grippy exterior, in March and by June I had dropped the phone and cracked the screen. The Quadlock has really poor edge protection for a curved screen phone. Now I'm out $600 for a new screen and will be looking for a different, more robust screen protector.

The plastic material lacks the rigidity and durability of glass, making it virtually useless for anyone looking for serious screen protection. The worst part is the misleading advertising, which gave the impression I was getting glass protectors. Unfortunately, I feel stuck with these plastic ones now, and it leaves me really frustrated, as they don't provide the level of protection I need for such an expensive device. The device failed and I lost my phone – I bought a quad lock for my bicycle to hold hold my phone while bike Packing. It worked OK for a few days then the locking device failed, the spring on the locking device did not sring back and lock. I was pushing my bicycle over some bumpy ground and my phone fell off and I did not notice for an hour. I took the handle bar mount off and it still sticks. Had my iPhone 17 Pro Max fall off the quad lock mount with proper case mid ride, it was checked prior to departure and the second time it’s occurred. Quad lock blamed me for it and the response was very average. iPhone 17 pro max users beware, possible issue here.

not going to bother to replace the magnetic ring, just going to find a different solution
2nd issue : suction cup on window mounting phone holder fails in extreme heat and doesn’t hold to windscreen. Absolutely fails 100% of the time if the car site in the sun all day. For work purposes mine sits outside in an open air secure car park for 8 hours and by the end of it the phone holder lost suction and I find it on the floor. Ref picture attached.
3rd issue: purchased a wireless charging unit with a sticky pad that supposed to stick to your dash. Well that only lasted about 6 months and then started to peal away and fail.
At this stage I’m reluctant to purchase yet another phone holder of some sort from quad lock.
Thank God that my motor bike quad lock phone holder is pretty much failure proof so that actually gets 5 stars. Just frustrating that I can’t find a good solution for my 2018 Audi S3….. the search continues for a solution….

returned my first case because the magnet ring literally fell off the case with the first use, and was within 12hrs of purchase. SuperCheap Auto were so rude about replacing it. I got a replacement, however 3 months later my and my daughters are both doing the same thing again - the magnet keeps loosening/detaching. This means the phone frequently flies off the car mount while driving, which is unsafe, distracting, and dangerous.
Safety hazard: If this keeps happening on roads, it could easily cause a crash — or cost me a fine/accident because I’d be trying to catch my phone from under my feet and my $3000 phone has also had damage to it from flying off the mount.
Customer service was unhelpful: I went through a retailer and was refused a replacement or refund (Supercheap Auto). The staff I dealt with were dismissive and rude.
I’ve seen other customers report the magnet ring detaching or weak magnetic hold too, which suggests this might be a broader quality issue.
At this stage I can’t recommend this product. A mount that can’t reliably hold your phone in a car is a real safety concern.

I've tried all four USB ports in my 2019 Mitsubishi Triton which I've never had any issues with and still have the same issue with it not working. I've installed a brand new QC 3.0 USB port which is more then enough to power the wireless charger and still I'm having the exact same issues. I've tested all the USB ports in my Trition and all are working flawlessly yet quad lock will not accept my responses nor this information and want me to uninstall the wireless charger and take it into my home to test with a charger inside and take a video for them even though the only phone I have is the one id have to use to take this video so how do I do this? Oh they say get a friend to come over and help me. I'm beyond frustrated with quad locks customer service and the fact their product is faulty yet they keep saying it's a issue with my USB ports which tells me who ever is helping me is not understanding the fact I've tested my USB ports and upgraded one and all are working flawlessly it's not an issue with anything but the product I paid for and they refuse to honour with a replacement. I will not be buying anything else from this company and will let everyone know exactly how they deal with customers.
Zero stars. Absolute rubbish phone cases. We’ve had FOUR of the cases now that have had the magnet come completely off onto the quad lock car phone charger. I contacted Quadlock to see if they would assist with repair costs ($499.00) and they declined saying that they don't guarantee against ALL falls, in other words, NO falls. To say I'm disappointed in the product for not stacking up to the advertised specs and in the company for not supporting their product, is an understatement. I trusted and supported a home grown Aussie company only to be let down on two fronts. Looks like its back to Chinese made products for me. issue was rectified with a replacement, not only did they replace the Quadlock device but upgraded it to the new one. Absolutely amazing Service and product.

it just gave way. No force. While it worked it was great just do not expect longevity. My wife purchased the same product earlier and again it was great while it worked. Now, after 2 years it just falls off regardless of how closely I follow the comapanies instructions on how to fix the problem. If the longevity issue could be solved then I would recommend this product and perhaps even buy another one.

Great, well I wanted a case, not an entire ecosystem of Quadlock things.
How can they say it is MagSafe compatible when it doesn't work with MagSafe... only their style of MagSafe.
The last bit I was fed was that this is an issue only with the newer iPhone 15's. Well, if this is the case then the Quad Lock iPhone 15 MagSafe compatible case should not have been created and sold.
Look elsewhere and spend the money on something that works.
Follow-up · This issue affects all model iPhones with MagSafe charging. Quadlocks “MagSafe” cases only charge with quadlocks chargers/docks. I bought it online through their website. They have since added clearer language (via a *note) about this once I noted I would make a complaints to the consumer watchdog.
I purchased Quad Lock case and Purple ring. Excellent product. Easy to use. Only one thing to suggest is more colours in the cases would be fab (need a girlie selection). Deliver was quick too.
Follow-up · The locking mechanism is magnetic and very strong too. The purple ring is just decoration, a different colour then just all black. The case is very durable. Overall great product.

Julie Z from support got back and said it looks like the PC and TPU components have separated which should not happen with everyday use. Send me your details and we will send a replacement. No questions, no third degree. Anyway I sent the details and within an hour had received an order notification.

Bought the Quad lock wireless charging motorcycle mount for my Samsung Galaxy device. I bought the device after researching the best product that would suit my requirements. Disappointingly after working for the first ride, the product failed and never worked again. Really disappointed in the product as this should have lasted for quite some time and a waste of $180. Normally I would have expected better quality products from this brand.
Innovative yet very over-priced goods that break easily. The mag case magnetic ring falls out the very first time you use it with a magnet mount. Customer service doesn't respond but sales are very quick to sell you a new one. Show details

Seems to be a problem, with magnetic Phone case discs, constantly coming off cases , also windscreen mounts are a pain always falling off windscreen, also warranty/Faulty Products support team, seem to hinder you before they Help! happy with most of their products. some let them down !
