Can you get replacement isolator switch for HBS 150 L?
Possibly. Bunnings Special Orders desk usually have technical parts diagrams. If you can locate the correct part number you might be able to order it in. I can't say for sure because I've never ordered one, I only over used them when replacing parts on my Ryobi thicknesser.
where to buy band saw blades for it?
I used to buy them at bunnings but they phased them out once they stopped selling the bandsaw itself. So you might find eBay retailers selling them ( make sure you get the correct length) or a local saw blade sharpener might make one up for you.
I have just received new band saw tyre's of course they are a lot smaller should i soke them in hot water? pry to fitting them as it took 2 mths to get them and i dont want to damage them
Sorry Kieth, I do not have any experience replacing the tyres on the wheels of a bandsaw. Possibly your idea warming them in hot water is a good one before fitting them as it would allow them to stretch over the lip of the wheels with a lesser chance of breaking.
I'm not sure, I've never had to replace worn tyres on a bandsaw. It makes sense but I'm not sure if it deteriorates the rubber.
Thank you John will try that..Keith
New bandsaw tyres do take a fair bit of stretching initially! Hot water will help. Easier when you have two people to put them on, otherwise work them on with two clamps.
Looking to buy Ryobi (GMC) 150mm Band Saw Blade course can you help?
Hi Kevin, I looked on line (Google "bandsaw blades") and found a local supplier that fabricated bandsaw blades to order. Take your old blade along and they will measure it so the size is correct. You will also find you can get different tooth types to suit the material you are trying to cut.
Good luck
John
