Hi, I have purchase the rinse and ring mop, used it the first I ever no trouble but I am trying to use the second time and can’t get it to go into the bucket without it trying to take off the pad when it goes in, tried turning the pad around and using another pad but doing the same thing……

Hi Vicky, Thank you for your message. You need to make sure that the pad is also hooked into the tabs on the mop head before stuck down on the velcro. If you still require any further help please contact us at ask.sabco@sabco.com.au. Thank you

Hi Sarah, There is a little button on the handle that you need to push down and have aligned with the hole in the mop ferrule. Once these marry up it pops into the hole and is secured. If you need any further assistance please contact us on 1800 066 522 or ask.sabco@sabco.com.au

I have purchase 2 packets ( 2 mop heads in each) and each first use the sponge has come away from the mop - the glue was not strong enough. Was not from over use or over pushing. I will have to change mops because it has happened also in the past. Not very happy. Can you assist?

Nick
Nick

You can use a screw or rivet in your case mine the plastic actually snapped, I love the mop so much I modified the handle. Hope Sabco upgrades this part. Glue you could use is Araldite apply it & leave over night til it sets.

Sabco

Thanks Karen, I would appreciate that.

Thanks Sabco, but I think you are missing the point that all the customers are clearly illustrating. People don't want a replacement. We just want a reliable product that works and won't break.

Sabco
Sabco   DM

Hi Annamaria, Thank you for your feedback, and yes you are absolutely right, that's why we have recently improved the design. We want our customers to be happy with our products but also give them all the assistance we can if there are any issues with our mops. Cheers

Please tell me what sabco has done to fix the problems that I have been reading about in the reviews, handle breaking, new sponges not going on properly or staying on, buckets breaking buckets leaking there are so many other problems that I have read about what have you done about them. At the moment I Need a new mop so why should I choose a rinse n wrong.

Peter Woodville
Peter Woodville

Sabco offered to replace the damaged parts but I had already returned the entire unit to Bunnings for a full refund. I didn't get a chance to find out if the replacement parts were a viable upgrade on the originals. I was just a little annoyed that it didn't last the distance. The action and usability of the mop and bucket seemed very good for the couple of minutes that I used it before the failure of the 'knuckle' joint between the handle and the mop head made it unusable. We used to live about half a block from a Sabco factory so we always tended to buy local whenever we could.

Wendy Cowperthwaite

Thank you I don’t think I will buy one any way

Good Morning, I completely understand the concern, and with the Rinse n' Wring, it has had improvements from the manufacture to fix the issue. However we do offer a 2 year warranty on all our mop, for peace of mind. Please let us know if you have any questions. Cheers

From comments made here earlier it seems that Sabco may have redesigned the deficient components connecting the handle to the mop-head. How have those parts been upgraded to attain the required strength in these critical components? Even in the very short time between unpacking and failure of the unit I purchased, I could see that it worked very well so I was very disappointed when the plastic mop-head connection shattered. There is somewhat of a possibility that I could be convinced to try another one.

Sabco

Apologies that this has broken, it's certainly not the experience we want you to have. We are always working with our manufactures to improve on our products. This product comes with a 2 year warranty, and we would be happy to send you a replacement mop head. Please send us you address and mobile number at social@sabco.com.au

Thank you for your response. However, a replacement mop head will not be of any use as I have already returned the entire mop/bucket set to Bunnings and obtained a full refund.

Hi, similar to others in the channel, mop head broke off - can't find a replacement for it as the handle is fine but can't find another mop head to attach on it, don't want to buy another set just replace the mop head - is there a stronger mop head .. it seems the plastic is quite weak - bought this at the beginning of the year.

Peter Woodville
Peter Woodville

Hello Victor. While Bunning's almost instantaneous offer of a complete replacement was appreciated I couldn't see the point, just to have another unit with exactly the same design fault. For me a full refund was the only way forward. I purchased it on Saturday and returned it on Sunday after it failed with only 2 minutes or so of use.

Can you get replacement mop. My head broke after 3 uses on one side and now difficult to pull through bucket. Like the idea but clips need to be sturdier. I brought mine at buntings about 4 mths ago and forgot about it being broken so thought would try and get new mop head.

Hi there,

How can I identitify of the product on the shelves at bunnings are the new improved mop heads that don't break as easily?

Thank you

Sabco
Sabco   DM

Hi, visually there is no change to the product. We have made several iterations to the plastic and the quality. These sell through as normal so it will depend on the sales rate of the store you go to. Cheers

We purchased a mop today and we want to know if you can use cleaning agents or is it only water.

Ian

We have just purchased a mop today and was wondering what cleaning agents can be used. Can we use metho, or a timber floor cleaning agent etc Ian Boyd

bellbrandy
bellbrandy

I'm no expert, just a consumer but from what I've read and seen on TV ads I use floor cleaner that I bought from the Supermarket and disinfectant.

Sabco
Sabco   DM

Hi Ian, You can use whatever you want really. However, we always suggest being careful as harsh chemicals will affect the microfibre and can damage hardwood floors. Things like bleach and metho will be bad for the mop refills. I would suggest external link  But anything natural will work fine. Cheers
