Sabco Supadry Spin Mop & Bucket

Best mop I've ever used – I have used many mops from many different brands and this is by far the best. It's lightweight and easy to manouver. You can really control the amount of water left on the mop head. The metal spinner does the best job of removing water so you can control how wet the mop is. Even my partner commented on how good it was. I've spent more on a similar mop from another brand and it wasn't nearly as good.
Purchased in at Bunnings Warehouse for $45.
Hated it so much I returned it to Bunnings – How anyone can make a mop and bucket so awkward to use is beyond me. The bucket is too large for starters. If you half fill it with water and try to carry it with the spinner in place - the water tilts back towards the spinner end. If you remove the spinner to carry it (which is ridiculous to have to do) it doesn’t tip straight away. But you better not move your hand even a little. All the water will tip to one end. If you carry it with the spinner in, and the mop in the water it balances a bit better, but it’s really awkward to carry such a big bucket with the mop in it too.
To spin.....OMG. you have to make sure the handle is perfectly straight so it fits over the spindle. Then you have to unlock the handle and push down. It does spin well. However, there’s an art in getting that handle straight. And if you forget to close the level back up to lock, the handle retracts.
I found this to be the worst mop and bucket system I have ever come across in 67 years. I used it twice and took it back. It didn’t need to be that hard.
Sorry Sabco I don’t think I’ve ever written a review on a product that I felt was this bad. I don’t like to find all negatives. But honestly I struggled to even say it spins well.

Hi Maggie- We're really sorry to hear this. If you give us a call on 1800 066 522 our customer service team will be happy to help. Thanks
Thank you for your reply. However I have returned the item back to the store and been given a refund.
We're sad that this product wasn't right for you, but pleased that the store was able to give you a refund. Thanks
This is a great mop but the handle is far too short. I use the mop for about 45 minutes a day and always get a backache. Apparently there isn’t a longer handle for it which means I’ll have to buy the competitors mop and bucket just to get a longer handle. The spinner at the bottom of the rinse bucket is redundant as far as I’m concerned and so is… Read more
the little plug at the bottom but that doesn’t affect my opinion of it. If I could get a longer handle I would leave a 5 star review.

Not the best but not the worst – Updated review…..can’t rate a 5 star but being really picky, has definitely grown on me as a really decent mop for home especially compared to everything else I’ve tried currently available. Not the best for the stairs but overall stands up well for durability and does a pretty good job! Not the worst but not great. Understating now the reviews… Read more · 1
about the pole length and annoying you have to reset every time you spin it to make it function. It does have better ability to get into corners than some other brands but still used with a leading cleaning product doesn’t seem to clean that great. Absorbency is okay compared to other but not fabulous. Spin function is effective though. Purchased as I wanted 2 sets for use by my teen son and I upstairs and downstairs for a small home. Wasn’t what we need to accommodate the stair cleaning and small gaps and should be priced lower for what it’s worth. We will keep looking for a better suited mop for our home.
Purchased his Product a few years ago and just love it unfortunately the collar cracked so i wrote to them & Sabco are sending me a replacement part, im so happy as this mop & bucket makes my cleaning so much easier. Thankyou Sabco Show details · 2
Follow-up · Slate tiles, & ceramic tiles. Twice a week mopping is done. The collar lasted 5 years.

Sabco, good mop and fantastic staff – We purchased the Sabco Supadry Spin Mop and Bucket from Bunnings about a year ago, and it has quickly become one of the best cleaning tools we've ever used on our wooden floors. It’s efficient, gentle, and just the right fit for the job! Recently, however, we noticed a small issue with the mop—the neck of the handle started to crack. After some… Read more · 1
fruitless searching for a replacement, I reached out to Sabco, and I’m so glad I did. Justine from their customer service team was a pleasure to deal with. She was not only responsive but also genuinely helpful in sorting out the issue. Within no time, we received a replacement neck for our mop, and everything was back to perfect working condition.
It’s rare to find a company that truly stands behind its products, and Sabco has definitely proven they do. We’re incredibly grateful for their excellent customer service and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, quality cleaning products. Thanks again, Sabco!
Unbelievable service – I contacted Sabco about my locking clip on my spinning mop was broken & the response from the customer service was outstanding. I received my handle today delivered to my doorstep free of charge & the locking clip & the handle is much better than the last one I had before. Thank you Sabco for your outstanding service. Excellent mop except for – I bought this mop from Bunnings in December 2020 as we cannot use a steam mop on our vinyl planking floors. I began using the Sabco Spray Mop in 2019 when we moved into our new home, I thought it was very easy to use and did a good job at cleaning our floors. When the pump inside the bottle cracked, I looked around for an alternative style of… Read more · 3
mop, that was when I found the Sabco Supadry Spin Mop at Bunnings.
The difference in the cleaning ability of both mops was like night & day, the Supadry Spin Mop really showed us what the Spray Mop was leaving behind. When I read the feedback and complaints about the plastic clip breaking on the handle on Product Review, I thought to myself surely it cannot be that bad and made a mental note not to be rough with mine. After 7 months I learned what others were complaining about, the clip on my handle shattered. Looking closely it would appear to me that the plastics used in the construction of this mop and the Spray mop are not up to the job, mind you I am no plastics expert. I do hope that Sabco look into the quality of the plastic used for the handle clip.
In closing I'd like to say that to Sabco's credit, they have advised me that they will be replacing the handle, Thanks Ana.
Love my sabco super dry spin mop.❤️❤️❤️ – Definitely the best mop I’ve used, love it except the piece In the photo broke & I’m unable to buy a spare part for it, I have searched Bunnings but they didn’t have it.❤️❤️ Show details · 3
Um, plastic parts not reliable – Hi Sabco, I really like this mop. It is extremely easy to use, i normally mop every two week but after my Christmas holiday. I just found the green plastic part for tighten the handle and mop head is crack, I don’t think this place supposed broken as I never touch it after first time installed. now I am not able to use it at all, it keep loose, handle and mop head not able to stick together. I am a professional cleaner. I saw this on sale but did not believe it would be suitable for cleaning the house (we have wooden floors) but could be useful for cleaning paving around the pool. After using it for that purpose, I was impressed, and gave it a go cleaning my wooden floors. IT IS GREAT! I was using the mopping pads but found the spin dry to be better, easier, and quicker. Have had this mop for quite a few years now I love it. Although the newer version where the water goes in they have another peice to put mop on to it is ridiculous. Just leave it as it was. Show details · 1

Great mop easy to use – It’s a great mop but the green plastic screw part to hold the handle in to the mop keeps breaking and I keep taking a new one out of the box at my local retailer so could you please sell that part as a separate purchase Show details · 1

Was a great design – I had a sabco mop and bucket that I purchased a few years ago and had no issues with it at all, but left it somewhere, so had to purchase a new one. I went with another sabco because I thought that spending a bit extra was worth it for a good product. I have to say that the new "improved" model isn't really up to scratch. I find that the screw… Read more
mechanism on the handle is a bad design - half the time I find myself unscrewing the handle! The lever mechanism was much better and no doubt easier to use for many. The other issue is the spinner at the bottom of the bucket (not the drying spinner) - I personally don't find it useful and if the mop isn't straight when you put it on the spinner, you have to adjust it so that it is straight before you spin for it to work. Sometimes when you're on to a good thing, you should stick to it! I've given 3 stars because it still mops well, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to continue to use it.

Great Mop - Handle is too short and hurts my back – I have now had 4 of the Sabco Spin Dry Mop & Bucket sets. Recently my 3rd mop had issues with the clamp when spinning (to get rid of excess water) which was the problem with the other 2. The handle has always been too short so I used a handle part from another mop handle supplier and lengthened the mop handle to a comfortable size so as not to… Read more
cause my back to ache. When I bought the new Sabco Mop and Bucket set from Bunnings last week I noticed that they had improved the clamp but the handles would not allow me to use my old handle to lengthen the handle size. Result - the mop handle is too short and my back aches when I use it. I have read through reviews and am surprised that nobody has also brought this up.

mop lock – Bought from Bunnings for $45 only few months ago. The the clip on the handle broke suddenly and thus cannot hold the mop properly when mopping the floor because the tool keeps falling due to broken lock. Cannot find new mop separately. Moreover, screw of the mophead always scratches the floor as fibre are not long enough. Show details

Sabco Spin Mop and Bucket Gen2 - Abhorrent – My Sabco Spin Mop broke at the shaft so I sent my Husband to Bunnings to get a new Mop. He was told he had to buy the package of the Mop and the Bucket which he did. Unfortunately, I am pretty annoyed with the Gen2 Bucket and I have to ask who designed the Gen 2? I don't think it is possible that a Female designed it because it just does not make… Read more
any sense at all to have made those changes. Number 1 - why would you add another "spin" to the bottom of the bucket? As far as I'm concerned if you needed to "spin twice" to get rid of debris on the mop then you most definitely should not be washing the floor. No floor should ever be that dirty prior to washing it, it just defies logic. Number 2 - why would you add a "tap" to the bottom of the bucket. We all know how hot water and plastic/rubber react over time and if the "tap" was used to empty the bucket, it wouldn't be long before it began to leak. I am annoyed on all counts. Having to purchase an entire pack again, the spin twice thing is nothing but a pain and utterly unnecessary, the "tap" won't take long before it begins to leak. All in all Sabco you have lost me with the Gen2 bucket which is in the garage never to be used and my husband put a screw through the shank of the mop so I now have 2 mops and I'm going to treat the "old bucket" like gold so that I can keep using it until my 'floor washing days are over" because I am still a fan of the Original and love everything about it but Gen2 Bucket - no thank you.

Love the spin mop – Love the spin mop as removes a lot of the water compared to others I have tried. I find it awkward to get the mop to sit in the bucket to spin. I need to adjust it straight with hands. Am I doing something wrong? Show details · 1
Sabco spin mop – Can you use boiling water with this mop head please ? I had another brand for years they changed the type of head and it mattes with boiling water terrible ! I have now brought your mop and ask before use. Thank you Show details · 2
Great Customer service – I asked Sabco where i could purchase a new spin mop head and they said, don't worry we will send you one. So they did. I have had this mop for a couple of years now and I find it an easy system to use. They could probably change the handle system to a twin handle that meets in the middle as it does get a bit rocky when you pick it up with water. I… Read more · 1

Excellent customer service – I have used the item for almost two years and have found it to be an effective cleaning device. A problem has just occurred which affected the mop head spinning operation due to plastic fittings fracturing. I contacted Sabco to purchase a replacement mop head and they immediately responded offering to supply a free replacement. A wonderful unexpected outcome. Thanks Sabco ! Show details · 1

Bucket sometimes is a little difficult to use but you get used to it and must be careful when moving it around
Surprisingly good – I was surprised as to how much water I could mop up with this small head, it was effective. The mop bucket system took a little to get used to as the central part lifts up and down but it worked well. I've only had it for a couple of weeks but the top rounded end of the pole has already come apart. Show details · 3
