Would advise strongly to
- Take photos date stamp and lots take lots of them, anything that isn’t right or is damaged or dirty
- Keep reading the RTA act and if you are unsure call RTA and have them explain
- Only correspond via email or in writing that is date stamped
- Read reviews before renting with anyone as I strongly wish I did before renting with this office
- Be prepared for stress- and conflict

REMAX BURPENGARY REVIEW
We just sold our home with Vikki from remax living burpengary, Vikki was fantastic always looking out for our interests. vikki was very professional and honest keeping us up to date every step of the way. we started out with another agent and felt that the sale was not progressing as quick as we liked, so when we met vikki, she was like a breath of fresh air. I would recommend vikki to anyone who wants to sell their home.
Do Not Go With RE/MAX
We had nothing but amazing things to say about RE/MAX prior to moving out and were very impressed as it was our first time renting. I can confidently say after the events that took place during/after our move and lack of communication on their end, my husband and I would never rent through RE/MAX again. Very disappointing.
Rude and Abrupt
I have been trying to contact Re/Max Warwick for two weeks in regards to a rental property to inspect. No answer from PM Jessy Lee and no answer from reception. Emailed several times and left call messages for more than two weeks. When I was finally contacted I was approached with a very rude and abrupt PM. No wonder they are unable to rent properties and I feel sorry for any rental property owner that has decided to contract this real estate agent on behalf of themselves. After reading other reviews I would not rent from this real estate just out of principle. If I could rate Zero this is what I would do

I had the most unpleasant fortune or having Remax Townsville as my property manager from 2014 to 2018.
Their business ethics absolutely discussed me right from their dishonest sales team thought to all the aspects of their property management (or more accurately,misleading management )team.
They would not act on basic requests from me to alert tenants as to breaches ranging from failing to water and maintain lawns to deliberate damage caused by tenants where unauthorised instructions were given without me even knowing.They just did not want t...
Refusng to arrange an earlier viewing for a rental property
Rental property owners: be warned. Do not use them as your property manager as they do not listen nor respect potential tenants, and ignore their requests.
Re/max Torrens in WA never reply to phone calls (I rang 4 times in the last 4 days, and receive no response at all), do not make an effort to arrange rental inspections that are convenient to potential tenants (only offer 9-5 Mon-Fri, and expect people to take time off to view it). When the inspection time they had wasn't suitable for me and I asked if they can arrange an earlier inspection, the staff rudely replied "no, sorry" and did not offer a solution.
How can this business still survive in this economic environment with this attitude to others I do not know.
Evasive! Avoid at all cost, or complain to HQ!
Bond was released to tenant when damage had not been resolved. Agent kept finding new excuses for the damage every day, as to disregard the previous tenants' responsibility because they had released the bond without consent. There was also a lot of emailing back-and-forth that wasn't going anywhere.
I contacted manager of the branch, only to be told that they were on vacation and thus could not do anything about this.
It is quite possible that routine inspections were rarely conducted at the property, as obvious damages were only found du...ring final inspection after tenant had vacated. AVOID AT ALL COST! They also try to rip you off if they assume you are unfamiliar with real estate policies and legislations—for both landlord and tenant. They will find all kinds of excuses to avoid liability; until you complain to their HQ. Even then, all you'd get is an email from them, apologising for "upsetting you".

I bought a property with the intention of living in it. There was a tenant in place with a lease and the selling agent went to great lengths to persuade me to switch the management of the property to their office from another one.
The charges offered were way above industry standard and I just refused them. I have been investing in property for many years and have a large number of management agreements to use as a guide.
I was told if management was transferred to their office they would do their best to encourage the tenant to move. All...part of the service I was continually told. I did offer the tenant a month of free rent if he would move out before the lease expired and also offered compensation to the agent for lost commissions . I'm unsure if this offer ever reached the tenant. I asked the property manager if an inspection had taken place and was told it had. I asked several times in subsequent months to be told the same but they repeatedly refused to provide any inspection report to me.

Looking at purchasing a property listed at 550,000 - 600,000 By incompetent REMAX.
Made a full written initial offer of 558,000
Agent "female" Rings back 20 mins later and says "sorry house is under offer"
I didn't even get to negotiate a higher offer" was going as high as 615,000 if required to try to secure purchase".
Not doing the right thing by the vendor, its a pity they will never know...
Dodgy cowboys at best.

Yeah Nah - Wish I had of done a simple Google search on this and AVOIDED completely REMAX STREET
So quick to rush you through an inspection and sign a lease but after that - you're on your own!
Don't care about any concerns or maintenance that is required on the property. Lord have mercy you bring this to their attention because you'll be met with rude and insensitive responses. They forget that Tenants have more rights than them and try to gloss over this. Don't fall for it. And don't continue to communicate with them if you're unhappy with their response - just go to the RTA. My past rental was blissful in comparison to this nightmare, ...
Taking back over rental
As soon as remax found out I no longer required there service they kicked me to the kerb my rental property was a mess and they didn't care as a home owner and investor I recommend listening to this warning they care bout know one but them selves and charge services that don't seem to get done
Remax cairns agent selling in edge hill, cairns does not reply
So i had left several texts voice messages on answering machine this kid did not reply once, even though the house was not selling and on the market for months. NO REPLY at all.
Recently the house sold wayyy under asking and actual value of the house.
I feel bad for the owners who chose him to sell the place who got a poor sale price due to a incompetent agent and had to pay his agent fees...
