Ordered a mattress and funds were debited. Had an email to confirm purchase but no delivery details. NO COMMUNICATION then for over 10 days. Finally after threatening to dispute payment they called and said we don't have the mattress we will credit funds. Now 3 weeks later still no funds back. Emailed and no reply. DO NOT USE

can no longer choose your own products to rent. That was a big plus to pick out exactly what you wanted, after all it is your money that is being spent. Now you're limited to what they've chosen to advertise on their website.

They are scamming low income people What they want for a TV is nearly double to what Good Guys want. $1,648.34 sale of goods by instalment contract for 24 months at an Annual Percentage Rate of 29.60 % p.a. Yet at Good Guys it's $877. You are losing money!

REALLY FRUSTRATED AND ANNOYED – I selected my preferred item to be ordered through rent for Keeps, which was a 8.5kg smart washing machine top load fisher and paykel. Instead I get delivered the complete wrong washer which has affected me being able to wash my clothes as it is not the machine I organised to have sent to me, and therefore cannot take out the box.

They laughed at me, lied and haven't responded – I have used this company twice now once 8 years ago to get a TV and last year to get a couch those went well but I have tried this time to get a tablet and air conditioner and after last time I realised my bank doesn't do third party statements they approved my application with me sending an email of my statements, this time same thing my bank… Read more

does not approve third party bank statements and I provided the same thing as last time I finally get in contact with them after a week of calling and get to speak to someone and try and explain the situation and explain what happened last time and the guy who I was speaking to was laughing at me and I asked to speak to a manger he said he would see what he can do and call me back in which he did and said they would approve my application and about an hour later calls me again and said they can't, so I contacted my bank and got proof they don't accept third party statements and sent them an email and text message multiple times and I have requested calls as well and radio silence from them, this is very unprofessional I thought this was a helpful service for people who need a little help but I think they need to re think their employees as they are pathetic people for laughing at someone

23/12/2025 but received a email from R4K letting me know that they were going on holidays and won't be back until the 12/1/2026. This is not right from any company as I've rented through them before and that cost me $3,500 for a bed. The phone that I wanted is a Samsung Galaxy S25 ultra worth $2,600 and then the care package for the phone turns up later on after the phone is delivered? This information should be on the contract. Not a happy customer and the service is crap. I have sent emails after emails hoping to get my phone by Christmas day but without luck and without answers?

absolutely nothing.

What is most frustrating is the lack of accountability. At one point, they even claimed they "were not aware" I hadn't received the delivery, despite me following up weeks prior. I have now had to go and buy a fridge privately because I cannot go months without an essential household appliance.

I have formally withdrawn from the agreement and demanded a full refund. They were quick enough to access my credit file and take my money, but have failed completely on the delivery and customer service side. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a rental to look elsewhere. Their "WeCare" team clearly does not care about their customers' basic needs.

Would you recommend this business? No.

Called them several times as well and left several message for a call back to know whether my application had been approved after doing this yet to hear how the application went,or a phone call back . All I ask for is information on whether they had declined my application or not I would think that as a customer already the application put in I would have heard by now.

If I could give no stars I would but had to give one so I could submit this Wouldn’t recommend to anyone it’s been 5 weeks since approval and signed the agreement no updates I’ve had to email asking for a update and every reply have been told they haven’t received tracking information from there supplier so don’t bother applying if you want it within a week cause that’s not gonna happen

It’s been 30 days and 21 business days since I ordered my tv. Have emailed them asking for an update with no response. 2 payments made already. I’ve been without a tv for over a month now not happy.

Just applied for a phone everything was easy to fill in the application. The team are helpful advised ke because there is such a high demand for samsung and iphones that there will be a delay for upto 8weeks it may come before then but they just said once they have my tracking number they will send it to me and usually takes 2days from the time… Read more

they receive the tracking number no payment will be made until the phone has been dispatched which I think is good as othe ones like snaffle and gimmie take upfront payments and you still need to pay even if you don't have the product yet.

Update: so just received this msg after 3 long mafuggin months almost 4months

How long did it take to get the goods? Especially a phone? My initial text said 14-21 days? I have made a payment and just shy of 3 weeks and no product. Received the care package within days. But no phone. No tracking or updates. It’s a joke to make people wait that long.

Happy to approve low income families. I see they have changed their name now to just R4K. We were charged 3 times over the retail price on a fridge. The fridge at a little over 2 years old stopped cooling on the top shelf and the top of the door shelf. So after paying out over $3000 we have had to replace our fridge. company again. They should change their name to Rent 2 B Ripped Off. They target low income families as these families cannot get ‘interest free’ set ups with Harvey Norman etc. Afterpay or a Nils loan, both interest free ways to buy household goods. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND R4K to anyone. They overcharge BIG time
