Renovation Kingdom

Purchased product arrived after 2 months damaged and unusable. Couldn't return as i didn't notice until too late. Luckily they had replacement parts so had to purchase them for the product to work. Poor communication initially, but prompt with working through purchasing extra parts. Poor quality control perhaps.

Best prices and service – I send all my clients to renovation kingdom so they can select their bathroom and kitchen supplies for our renovation jobs. The staff are always helpful and we always get the products delivered to sure on time. Pricing is the best around too. High quality and highly recommended.

Messy shop – The purchase of the vanity unit is from some time ago but I waited to write a review about the furniture's functionality. area, we were informed that the shop RK is messy, but as we liked the furniture, I returned to the shop to buy it. They asked for full payment as the furniture could be delivered in a few days, however it took a few weeks instead. When installing it, we noticed that the vanity unit had some scratches in the interior, and the top stone had a drainage hole on the incorrect side, which means that the tap water was dropping into the bowl of the vanity unit rather than into its drainage hole. Contacted the store, a new one would be sent to us. Finally, after around 4 months or so, we got the complete set (top stone and furniture), but some, not very noticeable scratch lines in the interior of the vanity unit could be seen, and the doors did not shut properly. It appears that the hinges were not properly installed, and the drawers needed to be fixed because they did not run very well, however we managed to fix the doors and drawers. The shop was expected to take the defective vanity unit when bringing the new one, but they did not. So we had a phone discussion and they sent a truck immediately to pick up their defective one. The storeman from the shop apologized to us for failing to pick up the bad furniture. We went through much stress and frustration, trying to communicate with the store, receiving unnecessary emails stating that they aknowledged our issue; consulting with the store about the reason for sending us those emails and they were not aware of sending them. We also needed a tap, but due to that bad experience, we were prepared to pay a bit more in another shop and have the vanity unit installed.

Not to be trusted for online orders – We submitted an online order 8 weeks ago and still waiting. Only after our first interstate phone call a fortnight ago, the order was confirmed. Yesterday we were informed that the courier had collected the order. The courier also confirmed this but the address was incorrect!111 Someone in Queensland will be receiving our order. Still waiting for follow up from our second complaint.

Poor customer service, nil updates nor options provided – We are disappointed in the 'customer service' we experienced from the North Parramatta store. We purchased items before Christmas last year and it is now almost March and we have had no communication from the store on the whereabouts of our purchase. month, and then we were told it would be the end of the following month. We have been running around in circles and have had to delay our entire project group waiting for these items. We already paid most of the total amount because we thought to come back to purchase more kitchen fittings, but have changed our minds after this experience. We would not recommend this store due to poor customer service, nil communication updates and very poor problem handling skills. No offers were made by them to restore our relationship. All updates had to be initiated by us. If you expect transparency and communication from a business when you've been waiting in silence 2 months after the expected delivery date, this is one place you should avoid.

outstanding service – I had a back to wall bath that was warped _ when I contacted the store Craig handled my issue so professionally. A replacement one was ordered and delivered _ all the way to the Hunter Valley. The damaged one was also returned to the store at their cost. I cannot speak highly enough of the management of this issue. Have used RK several times and every time it has always been a positive and professional experience.

Unfortunately l had purchased headrests that did not fit the conture of the bath and even that was not an issue and were refunded immediately. The customer service, is second to none, even though by phone and the online purchase was extremely easy, for such an expensive item. Excellent range and service – Good to see good old fashioned showrooms with lots on display. Staff were very knowledgeable and delivery went well.. .very cheap compared to a few other stores we went to. All the decent big brands on offer.

Poor service which has now been rectified – After posting this review originally the sales manager phoned to apologise and I received a full refund. I ordered a set of bathroom accessories. One item was discontinued. As all of the items needed to match I cancelled the whole order and was charged a 20% restocking fee.
