Please avoid this company, as they feel quite dodgy. I paid for a product and was told to wait three months for it to be manufactured and delivered. After three months and multiple follow-ups, I was told the order was delayed with no confirmed new delivery date. Because they don’t pick up phone calls, I messaged their customer support team… Read more

numerous times. They finally agreed to a refund and told me to wait 30 business days—after which, no refund arrived. It has now been two months past those 30 business days, and despite at least 20 follow-ups, all I get is an AI chatbot repeating that my experience is "unacceptable" and that my request has been "escalated." That is the extent of their support. To make matters worse, a friend of mine who ordered the product well before me actually received it, but it stopped working after two months. They had to send the machine back, and it has now been six months with no replacement or reply. If anyone is thinking of buying from this company, please do your due diligence and steer clear.

I placed an order in April for parts for my rotimatic, which has not yet been delivered. No response from customer service even after multiple follow ups. They take your money in an instant but cannot fulfil the orders or even bother to reply. It's businesses like these that break the trust of their customers. Do not buy from them. Show details

It’s disappointing to see a company charging premium prices while offering virtually no customer service. order in April, and after more than three months it still hasn't been delivered. The order has been stuck in "Quality Check" the entire time. The estimated delivery date passed over three weeks ago, yet there has been no update, either from the support team or on the customer portal. This level of service is unacceptable.

Poor customer support. Owning this product means spending an unreasonable amount of time and energy just to get basic issues addressed. Support is slow, repetitive, and ineffective, with no clear escalation path. Instead of the company taking responsibility, the customer ends up paying with their own time and effort to chase solutions. For a premium product, this level of support is unacceptable. Show details

valuable Machine with Good Output – Excellent Machine , Interesting Application. Very good support team. Rotis in the first couple of years were really good. Quality declined a bit in last 1-2 years. We got help from support team and now quality is improving again. Machine has become really noisy since the last few years. But one can bear that to get some automated Rotis :) Show details ·  1

We have had a defective machine, it took them weeks to come to that conclusion. And now since they have told us they'll replace it, we have been consistently chasing them. Every step (Sending return label and now asking for when our replacement will arrive) appears to be designed to be extensively delayed. A complete opposite of how they behave before you buy your first one. We have been without using the Rotimatic for nearly 2 months now. Show details

Good machine with a few hiccups BUT excellent customer service – Good concept, very convenient and customer service is brilliant. I ordered the Rotimatic Next in November 2025 for around AUD $2,200, with a promised delivery timeframe of 6–8 weeks. By the end of January, I had still received nothing. After contacting customer support, they offered $100 cashback and a one-year… Read more

extended warranty due to the delay and assured me that a tracking number would be provided shortly. Two weeks passed with no update. I reached out again, and even after three and a half months from the original order date, there was still no clear information about my shipment.

When I finally decided to cancel the order, it took almost four days and multiple emails just to process the cancellation. It has now been two weeks since cancellation, and I still have not received my refund. To make matters worse, I received an email about the next installment being charged to my card.

This has been a terrible experience from start to finish. When a company charges a premium price, customers expect premium service. Unfortunately, the customer support was extremely disappointing and the entire experience felt very concerning.

I would not recommend spending your hard-earned $2,000+ on this product given the lack of communication, delays, and refund issues. If I could give zero stars for service and support, I would — but one star is the minimum allowed.

Follow-up  · Still refund not issued… after almost 2 months and no one responding from customer support

After 6 years of using the rotimatic, I've now upgraded to rotimatic next. The reason for the upgrade: they advertised it was quieter. That's really all I wanted as I live in an apartment and the first editions are as loud as a vacuum cleaner. Did it deliver? In terms of quietness YES! It's at least 90% quieter than the previous models. It's… Read more

also much easier and quicker to clean. No more rubber seals to take out and clean and lubricate. Just 2 pieces , rinse and return.

It still makes the same roti as the previous model. Not much has changed there.

It still takes the same amount of time to warm up. 6 mins but takes additional 4 mins to calibrate. They really should update the unit so it calibrates and starts making the doe while warming up.

I love how it no longer asks me what type of flour (atta) I am using. It tries to guess it on its own as it makes the first few batches. It does seem to slightly undercook the first few batches in some areas. Hopefully a new firmware update will fix this.

update: massive flaw!!! - I'm dropping it down from 5 stars to 4 stars only because it has one flaw. If during a roti making there is a failed step, after chucking out the failed roti, the entire unit goes into calibration mode for 8 mins. It won't resume cooking straight away like the old unit. This is extremely inconvenient . The family is just sitting there waiting for the unit to resume.

The build quality feels cheaper. You can tell it's designed for mass market. I hope it lasts as long as the previous models.

I still overall love this unit. I think after a few months it will be tweaked to fix all my concerns.

I was also confused at the time of my purchase after reading many reviews that that were mixed in the end I want to make anyone deciding on purchasing rotimatic to ask themselves if they are good at following instructions and maintaining gadgets. They should definitely go for it.

However if you are someone with a personality that just doesn't get it and want it to function no matter what because you paid for support.

then you should definitely stay away from this machine it will never be a happy replacement for you.

Happy with the purchase so far, it has become a very important device for us – I was skeptical about buying this for years, but I finally took the plunge a couple of months ago. Here's a balanced look at its pros and cons: Pros: - Absolute time saver - Both my kids love the rotis it makes and they themselves make rotis whenever they want too - You get fresh rotis any time - My wife is more relaxed, knowing she doesn’t… Read more ·  1

have to worry about making enough rotis or feeling guilty if the kids are hungrier than expected. If you usually make rotis, you'll appreciate this even more. - Cleaning takes 30 seconds, just brush off excess flour an pop 3 parts into dishwasher. - When we had guests, kids volunteered to make rotis, it's fun to make and watch (at least till novelty wears off). - Like the taste

Cons: The machine is well-built, but the software needs serious improvement. Here’s what I experienced. On the very first use, it was no easy task to get it to make rotis. Had to reach out to support on their app to get it sorted. Here is what happened: 1: Machine refused to take any water ending up with mess of dry flour inside the machine. Anti-climax for all of us waiting and watching for first roti to come out. It kept complaining that flour is blocked or something whereas real problem was related to water. Had to use advanced cleaning cycle to probably prime water pump for first use.. This should have been in instructions OR machine should have been programmed to prime itself on first use. After that initial glitch, we never had a problem though. 2: Machine refuses to start with power button. This is a capacitive touch button. Had a chat session with support and they suggested tapping power button followed by tapping 4th button from left. This starts the machine every time! Again a software issue that shouldn't have been there. 3: Wifi connectivity is hit and miss. It will connect sometimes and not most of the times. But you don't usually need wifi unless you are looking for a new brand of flour I suppose. 4: App was showing random warrantee periods. I contacted their support and was told that there is an issue with their database and they are fixing it. According to the app, my 2 month old machine is already out of 1 year warrantee! I had purchased the machine with 3 year extended warrantee. Again software issue that is easily fixable and shouldn't have been there. 5: Once novelty wears off, you realise it's noisy. We keep it in pantry room which has its own door to solve the problem. 6: Rotis get a little chewy if you keep them for later.

Overall: Happy with the purchase so far, it has become a very important device for us. Machine build quality and functionality is very good. It makes perfect rotis every time if you understand the quirks (i.e. how to turn it on consistently and quickly using sequence of buttons). It saves a lot of time and you get unlimited supply of rotis. Just because of negative reviews, I purchased maximum possible extended warrantee for peace of mind, hope I don't need to use it.

solution. After repeatedly requesting assistance from a live agent, I was told that a support representative would call me after 4:00 PM CST on June 18. No one ever called.

Since then, I have sent multiple follow-up messages and escalation requests, yet I still have not received a response from a live customer service representative. For a premium appliance that costs this much, I expected much better support. The machine itself is only as good as the support behind it, and unfortunately, when something goes wrong, getting help appears to be very difficult. The lack of communication, missed commitments, and inability to reach a live person have left me extremely frustrated.

I hope Rotimatic improves its customer service process and starts honoring callback commitments. Until then, potential buyers should consider not only the product but also the level of support they may receive if they encounter problems. People planning to buy this product please be AWARE!!!

Very disappointed.

Faulty Product & Ignoring Australian Consumer Law Very disappointing experience with the Rotomatic Next. The machine broke within less than a month of normal use while making rotis. something that can be fixed through basic troubleshooting. Despite contacting customer support numerous times, I have been repeatedly asked the same troubleshooting questions that I have already answered. No return label, replacement, or resolution has been provided. This is causing unnecessary delay and frustration. Under the Australian Consumer Law, products must be of acceptable quality, durable, and fit for purpose. A failure within such a short period clearly qualifies as a major failure, and I am entitled to a replacement or refund. Ongoing delays and refusal to act are not acceptable and do not comply with these legal obligations. If this matter is not resolved immediately by issuing a return label and confirming a replacement or refund, I will have no option but to escalate the complaint to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and relevant consumer protection bodies. I strongly advise others to reconsider before purchasing, given both the product quality and lack of after-sales support.

If you want, I can make an even more forceful version that directly threatens chargeback or Fair Trading NSW action.

and no replacement.

I have sent multiple emails and messages. Not a single meaningful reply. No timeline. No ownership. Just silence.

This is unacceptable for a product in this price range. When a company asks a customer to take action, they must follow through. In this case, they have failed completely.

The most frustrating part is not just the faulty machine, it is the lack of communication. Delays can happen. But ignoring customers is not acceptable.

I am now left without a working machine and without any support. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the Rotimatic Plus to anyone. If after sales service matters to you, think twice before buying.

I don’t usually leave public reviews, but my experience with Rotimatic has been so frustrating and poorly handled that I feel the need to warn others. After a lot of hesitation, I finally spent the money… Read more

and placed the order.

The first issue was delivery. It took months to arrive, and when it finally did, it was delivered to the wrong unit number — even though I entered my address correctly. I only found out because my neighbor contacted me. While I was understanding about delays due to international shipping, this was still concerning.

Once I had the machine, things got worse. I was never able to use it even a single time. It kept throwing error messages, so I contacted customer support. I spent hours over several weeks going back and forth with them trying to fix the issue. They were unable to resolve it, and during one of their remote troubleshooting attempts, the machine actually short-circuited. At that point, it became a safety concern.

After waiting months for delivery and weeks for support, I was left with a machine that never worked.

When I asked to return it, they kept pushing discounts and replacement offers instead of processing the return. After everything that had already happened — especially the short-circuiting — I no longer felt comfortable bringing another machine into my home. It took multiple attempts just to get the return approved.

After I returned the machine, communication almost completely stopped. I’ve been trying for weeks to get updates on my refund. Most of the time, I get no response at all. When I do hear back, it’s vague messages like “someone will be in touch,” and then nothing happens. I’ve been passed between different people with no clear answers and no resolution.

What makes this even more unacceptable is that the refund delay has gone well beyond the timelines and commitments outlined in their own refund policies on their website. At this point, they have the product I paid for and they are still holding my money.

As of today, I have not received my refund.

When a company takes your money, takes back the product, ignores its own written policies, and refuses to provide clear communication, it starts to feel less like incompetence and more like bad faith. In my opinion, this experience borders on a scam and is incredibly concerning.

Even if there were legitimate processing delays, I would expect honest communication. That hasn’t happened. This entire experience has been a huge waste of time, money, and emotional energy.

I can’t even comment on the actual product performance because I never got the chance to use it. Based on my experience, I seriously question how genuine the overwhelmingly positive reviews online really are.

I would strongly caution anyone considering this purchase to think very carefully before spending their money.

Review for Rotimatic Next This is their newer version of rotimatic launched in 2025 or somewhere around then. really care, or they launched the product without sufficient trials.

Key pain points: 1) Needs 2.5 GB bandwidth necessarily. Was not mentioned as a necessity on their sales/ order page. I have 5GB at USA home, and had to make new wifi connection, simply for this machine! 2) HORRIBLE customer Service. They were not really able to give me any pointers. The fact that you can't speak to anyone is just the pits. I had to interact with customer service, 1 whatsapp text at a time!! 3) Complete lack of User manual. The User manual gives absolutely no directions except for asking to scan the QR code on the unit's interface, and the QR code is not getting scanned due to wifi being higher than what they designed machine for. Quite a ridiculous design/ thought process, in this day and age 4) Most rotis are not fully cooked. Either the sides or part in between are uncooked 5) If the machine just finished making the last roti per initial count, and I needed to cook more rotis, it gets all confused and gets into some weird loop where it just keeps needing more time to warm up. It becomes dangerously hot near the machine. I have to manually unplug the machine lest it trip a breaker in the house. Sometimes it does not get into the loop, and still takes 3 more minutes of reheating, and then makes the additional count of rotis. The original model never had this problem. 6) No option to power off the machine except when the interface brings up the option 7) When i give a frowny face and i get the options to select what happened, no option for the following: 7a) for indicating split dough ball 7b) stuck dough ball (which is dangerous to retrieve in the NEXT design, so one has to fully shut off machine) 7c) roti came out as a cooked dough ball without any flattening

I have given a lot of details already. Plenty more that I can give. Totally unsatisfied user.
