less than 48hrs of office hours) claiming I was at fault but yet stated they still hadn't accessed the police report, the footage I requested or the third parties info, even though from the start they said they need all of this to come to a decision. I followed up with a complaints officer who STILL didn't access anything I requested/what they said they NEEDED to complete this claim. I asked once again how this is possible and to please obtain all of this but have yet to recieve a response and it's been a month now. These are only the main things I'm mentioning, there were a lot more issues with one of the people I spoke to saying they can access the police report and yet at the exact same time, receiving an email saying they couldn't obtain it and I would have to. This went back and forth for weeks and was finally confirmed by my original claims officer that they could indeed access it and would need to, yet here we are. Absolutely terrible service with no communication or help. I would never recommend QBE to anyone.

Crap company, worst experience – Plz don't go with them. If you want trouble in your life only then go with this insurance company. My car is with them and I have been waiting for claim resolution since 8 months which is not yet resolved and god knows how many years they will take to resolve it. They reply you after a month or 2 and never pick up calls either. Worst experience ever in Australia. Worst company!!! I made a big mistake going with them. Show details
