Roborock Q Revo

I have had my Q Revo for over a year now. This thing is the equivalent of a Toyota in robot vacuum cleaner world. The device does all my house upstairs and downstairs. Since being repaired, the Q Revo L has been running smoothly again, and I’m pleased with its performance. The robot started malfunctioning during the warranty period. When I sent it for repair to Roborock, they held it for over four weeks claiming to repair the robot. Save your money and go for any other brand but Roborock. Terrible after sales service and terrible product.

doesn’t have self dosing cleaning solution option but it’s not a problem as you add cleaning liquid to the water tank My house is 3 story but it also got steps on each level between rooms. Not even one room is square or rectangular, yet both robots have no problem to navigate the saved maps ( see attached map) We have floorboards, rugs, concrete and tiles, no issues with cleaning

My big wish to Roborock is - please install a handle to the robot , same design as is on water tanks of S8 Max V ultra , to allow easy carrying of the robot between levels,

Super! – Absolutely love this. We were a bit reluctant because we’re a house of 3 super messy kids but this little beast has done an amazing job. I am super impressed by the vacuuming and mopping. It pits up the itsy bitsy pieces so well. My floors have never looked this clean.

Worth every cent! – I didn’t have high expectations and heard that the mops on robot vacuums weren’t that great but this one is amazing! It’s saved me so much time. It moves around items really easiest, vacuums thoroughly and gets into all the hard to reach places the normal vacuum can’t get to. Perfect perfect perfect!!!... lost for words how brillant this machine is! – This robotic cleaner is just perfect in so many ways. canister and fill up the other one with fresh water. Thats it! Dust bag I havent emptied yet as it has only been 2 weeks since Ive had this beauty. Apparently it will take months till it needs replacing.

The mopping feature is phenomenal in my opinion. I have struggled so much with streaks from normal mopping of my white glossy tiles. No more with my Q revo vacuum. Leaves my tiles shiny and clean. And all with just water! Amazing. You can buy a specific cleaner to add to the water. I am yet to get that because its doing an amazing job with just water!. I am also in disbelief that the kids can walk while its wet from mopping and it does not leave their foot prints on the tiles no more yelling stay away while the floors are drying! One of the best purchases Ive made in a long time.

I also bought this after doing my research and am excited that I can map and use it to do my upstairs bedroom and living areas. It has an on board water chamber whereas other products the machine has to return to its base to wet the mop heads to continuing cleaning.

The app is easy to use too. It tracks its activity and warns you when you need to change/replace things. Only negative is the robot does get tangled on cords, so I created an invisible wall where it wont go near the christmas tree and get caught on the christmas lights.

I have been telling family, friends, and work colleagues how much I am in love with this machine and what a well earned early christmas present to one tired running around mumma this is.

Also a very quiet machine where my dog refuses to move! Hence see the video where I had to keep her lol

Roborock Q Revo is the best time saver – This has got to be one of the best buys I’ve done. It saves me so much time which is priceless in this day and age. It vacuums and mops efficiently and the mapping on the app is excellent. It does my carpet and tiles and it even self cleans the mops when they get dirty. The mop drying component is excellent too. *Efficient cleaning, even when mopping *Works both quickly and quietly *Smart mapping and navigation technology *Features like lifting mop pads, mop drying,a self-emptying docking station, and mobile app. *Excellent at removing long hair which used to get tangled in my stick vacuum and had to be cut with scissors.

Cons

*Less good at avoiding some obstacles like flattish table legs *Expensive upfront cost but boy is it worth it :)

I’m really disappointed with my experience with Roborock. The vacuum I bought was faulty and leaked water, damaging my hardwood floor. We have had the Roborock Q-revo for approx 5 months (purchased Harvey Norman Maroochydore 14/10/2024). Overall it does a good job but we have had a problem with the Velcro strips coming off the mop mount leaving the mop clothes on the floor. inquiry. Roborocks support was absolutely horrible. It was very clear that they don't know their own product as they kept sending me a link to the mop clothes and not the mop mount. I supplied a photo of the mop mount and was then referred to their AU support team.

I was told that the mop head is not available to order online and they don't do replacement velcro strips. I asked about replacement under warranty of the mop heads and was told by David that "Unfortunately, we cannot cover this under warranty because it is prone to wear and tear." Seriously, after 5 months and if it is a part that is known to wear out, why can't it be ordered from their website? David then told me that replacement mop heads would need be ordered from their warehouse and couldn't give me a price and I would have to wait until they arrive in stock.

We paid almost $1500 for this and it isn't even 1 year old and this is the abysmal after sales service they provide hence the low rating. Personally, knowing this I would buy another brand.

Update: After having to follow up with Roborock support, again, a quote for the mop mounts has been received. Roborock replacement price for 2 x mop mounts is $69.90. I have since found replacements availavle on Amazon for $42.00 AUD delivered on Amazon.

It mops!! It’s automatic!!! Thats a total game changer for someone having quicksteps floor which are so difficult to clean. it washes the mop, suck the dust bin and do everthing you set it to do on a routine - super effectively. all that is requires is adding clean water and tip over the dirty water once you receive a notification. Great unit, easy delivery – Rapid dispatch and delivery. Setup was pretty straightforward and with clear instructions. Actual function of the vacuum is far better than I imagined. This is my first robot vacuum and it is just fabulous. Maintaining the unit is very straightforward because of how the dock works although if you have pets there is a tendency for clumps of hair to be caught in the chute between the vacuum's outlet port and the dock's vacuum bag. Show details

9 months the wifi decided to stop working! I was on the phone to Roborock for 3 hours. Repeating reset after reset. I returned the product to the seller they experienced the same error. The product has now been sent back to Roborock and awaiting outcome.
