said the order had been transferred to Minchenbury depot. I phoned them and after some difficulty they found my order and it was delivered that day, 2-weeks after ordering, two emails and two phone calls chasing it up. I should have ordered from Amazon and got next day delivery.
They sell PVC tubing by the metre. I asked for a 1cm sample to test its use at home in a project, so I could decide what size to buy - but Reece would not give me a 1cm sample; they only will sell you a 1m minimum, which is too much to "try" and then go back to "try another size". You think you are buying a quality product for your dream kitchen but wait, it’s not!!
First they had the gall to tell me I have to disassemble it and replace it with a part they are sending and send the faulty one back! Then they called back and says ok now sending the full item but use a plumber or warranty is void. Just as well they are sending the whole tap as the tiny screw to dislodge the top half is difficult to access let alone view! The tap is a piece of garbage. Wouldn’t recommend Reece or their customer care or the tap! Especially now this is the second repair. It doesn’t get much use so the reason why it has leaked is beyond me! Just seems to be a poor quality item that I now regret having installed in the first place. Customer care also took ages to get anything sorted, still hasn’t arrived, and I placed the warranty call on the 12th oct!
Warranty not worth the paper its written on – My Thermann 5* 26lt unit was fitted 11/02/2015, I have had issues with it running cold/fluctuations much like other reviews. Customer (lack of) Care" they would replace it with a reconditioned unit and only offer a 12 month warranty! suggesting they are doing me a favour? So let me get this straight, I have 2.5 years left on my unit's warranty, but you are effectively absolving yourselfs of 1.5yrs of my warranty and giving me a second hand unit!! for a grand total of 8.5yrs warranty instead, thus renaging on your 10yr warranty. Nothing like backing your product Hey! No wonder these so called "5 star" units have been discontinued. If there was a minus review I would give it on Reece's aftersales service alone, this product is not fit for purpose. Marketing on website/video; states;- customer peace of mind for the length of the 10/12yr warranty, built in Japan with high grade materials, efficient, unlimited hot water "designed for the Austalian Market" no less. Whilst on this subject , I was told by Customer Care, its not the unit that's at fault, its the town water in Perth blocking my heat exchanger and it blows out. Isn't Perth in Australia? I was also told to test the water for calcium etc. at my local pool shop and advised to look at p13 of the owners manual re warranty subject to water conditions that void the warranty. Guess what, I did! and the water is within the stated range for a warranty claim. but again what about being "Designed for Australian Market" isnt it? Kado 4.5 Lux Cistern Leaking Continuously – Our J G King house was handed over in July 2020 and the Kado 4.5 Lux cistern was part of the selection. The plumber was Reece. a couple of weeks. In late August it resumed and Reece attended, changing the float valve. In mid-October, the leak resumed and Reece attended, again replacing the float valve in BOTH cisterns, as the other one had leaked briefly. Within a month, the leak in the ensuite cistern resumed. I filled out a fresh aftersales case, which was ignored. I rang a few days later and asked for a new type of solution, such as a replacement, as it is the third float valve. The agent said that his boss made those decisions, but two weeks on, the boss did not reply. As my contract is with JG King, who has not considered this an "emergency", my only choice is to endure this noisy water torture over Christmas before they get around to my case (including other warranty matters).
I was rebuilding a shower and wanted to ensure that it did not require maintenance for a long time. In April 2024, I bought 2 new spindles for the taps from Reece Plumbing. We bought Grohe tap mixers from Reece. They appeared blocked and the water was dipping out instead of shooting out. We contacted them and they told us to get our plumber to sort the issue. trying to brainstorm the problem. We waited weeks for a Reece technician to come out. My husband was not home when he arrived to repair the taps. My husband asked if the technician could show him/tell him what the issue was, and the technician said an outright “no!” Our electrician watched the Reese technician repair the taps in 2 minutes. It turned out they were FAULTY and the technician had to repair parts!
It cost us a plumber, half a day of my husband’s time, weeks of having non-functional kitchen taps and terrible rudeness from the company.
There has been no apology from Reece for the inconvenience and costs we incurred. Furthermore, I have no doubt they are aware of the faulty taps - that is why they repaired them in 2 minutes and knew exactly what the problem was.
We will never buy from them again!

few differing stories regarding the delay. 6 months altogether for delivery. Questioned and scrutinised by the manager because he believed I'd received the products. He called my plumber to find out if he'd seen the products delivered. It took my plumber to sort the mess out. Never will I use Reece again. I highly recommend Bunnings as the better option.

when Martin, their specialist in Melbourne had not even physically seen the tap to be repaired! Had 2 plumbers in, costing me over $500 just to unscrew the kitchen tap. In addition , Reece sent replacement screw of the wrong size as well! When the last plumber managed to unscrew the grub screw, then the handle could not not be undone . So Martin assumed the initial installing plumber glued it. Excuse me Martin, that part cannot be glued and screw was not corroded per the plumber who actually unscrewed the screw.. Abrupt customer service staff – Took 2 months to get the spa bath. It’s not what was expected and unusable in the bathroom space. Reece plumbing at Warrnambool refused return therefore refund stating it was a specialised order. Not once did they say it wasn’t returnable if it didn’t work out. They did offer a discount on buying another bath from them. It might be different for others but I found they don’t offer suggestions or guidance when buying items.

issue with Davey Water Products Pty Ltd on 21/11/2024. (Reference number is 00249555), notifying me a representative would be in contact with me directly. To date I have made 4 follow-ups with Davey Water Products and each time they are not able to provide a way forward other than to say they are awaiting information from Reece Belconnnen. I also get told each time that someone would phone me back. To date no one has called me back. So now I enter summer with a pool going green, holidays ahead, and no one cares about my issue. Take this as a warning if you are a potential customer not to buy this product as there is no service if it breaks.

fix it. They ended up sending us videos of how to fix the tap ourselves. Easy, even though they originally said there was no screw, but that’s another problem. 1 month later, same problem. What's happening is when you rotate the tap to the right sink its undoing the collar. When you move to the left it does not tighten it backup. For the price I would have expected more. Anyway. Now it's past 12 months so I need to drive an hour to pick up the replacement. Organise a plumber at my expense to fit it. Then I need to drive another hour to return the faulty product. Refund is not an option as Reece don't stock them so don't sell many I assume. I can see why now.

If Reece choose to sell Posh Canterbury sink mixers so should stock replacement cartridges – I purchased 4 Posh Canterbury sink mixers in February this year from Reece Plumbing in Bunbury So still under warranty. had a damaged toilet seat that I showed him, asking if he knew what might have caused the discolouration (just out of interest - I was planning to buy a replacement) and he said - and I quote: "That's not my problem"! Stunned by this ridiculous reply, I went on to ask how easy it would be to find a matching size, he told me .... "you might just have to buy a new toilet"!! Wow.... Poor quality products with recurring issues. Posh Mirror Cabinet – Recurring issues with the same product. "Customer Care" wanted me to pay for the replacement parts which were highly inflated like most spare parts. Waste of money buying Bristol range at Reece. Imagine a mirror cabinet for a bathroom that you then say is sensitive to moisture. Pretty sure most bathrooms have moisture at some point. Show details
