Rocket Removals were recommended by one of my workmates and from the initial phone call where they quoted me the truck size and cost (both dead on) to the day prior phone call from Eddie prepping us for our move and how to sort out parking the following day we felt very confident.

Eddie & Pete turned up right when they said they would (in fact 2 mins early) and were so professional and understanding of our move requirements. We had a lot of little stuff like boxes on top of the big stuff so our move took about 7 hours but this was totally expected. They were both so careful with our belonging and ensured they were all packed into the truck well and safe.

Upon arrival at our new home they made sure it was a short run to our front door to speed up time and once again unpacked safely. Not a single one of our belongings was damaged in anyway. Both my partner and i can’t thank Eddie and Pete enough, it truly did help us really enjoy our new home with out the stress of moving day! Thank you again!

Ok, but beware of moving large house – We used Rocket Removals to just move our large / heavy furniture, appliances from a 4 bedroom house because of all the outstanding reviews they had on this website. a second load for the furniture. At the time they had spent almost 3 hours and still around 40% items to be loaded. Most of the time lead mover stayed in the truck and instructed other assisting movers to bring items. I felt he is deliberately delaying the moving process. When I spoke to him about it, he said if I don’t like their work they will pack up and go. Which I didn’t expect to hear. However, at the end they took almost 4.5 hours to load. The overall job took over 7 hours and costs more than $1300. They are not bad but beware of moving large houses with them as moving costs can soar unexpectedly.

Very careful movers – We moved across Melbourne (pretty easy move - single story units both ends, less than 15 km). We were being pretty cash-conscious, so we only hired Rocket Removals to take the large and heavy bits of furniture. with our things. Only sore spot was that they were very late (more than 2 hours). We had the afternoon shift, and the morning client apparently went way over time. This meant that the truck was travelling during peak hour traffic, so we payed twice as much in travel costs. I understand that it would have been really unprofessional to bail on the morning client, but surely it happens all the time that people underestimate the sheer volume of their stuff? To get 5 stars, I think Rocket removals could get a little more savvy with handling these curve balls so that their afternoon clients aren't inconvenienced.

Would I hire again? Probably.

experts at packing my very limited storage space. They checked in with me if there were any questions and communicated clearly. Great value for money as far as I am concerned. I will be using them again when I need to unpack. Can highly recommend them.

Great removalist -highly recommend – Eddy and Andreas turned up on time, were polite and friendly, even let the kids help with the job. Most importantly though they were very careful with our belongings, nothing damaged, they asked where everything had to be put down. They worked hard, only stopping when we asked them to for morning tea and lunch. Made our moving day so relaxed and enjoyable. Highly recommend these guys if you want a job well done. Ask for Eddie and Harry - super team – Rocket Removals were great. The team of Eddie and Harry were amazing. Organised, on time, explained the process, explained the costs .... and moved everything efficiently and carefully. I had to move a small house worth of packaged furniture from the city to a rural location. Eddie even called 2 days before to reconfirm the address etc etc

the company following that was a painful experience. I had to keep calling and following up. It took almost a month before someone looked into my issue.

It's worked out okay in the end. I would've rated them positively had it not been for the post-transaction support and refund conditions. The damages weren't a big deal, but following up on their no damage guarantee was frustrating. Also, the condition they make you agree to in order to get your refund includes not publishing / removing any negative reviews. That came across rather unscrupulous.

better to go someone else, this is crap removals dont used them – 2 Bedroom house, just 2No. queen bed, 4No. cabinet, 2No. sofa, 1No. fridge, 1No. T.V 1No. T.v unit, 5No. boxes, 1No. massage chair, 1No. washing machine maybe couple small things takes them 6 hour from Narre Warren to Doncaster. it was a single house, easy to access, takes them 3 hr to load all this items into truck. maybe i am not in this industry, so maybe for some of you thats reasonable time, but too me its too much mucking around.

schedule at 8am then worked continuously until 11am and had a short break then filled the 12 ton truck by 1.00pm. They also moved the truck on 2 occasions to allow a neighbour to gain access to her property. At 11am Eddie realised that the truck was not big enough to take all our belongings and he organised a second truck to arrive at 1.40pm where Derek and another diligently picked up the mirrors and odds and ends for another hour and cleared our old house At the delivery end the guys positioned and reassembled the furniture over a 3 hour period and my wife and I were very well pleased with their effort. We would recommend Rocket Removals (who were recommended to us by our Real Estate Agent Morrison Kleeman) based on work effort, care, and safety in all their actions. Thanks guys you were great.

Ash and Sam were fantastic! A move can be super stressful, but it makes all the difference having the right guys for the job. They were calm, friendly, experienced, super efficient and went above and beyond with helping set up things. A wonderful job – Right from the beginning, the office staff were friendly and very helpful. On the day the crew were timely, caring of items and efficient. Fantastic service !!!!!! – Eddie phoned the night before to confirm everything was in hand, that was the beginning of a very smooth move from our 3 level townhouse in inner Melbourne down to the Mornington Peninsula. Nothing was too much trouble for Eddie and Kevin, they happily moved furniture into storage and placed our furniture wherever requested. Professional quick and effective movers – Eddie and Tony were great, they called the night before the moving day to confirm access. We downsized from a 3 bedroom townhouse to a 2 bedder. They were very careful not to damage anything and assisted us in setting up the washing machine/taps. Everything went smoothly on the day and they were true to their word that it would be approx 6hours work. Highly recommended and very friendly removalists.

Super Friendly and Efficient – I moved from 2 bedroom unit. Two guys were super friendly. First they planned how to They gonna load the things before randomly picking up items. They didn’t waste any time loading or unloading items. Highly recommened.

moving items from my storage facility and another house, to another house, all 30 mins from each other. 2 bedroom apartment. The move started and finished on time, all my items were protected and delivered safely, the delivery people were friendly and helpful, and it was all surprisingly quick and painless. I've had bad experiences moving before but Rocket Removals were amazing. I did a fair bit of research before moving, and Rocket was clearly the most value for money. Nothing was too much trouble – The team from Rocket (led by Pablo and Enrico) were excellent. They worked hard and were very careful, nothing was too hard and there was no complaints. They made the move from the Mornington Peninsula to the city as least stressful as possible. We highly recommend Rocket and their staff.

Great experience – Overall experience was very nice. Eddie and Tony were very efficient and professional. The move involved a 2 bedroom apartment near city to a suburb and took one full day. The staff maintained the energy and tempo all through and kept it cool. They even helped assemble my new furniture. Eddie provided excellent guidance as well on DIY house maintenance. Will recommend without blinking an eye.

Great service – I moved from an upstairs 2 bedroom unit to a 3 bedroom house in the same suburb. The move started a little late (30 mins) but I was called and notified. Sam and his assistant were efficient and hard workers. I was impressed with the customer service approach throughout the move. Clear communication, fair pricing and I felt my belongings were looked after. I’ll definitely use Rocket Removals again.
