Just ordered from Bennett Springs we didn't get the roll we ordered and the one we received was put in the microwave for so long it was mush, inedible. The chips weren't cooked, still hard and the drink hot. Needless to say it went in the bin and we won't go there again.

After waiting 5min in the drive-thru without being addressed, I drove up to the window in which the girl advised she didn't have her headset turned on, (she thought not having one of the only devices she is required to use funny). She then asked me to park and wait. I waited over 7min with again no one coming out to address me and so I walked up… Read more

to the drive-thru window. The girl sent her manager to me who was unkept and extremely rude. He tried to blame the situation on me and when I told him that she had it turned off he tried to lie to my face and dismiss me and so I made it very clear that she even showed me that it was turned off. He then raised his voice, spoke over me and dismissed me again rudely. I waited for another 3min and my food was cold! Don't waste your time!!! No wonder why Red Rooster is such a small chain. Maybe if you hired workers smart enough to turn on a device or managers skilled enough to handle their staff and a situation, you would possibly gain more clientele.

Fairfield store, bought a Hawaiian pack , the chips were minimal and the chicken was the size of a quarter of a quail. The meal was cold and greasy. Disappointed that will have to buy more food on the way home. Will not be returning as much as I like it more, KFC is far better value for money.

Red rooster is went through your drive thru at Mindarie tonight to feed my family. We are regular customers multiple times a week... we always buy the giant feast. Tonight I was met with attitude by the you male who took my order and treated me as if I was being an inconvenience to him. When I finally got my giant feast, elf bites and chocolate… Read more

mousse the oil was dripping through the bag on to my centre console suede upholstery. Once I got home the potato and gravy was missing and the chips were cold and the elf bites were severely undercooked. Very disappointing. Im now going to have to get my car cleaned ontop of this experience.

Bought a whole chicken on line for $22.00. See photo on relation to the size. It was obviously too young to leave its mother. Absolute disgrace. Could have bought a bigger chicken for $11.00 in coles. Will not be buying from red rooster again Show details

Hi all 2 weeks ago l purchased crispy chicken from joondanna store. The whole family enjoyed it. This evening we purchased the same product from Balcatta store. Very disappointing. How does this happen when they follow the same recipe. Now, because of this, my family and friends will stop buying from them.

Hadn’t had Red Rooster for some time so when I got the opportunity I was looking forward to it. Got 3 drumsticks - the smallest chicken legs I have ever seen - looked more like a sparrow leg. Two bites each and not cheap. It will be a long time before I go to RR again.

Ordered Tropical pack, from Southern Cross station in Melbourne, Red Rooster. Love RR and was looking forward to it after travelling all day. I'm not sure it was chicken. My portion was the size of a pigeon. I have attached a photo. Service was okay and chips great. Never had a piece of chicken that small before. Show details

Ordered a pickled bird “BURGER” and got a roll with chicken tenders, lettuce and mayo. Since how is this a burger. Roll was tough to chew - probably 2 days old and the whole thing tasted like crap that I threw it out

Always Excellent service from Miranda at the Belmont, WA store.

Follow-up  · RR continues to be a firm favourite. I love the fried chicken and the flyva wrap and staff service is always lovely.

Stone cold. As they outsource delivery - I dealt with DoorDash to 4 days of no avail as was delivered elsewhere and my ring doorbell captured nothing. No refund- Red rooster said call DoorDash. Refund via chargeback with proof only. Steer clear from this fraud  Show details

Disappointing – The salt content is really high. We have informed the lady at the counter and just nodding is their response. Even just buying the roasted chicken has a layer of salt throughout. And the chips, may look yummy but tasting it is another story which is soggy and salty.

Follow-up  · The salt in the chips needs to be reduced.

Farout if I wanted that I would off went across the dam road As the chicken was plain and the chips were scabby all for $11.00 . Red rooster is known for chicken chips potatoes peas gravy. But not anymore as Red rooster is trash now as I will never go there again. Horrible chicken.

We ordered a roast dinner pack, a chicken roll, and standard mashed potato with gravy through Uber Eats. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was very disappointing. The chicken roll contained very little chicken and was mostly filled with mayonnaise. At $12.89, this felt significantly overpriced given the lack of filling. The mashed potato and… Read more

gravy, priced at $6.55, contained less than a tablespoon of potato, and the container wasn’t even three-quarters full with gravy.

I visited the store and spoke with Monica to request a refund, but this was declined. While I was offered a replacement chicken roll and mashed potato/gravy, I chose not to accept this, as I had concerns about the quality of the food provided. I was advised that a refund could not be processed.

Based on this experience, I will not be returning to the Woodvale Red Rooster, as I found the food to be overpriced and of poor quality.

Dry, overcooked, chewy, tasteless, overpriced, unappetising, and disappointing. That describes the wrap, and the nuggets. The rooster roll wasn't much better. Flavourless, bland, soggy. An absolute mess. Show details

You can't rely on getting what you ordered at Red Rooster Fountain Gate. Some of the younger staff do not listen. You have to tell them more than once, you get them to read it back, then when you get your order there is always something missing like the Potato and Gravy or something else. Surely it's not that hard to get an order write. Listening… Read more

impossible to get a response from, had an issue with a food item and so far waiting 2 weeks for a reply when their online complaint form says 2-4 business days. not good enough.

Follow-up  · I did eventually get an email back and the faulty product (coleslaw that had a very strong chemical taste to it) was refunded. But by the time this happened I no longer had the item as it had been almost 3 weeks and I only kept it in the fridge for 1 week anticipating they may want it returned to investigate. They did mention that they were… Read more

I've always rather liked RR. Much prefer it to KFC. Quality consistently better. Less sloppy. Healthier options if in the mood. Tonight I tried their fried chicken for the first time. The chicken itself was cooked well. But the coating was a let down. It was very crunchy but had zero flavour. Just absolutely no taste to it whatsoever. I was expecting something more like KFC which, for all its faults, does an incredible fried chicken.

There is a golden opportunity for Red Rooster to take all the KFC customers, sadly, their service and ability to gauge how much chicken to cook for the day eludes them. On a brighter note, RR tastes better and doesn't make me feel ill afterwards. They do however, need to stop serving uncooked chips, as they are indigestible. They had no roast… Read more

around like id*ots. Called red rooster Australia and complained formally as Raintrees owners are selling their own things out of the back door. Store always dirty, always 20min for a min order six. As chips. Unfortunately kfc and Macca’s and hungry jacks train their staff instead of doing drug deals.
