RACQ Third Party Fire and Theft Car Insurance

Poor service, made it difficult to cancel contracts – Prices kept increasing large amounts with no explanation from racq. Tried to end insurance online and was forced into chat to the my insurance with them. After an hour or frustration with staff finally left their terrible service and poor pricing for another 50% cheaper. Never again use racq after they were brought out. Show details

Worst company I ever dealt with – They’re happy to take your money but when our vehicle broke down on the highway, RACQ towing hooked it up by the steering arms and bent them making it impossible to drive. just cut us off completely. She won’t take our calls and no one else will help. She even gave me her personal mobile number to contact her but no answer or reply. And apparently I can’t make a complaint from someone in the complaints department. What a joke of a company.

Pathetic customer service! – Tonight I tried twice to pay my elderly fathers car insurance. My first call I waited 56 mins ... then spoke to a lady who said she would put me through to another department...THEN I WAS CUT OFF. Horrible – Absolutely pathetic. I've never dealt with such an incompetent insurance company. I've had to constantly call about my daughters claim after a car accident (she was not the at fault driver) They haven't even bothered to chase up the other party even though we have filed a police report. They leave you on hold for an hour, only to give you no information. Take your business elsewhere. They are useless and deserve the bad reviews. Show details
