Too Large for Residential Customer Service
Booked a quote in late November 2020 - with two week wait. The rep came two days late after an excuse. The shower screen design was confirmed after a full on-site measure. The wait was going to be a month due to Christmas but we went with Regency and paid a little more only because they could build the screen to our spec. and their frame was not going to be as bulky as the competition. After one month and a half since first contact, the installer came on Jan 13th. He said that the screen was not going to fit. I rang management and negotiated a ...compromise screen (not what we really wanted) and insisted upon a discount (as we could have done the whole job much cheaper with another company with the kind of screen that was now going to be installed). They rang back a week later and said they couldn't do the job. We have rung maybe 6 times. Three weeks and no return of deposit! Still waiting and the receptionist said "we are a big company" in response. Totally shocking experience with Regency and a total waste of time!
Don't expect quality
Brand new shower screen was installed with a very noticeable scratch in the frame. Had to complain to two managers before the company agreed to replace the panel. The whole frame was replaced but they then left out the drainage channel in the bottom panel even thought the guy who installed said it was usual to have this. Glass came with a palm-sized frosted mark which has not come out with regular cleaning products. Frame is not finished on top - the reason I got was because it was too expensive to do this nowadays. Cheaper companies still do this. Not showroom quality.
Great product on the frameless screen, semi framed need more attention to detail
Aluminium frame fittings require neater silicon work, frame corners etc could be neater. Site measure up consultant Steve Watkins gives very professional and complete service, thank you for the great service

Shower screen with matte black frame looks amazing and matches the tapware perfectly! Frame and glass go all the way to the top of the tiles making a small bathroom feel much bigger. Smooth closing door feels great and seals nicely. Thankyou!
Excellent service and great value for money
Stephen the sales rep who came to quote was great. He arrived on time and was very informative with different shower screen options. Quick timeframe between being quoted and having the shower screen installed. Installer was also very punctual and installed the screen without any issues. Highly recommended this company.
The Sales rep saved the day
Jan Carlzon, once the President of Scandanavian Airlines, wrote a book about moments of truth. They are the moments when a customer comes in contact with a service or product provider. Carlzon believes that they are the moments that ultimately determine whether the company will succeed or fail as a company.
They are worth money to the seller of the service or product. But what many sellers fail to realise is that the money is not just the immediate sale .. of the shirt, or the hamburger, or the perfume, or the car. The moment of truth ca...n lead to repeat business from the customer and the customers family, friends and work colleagues. In all of our several 'moments' with Stephen Watkins, he has been punctual, professional, informative and helpful. It's really because of him that we have purchased Regency product.
Large company with good turn around
We are a building company so good product for a great price is important to us. Stephen has been good to us, prompt and committed to his word. Their factory had a stuff up but after he got involved he was able to push for the delivery to still come early enough to satisfy our clients needs. We look forward to using Regent Screens again.
Nice Shower Screen
Regency (South Australia) installed two shower screens in my home which I was very happy with so when it came to updating Mum's shower screen I called them again. The screen was measured, manufactured and installed very quickly and I am again very happy with it. The installer (Nathan Binns) was friendly, arrived on time, and cleaned up after himself. Would definitely use them again.

Excellent prompt informed service
We first used Regency to have our robe doors installed a few years ago. They did a marvelous job. This time its time for the shower screens to be replaced. Stephen Watkins turned up again same guy who measured up our robes. He was on time, efficient and knows his products well. He gave us options of styles, heights, and extras you can have with shower screens. Quotes were done on site and and emailed through even before Stephen left our property. The quotes are reasonably priced compared to the competition. Thank you Regency

Shower screens and mirrors for 2 unit development
I have been dealing with Regency for many years. The rep arrived on time and was very helpful advising of the best solution. Order was processed and installed at the appointed time. Good job all round.
Would not use again
Now this review is based on my experience from 12 months ago so they might have got their act together since then but I doubt it. From the moment I placed my order and paid a deposit they were hopeless. I had to call 3 separate occasions to simply find out when my screen was going to be installed and that was a week past it's estimated delivery. Then when they were expected to come and install the showescreen the guy was a no show with no phone call. Only after complaining and dealing with the manager did someone come. So here we are over 2 wee...ks past the expected date I think finally I can put this behind me but nope, one of the panels was measured incorrectly and they had to get it remade. After promises from the manager it would be sorted in a few days... guess what more no shows and not even a phone call to explain why... again back on the phone complaining to him... about him. Took 2 no shows to finally get it in and within a month the door started squeaking. So even after all the rubbish service, I didn't even get a good product. I woukd never use these guys again.

I first used Regency for the fitting of a shower screen in a new enclosure. Stephen Watkins was on time for the measure and quote appointment and the new screen fitted perfectly. I found everyone at Regency from the receptionist, Stephen and the installer to be polite, professional and helpful. I had no hesitation in arranging Regency to replace a very old shower screen at another house and I was fortunate to have Stephen again come to measure and quote. His advice and suggestions were invaluable to ensure the new installation would work perfectly. Thank you Regency.
Find another company!
I had 3 shower screens installed by them. One aluminum rail had some slight scratches on installation, which I thought would only be an aesthetic issue but after 1 year of use it is now corroding. Sent them 2 photos (clearly showing the scratch marks) but they rejected the warranty claim instantly, saying that they can see some corrosion on the front face of the rail so I must have used chemicals and not rinsed off properly - yes, apparently I failed to rinse off properly at those 2 spots on every clean over 1 year.
Even more ludicrous - those...corrosions they are referring to on the front face are just reflections of the silicon under the rail. Thats how clean and shiny the front face is. This is the level of incompetence I'm dealing with. Even though their own warranty policy states that goods will be inspected before deciding on a claim, yet they refuse to come out and have a look. Fair Trading couldn't talk sense into them so now I've lodged a case with QCAT to have the full amount refunded. Any reasonable person will see what this company is desperately trying to do to avoid a warranty claim so can't wait to see them make a fool of themselves at the hearing.
