Omg it's the easiest stroller I've used to push around ! – Been looking for a stroller mostly to take in holidays an quick trips to the shops, out of all my prams and strollers and I have a few :-) this is the easiest to manuver, so light weight an comfortable to push. Our daughter loves zipping around in it, she is nearly two an loves how she can get in an out, she can see out the sides of the sun shade… Read more
as it has windows an has a peekabook window for me which is perfect to keep an eye on her, five point harness very comfortable with long shoulder pads, easy to collapse an open after a few goes you get the hang of it, not much storage but not an issue with me looking to get an under basket for the stroller, brake is easy to use just one press with your foot no messing around trying to flick it like other strollers, easy wipe clean material, it's a must for every mum on the go !
Great stroller – I bought the Quinny Zapp Xtra folding seat for use in my car and love it... hardly ever use my other pram now... It folds easily, has a decent enough carry tray for a few items (not many, though), is sturdy, has a great sized sun canopy and snaps together easily. Its seat is reversible, which is great... but folds in only one direction, which is… Read more
a bit of a pain if you want to position it in baby facing mode.
The new model folds with the seat attached, which is great... The adjustable seat incline is really wonderful... wish all prams had that feature.
I WISH the wheels were rubber, not plastic, as getting up gutters and across rougher terrain isn't easy. Also, I wish that the handlebars were one big bar rather than two handles, but really, it's fine. The handles aren't adjustable, which makes it a bit of a stoop for taller people, but for a car or travel pram, it's really very, very, very good.
The only other negative is the puzzle piece closure... unnecessary and a bit of a fiddle. Easy fold, adjustable seat incline is so simple, comfortable for bub. Hard plastic wheels make for a bumpy ride on rougher terrain, one length handles make it tough for tall people, twin handles instead of a handlebar, puzzle piece closure.
Good – I'm really happy with my Quinny. I bought this in anticipation for our trip to Thailand, 2nd hand off Ebay for $160 but have seen it in the stores for $249. I did a lot of research online before I purchased this and my other consideration was the Swift mountain buggy (but too bulky when folded). I was happy with the way the Quinny performed… Read more
throughout our trip to KL, Phuket and Bangkok. My 14mth old girl seemed comfty, although she did slide down it a bit. We figured that to go out for dinner we'd feed her and then walk the streets until she fell asleep. I bought a shade/mossie net from Target which fitted the Quinny and covered my little girl over while we had dinner and cocktails. Bangkok is not pram friendly but we still got around with a lot of lifting the pram up and down and the Quinny withstood it all. It was easy to take on public transport, taxis and tuk tuks.
The folding up and down of the Quinny wasn't a problem for us, even my himbo husband can do it!
I have 2 prams, the other is a Urban mountain buggy - both I love. Small, compact, easy to steer, travel bag is great No basket (so I bought a netted basket to go underneath the seat and a carrier that connects to each of the handle bars to hold a wallet, phone & bottles etc) and each time I've checked my bags in at the airport the pram has weighed between 8.7 - 9.5kgs so too heavy for carry on. I think it's too large for carry on anyway, especially with a nappy bag, my bag and a pillow and a child on my hip (well I used a side sling to keep my hands free)
Bad – dont buy it, your wasting your money!! I think there is better options out there now in the way of smaller prams. The only pro i have about this pram is the small fold. EVERYTHING. allow yourself an extra 15mins when going out with this pram to unfold it, then another 15 to fold it again, the raincover is useless, the pram is flimsy, doesnt like any bit of rough terrain.
A great package – This is a stroller that goes from birth into the toddler years. I had my mother inlaw hail it out from the u.s.a as it wasn't avaliable in Australia at the time I bought mine. We've all bought a pram which is more suited to an infant, then we all later purchased a stroller when our bubs got older , reducing the heavy bulky pram. This package… Read more
does it all ! Large canopy with side vision panel for bub so it doesn't feel closed in. Compact fold. Fully reclines and can be positioned facing you or forwards to see the world. It's very light weight and extremely easy to steer. The rain cover merely slips on from the foot end and slides up being secured by the recline leaver- no horrible Velcro or straps. The wheels are big enough that going over rough services such as grass etc it's an issue. There Is no foot rest so tall toddlers aren't crushed up and can dandgle their feet and be protected from the ground The frame fold can be a little trick to learn but once you've got it -it's a breeze. For parents over 5ft7inch the handles maybe a little low
Excellent – LOVE the zapp!!! I wouldnt have it as my one and only stroller but it is fantastic for quick trips to the shop and the school run. My son is 8 months and is fine in it, I dont think I would put a younger baby in one. Its lovely to steer one handed aswell. The main thing is, it does what it was designed to do beautifully!! - Nice to steer, easy one… Read more
handed
- Folds up really small, fits in the foot well of my car
- Looks cool
- Comes in nice colours - When I bought my zapp it was faulty I took it back, they opened 2 more in the store, also faulty different problems!! The 4th one opened was fine.
- No recline
- No storage (bought basket off ebay)
- Easy to tip
Excellent – I am very glad I got my Zapp in time for a trip to Melbourne & first use was a 20 minute walk to the zoo which was great, old pram had expired so needed a transportable easy stroller to take son through the next few months. I don't drive so really still prefer a pram for as long as agreeable and he LOVES the Quinny. Great for older kids as no… Read more
bar on front to have to squash little legs under. Raincover useless as velcro strap not long enough to tie together so would just flap about. Old one from previous pram fits fine. Ditto storage, just bought a $7 net bag that attaches neatly to back of stroller, holds wallet & reasonable amount of light gear so no issues there. Just not one for BIG shopping. Please don't overload as might tip. Not a bargain, but not ridiculously dear either at well under $300 (keep eye out for net deals). Get one if you are not quite ready to have your little tearway powering under their own steam the whole time. Nice wide load, up to 25kg no problem (no other stoller out there seems to offer that. Strange lack in market really). Cheers! Excellent comfortable fit for my 3 and a half year old who still loves to be chauffered around. Great carry bag for travelling (packed bubble wrap in with in to protect it on the plane). One handed steer. A bit hard to fold, rain cover useless, no storage (but as designed for bigger kids, probably don't need to encourage any extra weight on pram).
OK – I wouldn't but it if I had my time again. Umbrella style strollers are easier to put up and down and usually recline making use in smaller babies easier. They claim it can be taken as carry on luggage. This isn't that practical when you have a baby to carry on top of a folded pram. I have never been permitied to take in on any way. It is… Read more
great if like me at the time you drive a three door hatch and need a small option Takes up very little boot room, which is great when travelling and those with small hatchbacks. Steers like a dream due to the 3 wheel set up. Good quality material and wheels means it is still looking good after 2 kids. The kids love how well they can see about at what is happening. No storage under the seat, this is a pain as hanging bags off the push handles means it can topple backwards. The seat doesn't recline so is useless for small babies. Expensive
Excellent – This stroller is amazingly small when folded, so very easy to travel with. I've carried the stroller onboard planes, and it is great to have with you in the airport. Does not recline but not a problem with toddlers. Gorgeous styling. Amazing small fold. Travel Bag. a bit tricky to put up and down, but not too bad once you get the hang of it.
Great stroller – I am a bit of a pram addict, which flows onto strollers. I had been lemming the Zapp for ages and then saw it 33% off, so MIL bought it for second baby. Lightweight, easy to fold and unfold (with a bit of practice), looks comfortable for baby. Great for travel. Size, and 'look' No storage and no seat liner available - bought a phil and ted's one
Excellent – I bought this as a secondary stroller and it is perfect as that. It's not meant for long walks or for carrying loads of shopping, it's meant to go where your other all-terrain beast of a stroller won't. Great investment as I'll be able to use it to carry a capsule for baby number 2...wish I'd known about it when I was pregnant with number 1. My… Read more
19 year old brother took one look at it and said "woah! it looks like a race car!" so very much daddy/uncle/grandpa appropriate. SO incredibly compact when folded. Light weight. I can easily manouver it and baby onto the bus. Doesn't scream "I couldn't afford a real stroller!" like other umbrella strollers. Handles sooo smoothly...fantastic suspension for such a lightweight stroller. Can spin 360 degrees in my hallway! It's advertised as being appropriate for babies from 6 months of age but the straps are too high for a baby that young. I have to pad out the seat so my [not exactly small!] baby doesn't slump down. I'd say perfect for a 12month old.
Good – I like the Zapp, I bought it for travel and as a pram for our 2nd car, a small hatchback. It's been great at both these purposes. However I would not recommend it as your only stroller unless your child is past daily pram rides. Our son is 6 months old and doesn't seem to mind being in it, but does slouch in it and when he falls asleep I have… Read more
to push it tipped backward to stop his head falling forward due to the lack of recline. Luckily I've only had to do this once while we were interstate as we have a larger pram for daily use.
It is an excellent travel stroller though, so light weight and compact I have had it in over head lockers and managed it, bags and my son alone throughairports many times. I do recommend buying the basket for it. Super compact, ultra manuverable, great push. No recline, no storage at all, can tip on inclines or with a bag on back. The fold is a little awkward.
Excellent – This stroller is highly recommended. It comes complete with rain cover, sun shade and travel bag. It folds very compact and was very practical when we recently travelled o/seas. If your baby is on the small side he or she may sag down the seat harness a bit but I am sure they will grow into it quickly, nevertheless it didn't seem to bother our… Read more
baby (10 months old). The stroller pushes so well, even with on hand which is a must for me! It has no basket or storage of any kind and they are non-existent to buy in Australia and from overseas too expensive. You can hang your nappy bag off the back however only if it's light and even then you still need to be very mindful of possible tipping. It also affects to sun shade a bit when you hang the bag off it. The sun shade is good, but a hat does the job even better whilst baby is young. Colour choice is excellent, very stylish looking stroller, price I found was good considering the extras and what it offers. I was a bit worried because some reviewers had said it was hard to push on cobblestone, I didn't find this at all! This stroller got a beating on rough terrain and still looks like new!! Buy it!! Funky design, easy to push, folds small and ideal for travel No storage basket
Find out how Quinny Zapp compares to other 3-Wheel Prams & Strollers
Know better, choose better.
Excellent – I bought this as a stroller for my 2.5 yo. Previously owned a large 4WD pram, a 3Wheel pram and even a 'normal' umbrella stroller. Decided to look for the smallest & strongest stroller to hold my toddler - the Quinny Zapp is worth every penny even though it was almost as expensive as all my other bulky prams!!! So easy to maneuver with 1 hand,… Read more
folds an packs in 3 moves and don't have to fight with it like I did with the others! Love it and will recommend it to anyone!!!! Lightweight, so easy to maneuver, small and fits into boot with loads of space remaining. No other small stroller compares!!! No storage, but got over this with basket purchase on Ebay
Excellent – I love this stroller have had it for 2 1/2 years with 2 kids being able to use it. Bit on the pricey side, but definantly worth it. Has been all over the world with us and is still in great condition..There are no serious scratches on the frame and is easy to clean..I added a stroller caddy to it and a simple stroller net pocket which has given me… Read more
storage space. Looks great and is so light! Purchased this stroller for my 6 month old when we were travelling, he enjoyed it and slept in often. Was able to carry on board aircraft as it fit perfectly in the overhead compartment. Easy to fold and great to push. No recline position, no storage area, sunshade bit flimsy,
Good – A great travel stroller and it is truly something that can be carried on board an international aircraft (not sure about all domestic aeroplanes with smaller overhead bins and carry on baggage allowances). However the fact the harness can't be adjusted makes it very annoying to use for my baby even though we comply with the age requirements.… Read more
Incredibly compact. Excellent suspension and steering. Pretty light for what you get. Fantastic for travelling and takes up hardly any room when folded in the carry case. Perfect stroller to keep in the boot of the car or take on holidays. Only pram I could find that genuinely fit in the overhead lockers of 747 aeroplanes (the Quicksmart 4 wheeler is very compact but too square when folded to fit into the lockers). Quite a good sun visor for the size of the pram. Good brakes. Overall a very nice ride. No basket of any type, not even a pocket on the back of the pram. I have taken the advice to buy a basket off Ebay and it is definitely worth doing. Handles are not adjustable which makes them too short for me (I'm 5 foot 10 inches). No recline of any type.
Although the stroller is designed for kids that are 6 months plus, my 7 month old daughter who is in the 95th centile for length is not long enough for the stroller. The side straps and crotch part of the 5 point harness is not adjustable at all (only the two top straps that go over the bub's arms are adjustable), and is far too long for her, so she slumps down significantly into the stroller. I have had to resort to padding out the crotch with a rolled up nappy. Not a fantastic look! But she is slumping so much it is not possible to go without something.
Terrible – It was a white elephant. My baby just hates it. Screams whenever he was put in it. The seat is uncomfortable and cannot recline. Light weight, stylish, easy to manovre seat only in 1 position. No cross bar. Seat uncomfortable for babies. No storage space.
Good – Although a little expensive, this pram is well worth the money. It is very lightweight (weighing approx 7kg), great for travelling, takes up minimal space in the boot of a car, and is sooooo easy to manouver. Not really suited for younger babies, but maybe from 12 months onwards. Fantastic lightweight stroller that is very easy to use. It folds… Read more
up easily and small, and comes with its own carry bag. We used this stroller on an overseas holiday with lots of flights, so the carry bag was great as it stopped the stroller getting damaged while in the hold of the plane. Although the seat doesn't recline, my 1year old was find and still slept well in it. He now doesn't like being put into our umbrella stroller and having the seat reclined (when I think he's ready for a sleep!!) We also purchased the sleeping bag/footmuff for it, which was great for a European winter. Nice and thick and snuggly. We could easily fold the pram with the sleeping bag still attched, and it also still fitted (although a little tight) into the carry bag. Doesn't have a carry basket. The seat doesn't recline so not suitable for smaller babies. My son was 11months old when he first used it, and was ok but took a little getting used to. 1 month later after using it daily while on holiday he was much better.
Good – I only bought this as it was the only stroller on the market that would fold and fit in to the boot of my car. BUT, having said that, my 2 year old son loves it. He sits really comfortably in it. I would only use a stroller for emergency shopping trips anyway, and this suits that job perfectly. It's basic, easy to use, stylish and lightweight.… Read more
Everything I needed in a stroller. COmpact - fits in the boot of my VW Beetle Cabriolet with room to spare for some shopping bags. Lightweight so doesn't break my back. My son sits comfortably in it and feels like he is still involved in everything. Funky design. Great harness. Easy to steer. No storage. Minimal canopy / sun protection. A little noisy. VERY expensive for what it is.
Good – For travelling and quick trips to shops - fantastic! Harder for baby to sleep as no recline position but am not unhappy with my purchase. Very compact, great for travelling, easy to put up and down, fantastic to push, glides easily Only one position - no recline so best for older babies - my 8 month old not quite comfortable in it yet. No carry basket but you can buy them from overseas dealer on e-bay
Excellent – I really have loved this stroller, I have used mine for 2 and half years and still going strong. My son loves it. It really is a strong simple stroller and it will be the last baby item I part with apart from my car seat. I think now that you can get the Peg Perego Viaggo Car seat, I think you can attach it on the frame, which would allow you to… Read more
use it from birth. Storage basket was not an issue and I hate overloading my stroller anyhow. As my child rarely sleeps in a pram it wasn't an issue for us. The pram can tip over it your child tries to stand in it and if the handles are ridiculously overloaded with bags. Light, manouveres like a sports car, folds super compact, great for travelling, sturdy and agile, smooth ride. Uber cool look!
Folds up super small and quick. Does not recline, no storage basket. Can tip over backwards
OK – Great idea, nice pram, but wouldnt buy again. Seat isn't balanced properly in the middle of the pram. Little girls loves being in it though, other than when its tipped over! Very easy to steer, lightweight, easy to move in small spaces. Very easy to tip over backwards (even without any bags on), no storage, had 2, sent first one back as brake started clicking, 2nd does the same. Noisier than other prams when pushing, mainly front wheel.
