Re/Max Crows Nest Qld now operating as All About Real Estate Kev Perry I found Kev Perry difficult to work with and regret engaging him to sell my property. He seems to work for the buyer not the seller then expects a pat on the back for it. If you want a quick sale for a rock bottom price, then he's your man. Otherwise steer clear!

REMAX Revolution - Denise Smith. Liar, aider and abettor. Allowed the lawn/pool guy to steal thousands of $$ worth of stuff that we admittedly left in a shed adjoining the property, picking some up daily and taking it to our new property. She was… Read more

They weren’t insured as they weren’t in the house anymore. Denise knows who has them, but is saying if we left them there in the shed we abandoned them. We were going there on a daily basis grabbing what we had room for in our temporary accommodation.

Lazy and non professional – Negative if I can give, One of the worst for rentals, worst experience ever. We were renting through them and were about to vacate to move in our property as rent bumped up by 50% one fine day, we had one and half month to vacate and two days before inspection day unfortunately had a family member sick with COVID symptoms and we requested them if… Read more

we can reschedule and they said no and inspite of RTA saying NO to them for entry, the property manager from Remax continued with open home, they made a unlawful entry in our property, saying do what ever I could do but they will go ahead with inspection, risking potential tentants of getting COVID, as it was work involved for them to call and reschedule with potential tenants. I would suggest everyone to keep away from these bunch of greedy and lazyy agents. We now own two properties and will never get these people near my property. We have contacted current affairs and lawyers to deal with these...I suggest landlords to give property through other agents so its a pleasant dealing for all and keep away from such unprofessional agents.

Remax guy, who very conveniently LIED to the review below, that I did not notify of COVID, please do your checks, attached is a snapshot of an email sent to you guys stating someone is unwell with symptoms and on the same email I attached an extract from RTA website, also HIGHLIGHTED IN YELLOW, when I sent the email, to be clear that it states no entry allowed if someone has COVID symptoms to inform you it's unlawful as was also advised by RTA, this was provided after repeated phone calls to cancel due to someone with COVID symptoms, the property manager didn't even attend to the call, she just told the receptionist to say "do whatever I want and whoever is sick, they can't reschedule as around 20 group of people are eager to come in to inspect the open home". You should have recorded phone calls as well to listen to. I know it is cutthroat and profit driven market, but shouldn't you be little ashamed instead of lying? Also, it is not just the safety of you staff but the potential tenants who didn't even know that someone might have the symptoms, no mention of them in the below review clarification clearly shows what kind of customer service could be expected from you.

Remax Ignite Middle Park were our Property managers for 4 years. It was a pleasure to deal with Roxanne and Adam and Their Property managers. We were very happy with Zoe’s professional and easy-going approach during the entire sales of our investment property. Zoe was completely understanding our situation since we are not living in QLD. We had a tight schedule between tenant moving out, strata painting job and marketing the property which were all happening at the same time, Zoe made sure everything worked out smoothly and took 2-3 weeks sold our property.

I had Zoe Hinton from Remax Brisbane selling my property and I couldn't be happier with her service. I had other properties sold before and the agents were more interested in a quick buck. But Zoe really looked after my interests even when it meant more work for her. She was also quite professional and helpful with anything that I needed help. Show details

I do not recommend RE/MAX Broadbeach because: - In 1.5 years, customer service was poor (the worst I have experienced) - Quite often not upfront, flexible and transparent - Failed to reply on several occasions to calls, voicemails and emails - Advertised a property as coming with internet, but lease said otherwise - Had to get agency to amend… Read more

lease to include internet as advertised - Broke the law by failing to lodge rental bond with government RTA within 10 days - Attempting to profit from bank interest accrued by privately investing rental bonds is *illegal* - Only lodged rental bond with RTA 10 days *after* I vacated, and only after I asked for proof - Tried to unilaterally deduct $450 from rental bond before I got the government to step in - Agents typically never acknowledged any blame and would not intervene to solve issues that arose - Former employee scathing of company (can't disclose alleged breaches here)

Further detail: I secured this property during a rental crisis. The application process was extremely competitive. RE/MAX Broadbeach picked me because of my excellent rental record and references.

I work from home for broadcast clients and need internet access for work. When the internet was off for days, they did not work with me to find an adequate solution. 5G home internet was not available in the area. The NBN Co does not allow "granny flats" their own wired connections. I was forced to find an expensive alternative. Caused untold stress. Neither the agency nor owner offered any kind of compensation, instead soon *raising* the rent.

Not upfront at outset that, once fixed-term lease expired, another fixed-term lease was the only option and tried to double the lease term. As a prospective home buyer, I never wished to be locked into such a rigid arrangement. RE/MAX Broadbeach knows it can financially penalise renters forced to break leases. Seems they rig the system in their favour.

The property was advertised as "quiet". Agent [Name Removed] knew my job involves live on-air (microphone) work because I had told her. She, however, failed to mention the owner’s plan to renovate when I gave notice, even encouraging me to stay on longer. No doubt all parties wanted renovations completed while I was still there so they could immediately get a new tenant in once I left. The construction noise was an issue, and impacted my work.

I'm 49. I've dealt with many agencies. I've never objected to any reasonable rental deposit deduction (so far never more than $50) upon vacation. After attempting to charge me $450 (!) I've had to get the government to intervene. Anyone reading this is welcome to get in touch to view my many rental references.

Thoroughly unpleasant. I would never have dealings with them again, and would have given them 0 stars if that was an option.

Our experience with Rohan Banning left us disappointed and concerned about the transparency of the process. This was confusing and felt misleading - when you're told your offer is… Read more

accepted, it's reasonable to expect you're the buyer the seller is proceeding with. Instead, we felt like our offer may have been used to prompt a higher bid. The communication lacked clarity, and we wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending Rohan based on this experience.

Agent working for Buyer not seller poor follow up false information given and a costly disappointing result – I sold my house through Remax Whitfield some months ago at a loss in a very buoyant market. flustered and when the buyer was asking for a permit to a carport built on the property which was applicable but would cost $10000 dollars according to the agent from Remax She frantically pressured me and wanted us to have a building inspection immediately of the carport costing over ten grand, We then choose to seek further advise and found it was not required for the sale. We also found we could get the permit through Cairns City Council for a fraction of the cost the agent quoted. In the situation of false information, I thankfully was able to consult with the agent that had previously sold the property to me, on this agent advise I went against the Remax agent's unsound reactive advice and said no to the buyer's solicitor the buyer bought the property and the contract went unconditional. After this there was no further contact from my REMAX agent. The keys to the property were not collected and no delivery of the Champagne basket that was also promised was forthcoming just a bunch of sour grapes. A very disappointing moment in my relationship with this agent who really could cost another 10 grand for something that was not required.

She made my move less stressful.I have been received renewals term for another six months just after four months than another email after two days given two months advance notice to leave property end of current term as owner wants to renovate property. You can Imagine just after four months moved into new city now have to go through once again pack unpack and moving cost. I was lucky found another property just after two weeks received email to leave. After giving one week notice living earlier than end of term new property manager try to get two more weeks rent from me as breaking term. At begging one agent helped me out for east move other end of term adding additional stress. It wasn’t my choice to look for new place just in four months after moved in. Good agent like Jackson and Maureen cooperate and makes easy process for renting property other agent from same company adds additional stress.

Shocking – Remax Robina took over our tenancy contract and was absolutely disinterested in the situation in our apartment (master bedroom with exposed concrete slab, no carpet, couple of holes in the plasterboard to investigate water leak - 8 months ongoing - yet still $720 rent per week). need a solution since the master bedroom was not in a good condition due to external leak and damaged carpet for over 8 months. Agent didn't even turn up to the scheduled inspection and sent a photographer... We followed up with remedy breach and vacated property. During this process we experienced the most unprofessional conduct in any dealings with any business in Australia ever. The agent kept herself unavailable to avoid any communication, principal of the agency Justin Miller replied to my email from his phone, saying "you don't have any idea..." and "you won't help yourself by throwing my staff under the bus..." No apology, no empathy, no offer of any solution or mediation. Defensive and arrogant - all of them. They challenged our exit condition report in an effort to keep our bond with "unclean" areas, which were not visible to us or our bond cleaners. They demanded from us to clean the rusty entry door frame, which belongs to Body Corporate, stating it is a timber frame and it is dirty. We sent an email with a video of a magnet attached to the door frame, proving it is a steel fire safety frame, exposed to elements and it is rusty. No reply, no acknowledgement, nothing. We dragged our cleaner back to attend to non-existing "unclean" areas and scrap the rust off the door frame, which was not our responsibility at all (letter from Body Corporate proved that). For that reason our bond refund was delayed for nearly a month. The absolute cherry on the top was the agent's assistant Nicole who came out while the agent Steph was hiding in the whole day's "meeting" and stated that she has got years of experience and knows that all door frames are timber and it cannot be rust, gave us even quote on the door which we will have to replace. Perhaps, her years of experience were just a waste of time and some different career should be considered... Arrogant agent who treats their client with very little respect. I never met any of these people in person (what an agent, say no more...!) but I wish that day will come and wonder if they have any guts to look in my eyes.

I would give them a zero if I could – Lesson learnt... avoid any property that Remax have anything to do with!  Remax First are horrific real estate agents, and their property managers are disgustingly rude.  My first property manager there was great, her name was [Name Removed].  However when [Name Removed] left, she was replaced with [Name Removed].  I was given no notice of this… Read more

until I enquired for [Name Removed], and it all went downhill from there.  [Name Removed] entered my property without notice for a property inspection, claiming that she had sent an email.  Usually when emails are sent but not delivered, the sender receives a "bounce-back" email advising them of such.  So if they are sending emails that aren't being received AND not getting notification of it... they probably need to get their IT department onto that!  [Name Removed] didn't last long before being replaced by [Name Removed].  [Name Removed] is rude and disrespectful.  Shortly after [Name Removed] took over, and prior to my first interaction with her, I had sent an email requesting for some maintenance items to be rectified.  This email was blatantly ignored.  [Name Removed] claimed that the email was never received, which again seems strange, because if it wasn't delivered I should have received a "bounce-back" email... so their IT department really needs to sort out the issues with their emails!  When it came around to giving notice of my intention to leave, [Name Removed] sent through an entry notice to show some prospective tenants the unit (funny how their emails seem to work when THEY want it to!)  The appointment time for this entry came and went, and in my wonder of where the agent was, I started looking around outside my apartment.  I noticed a couple standing around, appearing to be waiting.  They were waiting for [Name Removed] to arrive, to show them around my apartment.  I recognised them as my neighbours and they advised that it was indeed an hour after their inspection time, and they had heard no word from [Name Removed].  I showed them around the apartment myself.  Later that night (hours after the appointment time) I checked in to see if they had heard from [Name Removed]... and they still had no word from her.  [Name Removed] was a complete no-show to the appointment, and essentially ghosted potential new tenants for hours.  [Name Removed]'s behaviour is appalling and disgusting.  If these are the sorts of characters Remax are willing to employ, I would avoid them like the plague!  They should not be allowed to operate this way.
