I was downsizing from one apartment to another because my housemate moved states.

Why is there not an option for 0 stars? They didn’t even show up so can’t rate performance, so obviously deserves 0 stars. With an event as important as a move that involves liaising with multiple members of my family, we need people we can count on; a business that holds professionalism, accountability and commitment… THEY SHOW ABSOLUTELY NONE OF THAT!

If I could put 0 I would Absolutely disgusting DO NOT GO THROUGH THEM THEY DID NOT BOTHER TO SHOW UP AT ALL AND ON TOP OF THAT THEY WERE NOT PICKING UP PHONES, COULD NOT BE CONTACTED AT ALL CAUSED US SO MUCH STRESS NOT EVEN THE HEADS UP TO SAY THAT THEY COULD NOT DO THE JOB NOT PROFESSIONAL DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY

Fastest moving company to work with, contacted at 2pm and the job was being done by 3:30. Very kind movers and make you Feel very comfortable while they are working. Customer service was also great!

Absolutely Happy by this company. I've booked them like 3 times already and they have always delivered a fabulous service. Harry and his partner went far and beyond making sure the job was done to the highest standards. They even took great care of my upright piano...always fast, neat and getting the job done! A perfect move for my family. We moved from Williams Landing to Clayton, a 3 bedroom house. The boys were really sweet and squishy fast, loaded a full 12 ton truck in under 4 hours and completed my move in just under 10 hours. checked everything before they left and my family was quite happy with their service specially my wife, not an easy person to a smile on. Booking process was easy, moving was stress free, overall 10/10 to the team and company. Would recommend and use them again.

The only thing they remove is the $120 deposit from your bank account. They don’t turn up. They don’t pick up. At least be professional enough and pick up the phone to tell us you’re not coming DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I would not recommend this removalist company. They were booked to move my house and simply did not show up. There was no communication to let me know they weren’t coming, and I was left waiting on one of the most stressful days of the moving process. Their lack of reliability and professionalism caused unnecessary stress and disruption. If you need a removalist you can depend on, I would look elsewhere.

From the moment they arrived, it became apparent that the move was being handled extremely inefficiently. Three movers spent over 30 minutes dismantling one bed, despite the rest of the house already being completely packed, organised, and positioned near the door ready for loading. My husband even felt compelled to ask whether they were okay or needed assistance because of how long such a simple task was taking. What was even more concerning was that only two members of the team appeared to be doing any work for the majority of the move. The third person—who introduced himself as the experienced mover and stated that the other two were inexperienced—spent much of the time sitting in the truck rather than assisting with the move. If he is the experienced member of the team, I fail to understand why he was not actively supervising or helping.

If this was effectively being completed by only two people, then why was a third mover included and charged for if he was not contributing?

After five hours on site, the move was still less than halfway complete. To put this into perspective, I moved into this exact property last year with another moving company, and the entire move was completed in approximately two and a half hours. To make matters worse, your team left without collecting the remaining items from the original property. As a result, we are now being forced to find additional movers and vehicles at our own expense to complete a job that your company was engaged to do.

This has caused significant stress, inconvenience, and unnecessary additional costs. Based on today's experience, the team appeared inexperienced, poorly managed, and lacked any sense of urgency or efficiency. The communication was unacceptable, the productivity was extremely poor, and the overall standard of service fell well below what any reasonable customer would expect from a professional moving company.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have received and expect a prompt explanation as to how this situation was allowed to occur, along with an appropriate resolution, including compensation for the unacceptable service and the additional costs we will now incur to complete the move. I look forward to your urgent response.

Terrible service. Booked for 12pm. Called them at 12:30 to ask where they were, they lady sounded unsure then aired our calls for 2 hours. I called again she said they were coming within the next 2 hours but then never showed up, never got the deposit back either

If your strategic and like to plan your moving day then DO NOT USE this company. My move was booked between 12-2, it got to 12:30 so I called them, no awnser, I called the direct number provided, no answer. 5 minutes later I got an email saying they cant come and refunded the deposit. The only positive experience was the refund, terrible service. Show details

Scammed me $120 dollars. Took the deposit and then just never came to pick up my furniture. DO NOT USE them. No phone call or email to let me know. And stole money

I moved 3 bedroom from Bentleigh to Storage as I was going for a family holiday abroad. The team had moved really efficiently and covered all items using shrink wraps to protect from dirt with no extra cost. They gave an estimate of about $1200 and completed in much less. When I will be back, will use them to move into new house.

An absolute legend company. The office staff was good, the movers were brilliant. I was not able to make deposit as I was ripped off previously, but they booked accordingly and came on time. They moved my outdoor sitting with care and due diligence. Good job team

First move from storage went well, so we trusted them with the house move the next day. Big mistake. Boxes were handled roughly, most placed upside down despite clear markings, and I ended up moving all fragile items myself to avoid damage. A couple of items were damaged and everything was denied. "My team has said they were all damaged first" To top it off, the truck clipped a street sign and they just pushed it back up and drove off.

They turned up in a truck too small, and couldn't fit everything in, so literally left 20% behind

What should have been a straightforward move turned into a stressful day of watching everything they did to prevent more problems. Absolutely do not use them.

Worst service ever!!!! We could rate them 0 stars if possible. We booked well in advance for a 9 AM start. This got moved last minute to 12:00 noon, then to 5 PM, then 9 PM and then they cancelled. Never use! Did not turn up for 2 days! Constant excuses about trucks breaking down , never called, stole my deposit and still have not refunded. Emma is rude and unhelpful. This company are liars and thiefs. Never use if you don’t want money stolen and your furniture moved on the day you booked. This company needs to be reported.

These reviews are fake, complete scammers. Booked for 12pm, arrived at 8pm and left at midnight after demanding payment on the spot. Left multiple large items behind, offloaded the furniture into one room and broke things as well. nearly 1am. The company even provided a written itinerary setting clear expectations—only to completely ignore it. When my cousin called for updates, staff dodged responsibility with vague, misleading responses like “it will get there today”, deliberately avoiding any real ETA to cover their own delays. The service and attitude were unacceptable. An entire day was wasted, plans to organise the new home were ruined, and time off work was taken for nothing. This level of incompetence and dishonesty is beyond frustrating. Do not trust this company with your move.

moved from box hill to st kilda, and cannot recommend daman and simran highly enough! super lovely guys, made a very stressful move a LOT easier. nothing broken, punctual and professional. thank you both so so much!!!
