Could not buy a $10 chicken at RR Kingaroy unless I spent $15 or more. I can not find advertising where this is mentioned plus the chips packet was 3/4 full and to top it off the female manager was so rude. Never again and would not recommend them at all

Red rooster is went through your drive thru at Mindarie tonight to feed my family. We are regular customers multiple times a week... we always buy the giant feast. Tonight I was met with attitude by the you male who took my order and treated me as if I was being an inconvenience to him. When I finally got my giant feast, elf bites and chocolate… Read more

mousse the oil was dripping through the bag on to my centre console suede upholstery. Once I got home the potato and gravy was missing and the chips were cold and the elf bites were severely undercooked. Very disappointing. Im now going to have to get my car cleaned ontop of this experience.

Bought a whole chicken on line for $22.00. See photo on relation to the size. It was obviously too young to leave its mother. Absolute disgrace. Could have bought a bigger chicken for $11.00 in coles. Will not be buying from red rooster again Show details

Hi all 2 weeks ago l purchased crispy chicken from joondanna store. The whole family enjoyed it. This evening we purchased the same product from Balcatta store. Very disappointing. How does this happen when they follow the same recipe. Now, because of this, my family and friends will stop buying from them.

Hadn’t had Red Rooster for some time so when I got the opportunity I was looking forward to it. Got 3 drumsticks - the smallest chicken legs I have ever seen - looked more like a sparrow leg. Two bites each and not cheap. It will be a long time before I go to RR again.

Ordered Tropical pack, from Southern Cross station in Melbourne, Red Rooster. Love RR and was looking forward to it after travelling all day. I'm not sure it was chicken. My portion was the size of a pigeon. I have attached a photo. Service was okay and chips great. Never had a piece of chicken that small before. Show details

Woeful. The new cheeseburger is dreadful. Slapped together with a couple of strips a piece of cheese and sauces. The bun is the same as Maccas fillet o fish. It was tasteless. So disappointed. It was purchased from RedRooster Deception Bay. The 2 stars is all for delivery. The price of this stuff is higher again, it’s such a waste of money. Show details

Follow-up  · Thank you for the questions you wanted answered. The delivery speed was so like always slow and never around allocated time. It can between10-30 minutes that is specified. This is constant. The prices have gone up considerably since last I commented, but nothing else has changed. I understand delivery drivers pick and choose orders that are ready… Read more

Went to RR on Nicklin Way Caloundra area this week. Never again. Small portions and the bread roll (bun) tasted more like cake than bread, tasted like it was full of sugar and very crumbly. Needed a magnifying glass to find the chicken and the… Read more

cheese was disgusting, an orage colour like you see in American movies. The whole meal was just awful and the staff looked bored and were unhelpful. Such a shame to see this once good takeaway provider go downhill like they have.

Follow-up  · The wait time is never very long. Have'nt tried other items. Serves all seem to be smaller than in the past.

RR Carine on 2 Gemstone Boulevard Carine WA 6020. This is my favorite Red Rooster. Been ever since we came back to Perth in 2011!! Served by Brian today and told him the food needs to be hot. He challenged me to give a review. Basically, the chicken was juicy and hot and the pineapple fritters were unbelievable!!! Thumbs up mate. Well done to you and your team. Purchased at 2:40pm on 23/11/25 Show details

At Augustine heights, the workers there during around 6 pm on a Tuesday night, were phenomenal. The food was great and my family liked it a ton. The service was great and the workers were extremely kind. Will 100% visit again in the near future.

First time purchase at Red Rooster Greenvale. Never again. The food had been sitting for who knows how long. Nothing was fresh, everything was lukewarm. They sold 2 tiny pieces of corn a quarter of an inch (I'm not kidding) dark charred and just cold, not sure of the cost. No quality control I guess. I know from experience its no good trying… Read more

The switch to Pepsi has completely ruined the iconic Red Rooster experience. I am a regular customer who is incredibly disappointed by the decision to remove Coca-Cola products from Red Rooster menus and replace them with PepsiCo. I strictly dislike the taste of Pepsi and find the quality substandard. Not having a Coke option completely ruins the… Read more

meal for me. It actively puts me off visiting Red Rooster regularly, and I am choosing to go elsewhere instead. While I understand that corporate made this switch to get cheaper wholesale pricing, the customer is the one paying the retail cost for the food and drinks anyway. Removing our freedom of choice makes no sense when the costs are passed to us. I strongly urge management to return Coca-Cola brands to the shelves so that paying loyal customers can actually get the iconic Red Rooster experience they expect.

I went to the same Red Rooster 12 months ago with the same result: Incredibly rude staff. I asked for a receipt and was met by eyeball rolling and my order being slammed on the bench. That's enough for me.

Just ordered from Bennett Springs we didn't get the roll we ordered and the one we received was put in the microwave for so long it was mush, inedible. The chips weren't cooked, still hard and the drink hot. Needless to say it went in the bin and we won't go there again.

After waiting 5min in the drive-thru without being addressed, I drove up to the window in which the girl advised she didn't have her headset turned on, (she thought not having one of the only devices she is required to use funny). She then asked me to park and wait. I waited over 7min with again no one coming out to address me and so I walked up… Read more

to the drive-thru window. The girl sent her manager to me who was unkept and extremely rude. He tried to blame the situation on me and when I told him that she had it turned off he tried to lie to my face and dismiss me and so I made it very clear that she even showed me that it was turned off. He then raised his voice, spoke over me and dismissed me again rudely. I waited for another 3min and my food was cold! Don't waste your time!!! No wonder why Red Rooster is such a small chain. Maybe if you hired workers smart enough to turn on a device or managers skilled enough to handle their staff and a situation, you would possibly gain more clientele.

Fairfield store, bought a Hawaiian pack , the chips were minimal and the chicken was the size of a quarter of a quail. The meal was cold and greasy. Disappointed that will have to buy more food on the way home. Will not be returning as much as I like it more, KFC is far better value for money.

Farout if I wanted that I would off went across the dam road As the chicken was plain and the chips were scabby all for $11.00 . Red rooster is known for chicken chips potatoes peas gravy. But not anymore as Red rooster is trash now as I will never go there again. Horrible chicken.

We ordered a roast dinner pack, a chicken roll, and standard mashed potato with gravy through Uber Eats. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was very disappointing. The chicken roll contained very little chicken and was mostly filled with mayonnaise. At $12.89, this felt significantly overpriced given the lack of filling. The mashed potato and… Read more

gravy, priced at $6.55, contained less than a tablespoon of potato, and the container wasn’t even three-quarters full with gravy.

I visited the store and spoke with Monica to request a refund, but this was declined. While I was offered a replacement chicken roll and mashed potato/gravy, I chose not to accept this, as I had concerns about the quality of the food provided. I was advised that a refund could not be processed.

Based on this experience, I will not be returning to the Woodvale Red Rooster, as I found the food to be overpriced and of poor quality.

Dry, overcooked, chewy, tasteless, overpriced, unappetising, and disappointing. That describes the wrap, and the nuggets. The rooster roll wasn't much better. Flavourless, bland, soggy. An absolute mess. Show details
