Quick and easy quotation process and then followed up with a no fuss completion for acceptance and payment. Very competitive price for my make/model car but as always the price for different vehicles can be higher and I had to insure my other vehicle with a competitor. Show reply

The worst insurance experience. Not recommended at all. Have been paying premiums for 5 years and lodged a small claim. The company booked a rental car for repairs in Brisbane to be picked up from Adelaide. Staff doesnot have a clue what they are doing. Waited for the manager for 30 minutes - no response. Show details

I had my car hit while parked out the front of home and the driver absconded. I did everything I could to find some evidence but because it was night time nobody was able to help me. QBE comprehensive car insurance provides the consumer with many options so that one can choose the level of cover they need. I found them to be very cost effective when compared to other leading insurance providers. Subscribing for the policy online was so comfortable with an incentive of AUD75 for signing up online. Took them five months to finalise a fairly basic claim- constantly wanted 'evidence' then would ignore it for eg, $2500 artwork/ photographs etc bought 20 years ago depreciated to $300. for it all over again. Never in all my days have I been so disheartened or frustrated with dealing with multiple people (most with the same surname) and days and days would pass with nothing..... I took leave to try and sort it out and that was wasted- in the end accepted a figure just to be done with them. I could not have had a worse experience if I had made it up - noting everyone had the last name 'singh' I am not even clear who was doing what and if they were real people half the time.

Worst company to deal with …paid for green slip for my motorcycle and QBE took the payment twice from account . Once I complain they told me that they will refund me my money asap ….5 days after still waiting ..no apologise ..no compensation for their mistake . Insurance is something you rely on during already difficult times. Unfortunately, this experience made an already stressful situation much worse.

My vehicle was vandalised and QBE denied a claim by accusing me of misrepresentation….which is not accurate.

I selected No when answering a question about a previous incident ….thinking that it’s based on when the incident occurred, but they have said it’s based on when the incident was finalised (which was several months later and within their 3-year period of disclosure)

Just a typical technicality and company who did not care when I needed the support. And quite frankly has left me feeling hopeless three months later

I like I could see the price online without having to give out my personal contact details. I really hate when you fill something out and then they don't tell you the price and get someone to call you and try to upsell. Also and a BIG also. It is the lowest excess price I could get and one of the best price policy I could get but if you put choice of repairer then it becomes expensive. I do have compulsory third party with QBE and intend to keep it with them. Show details ·  1

I’ve had to do two claims in the last 6 months one for a kangaroo and the other for hail. Both claims were handled poorly. My first claim my car left from the repairer still not drivable due to damage that happened at the repairer that Qbe tried to fight me on. Had to go through AFCA whilst waiting for that to be handled my car was damaged by… Read more

hail. 3 months later my car still hasn’t been assessed because the repairer they picked is 5 hours from where I live and Qbe doesn’t want to pay for the tow truck there for my car to be assessed . So after lodging another complaint with AFCA for this claim to get my car assessed I had to send photos of my car so they could assess it and agreed it was a total loss. Yet it seems tho Qbe departments dont communicate with each other because here I am still waiting for this [Content Removed] show to end. Because apparently their assessor didn’t know my car was a total loss . Incompetent unprofessional insurer. Take your money else where the hassle of Qbe isn’t worth the money you save insuring with them!
