4 Shane  · Great car – Very professional and friendly staff. They allowed me to collect the car during lockdown which was awesome. Car is great! Thanks Sadek.
5 Big man  · Great Service – I found the car I was looking for. They where very helpful and friendly. The car was a little over priced.
1 Scott  · Buyer beware – UnRoadworthy vehicle being advertised in great condition, then aggressive when challenged. Avoid them like the plague, not worth the bother

I have dealt with Sam at Sadek Motor Group for more than 15 years now and bought more than 5 cars in last 10 - 15 years. I find them to be of high integrity and easy to deal with. the staff are very supportative and patient when dealing with customers and management is highly professional

Follow-up  · All I can says is that Saddek Motors are hands down the best dealership in Sydney

WARNING: All the other negative reviews are right. Spent $339 and got a confirmation - this dealership lies to its customers. I am an interstate buyer who inquired about a Red 2021 BMW 1 Series 128ti (via the Carsales link: https://www.sadekmotorgroup.com.au/cars/used-red-2021-bmw-1 Series-983). My contact was salesperson [Name Removed]. [Name… Read more

Removed] called, assuring me the car was great, low kms, and without any issues, and heavily leveraging the family business and 35 years of experience to build false trust and pressure me for a deposit. Since my primary concern as an interstate buyer was the paint and body condition, I requested a FaceTime call. During this call, [Name Removed] conveniently pointed the camera only at the car’s good sections, mentioning only a light scruff (close to the rear bumper, photo attached) that could be buffed out. He made absolutely no mention of any other chips, dents, or paint issues.

He also failed to disclose the almost $500 in non-negotiable admin fees—a cost I only learned about later from other online reviews — and he didn't confirm it until after I asked, saying that this fee is disclosed on their website and that the car was already cheap.

The Inspection Revealed the Truth (and Saved Me Thousands). Despite his high-pressure sales pitch and promises, I decided to book a Premium CarInspect inspection (at a cost of $339). I am eternally grateful I did.

The professional mechanic's report confirmed the deception, finding several significant issues that [Name Removed] actively hid, including:

A MASSIVE DENT on the driver’s door that was completely obscured or ignored during the FaceTime call and cleverly hidden in the Carsales photos. (Sharing the touched-up ad photo and the real one from the inspector here.) The body condition was so bad that it received a 55 out of 100.

Multiple code errors were detected on the scan machine.

Each tyre on the car was from a different brand.

After receiving the damning report, I texted [Name Removed] asking when he was planning to mention the massive door dent. I never heard from him again.

It is truly a shame that a dealership operating with such dishonesty is allowed to continue, and I strongly urge Carsales to ban companies like this from its platform. My $339 inspection fee was worth it to receive undeniable proof that Sadek Motor Group deliberately misrepresents its vehicles to customers. Buyers beware.

They let me make my own decision not getting my hopes up also letting me freely test drive the cars having as much time to go over the ones I liked. Bought a Forester. 2 years ago. Problem 1: The car was full of sand, probably a car that was around the beach and had a pet in the back as the leather seats were dry from salt. That's ok the car can be cleaned, didn't worry much about it especially when they said they will DETAIL the car. Got the car and there was sand everywhere, in the… Read more

crevices of the seats, carpet and a tonne of sand inside the seat belt buckle. Car Stank as well. Took the car to them a few days after receiving it. The guy got a high pressure hose and blew some of the sand off, didnt get all of it off. There was sand still in the seat rails. Car still smelt like dog and I had to get a professional detailing done which I paid for which fixed the smell and all of the sand. Problem 2: When I test drove the car the battery died. No big deal as they said they'll replace it. A few weeks after I took the car home the battery died on me (luckily on my driveway). They obviously gave a used battery they pulled out from another car sitting around. Problem 3: Cars transmission was leaking. $1,500 to fix that. This issue was identified within a few months of receiving the car but just outside the warranty although without a doubt was like that when I bought it. You can't identify this if the car hasn't been run for months and sitting on the yard. This also shows they dont go through their cars with diligence. Problem 4: AC hose leaking within a year. I spent more money on the car such as a recent AC compressor failing but I can't directly blame the dealer for that 2 years later.

I think this is like a side hussle for them. Go to a more reputable dealer or go private with due diligence.

Land Rover Discovery Sport Engenium Engine issue with Timing Chain – Land Rover Car even with a standing mechanical issue from the Land Rover Supplier I bought a car with Sadek twice. But less than a year it started to have rattle noise. I went to Sadek around… Read more

Feb 2024 for change oil which is 10 months old after purchase. The mechanic of Sadek said it is noisy. Then the owner told me you have to take it to LMK. I rang LMK, he said he does not accept Integrity Warranty insurance anymore. I told Sadek owner if I can change it as it is very noisy, The owner said fix it will change it. This is still in February 2024. The owner told me over text message on 23rd Feb. 2024 to ask land rover as there might be a mechanical issue of this car. With only short km compared to a normal car to have to change a timing chain, the land rover needed to change a timing chain. I asked an expert mechanic with European cars from Goulburn. He told me that he had done a lot similar and Discovery sport has an engenium engine which creates a timing chain kit issue even with a short km wear and tear use. I begged to Sadek to help me fix it or replace it. Sadek was saying the parts insurance will help but the insurance have denied the 3 mechanical shop who diagnose it. They refused to help me fix it. I have reported to the fair trading. Never buy a car from them.

If I could give them 0 stars I would – Old school, dodgy car dealer. Never, ever buy a Landcruiser from them, they buy dirt cheap cars that have low ks but have been thrashed from being used on mostly Qld mining sites and sell them to people who don't know better, who are then up for 15k plus in repairs. Will sell you a lemon, with a 3 year warranty that doesn't exist.

Good car bad experience – I purchased a Honda CRV from this dealership. I am quite happy with the car so far. I do have a few issues with the experience I received. hours thinking it would go to a work phone then they would reply back the next day but they instead they got annoyed at me. I think they should maybe have a work phone number.

I also had a redbooks inspection done then I talked to Sammy on the 12th of february about the repairs that needed to be done. He told me they would be done by Monday the 14th. I believe for the first week the car sat there at the dealership until I started to follow it up. Eventually the car was ready for pick up on the 25th of February. So it took 14 days to get repaired. I personally think they just left it sitting there for a while. This is too long to wait.

I was also told the car gets a full detail. I have attached some photos of there "detail" job. I was told the car would be ready for 10:30am on the 25th but we ended getting there around 12:30pm then they made us wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for this horrible detail job. There was a screw driver in the back of the car that was under a floor mat. I noticed they do details there so I would definitely not go back and pay $275 for this detail which was the price just for a detail.

I also would of thought that they would of given me a full tank of fuel but it was only half full.

Overall I am happy with the actual car just not the detail and experience they gave me. I wish they would be abit more professional. This is just my opinion.

I lost so much money, I am now traumatized by the whole experience and don’t trust anyone selling a used car. Family-owned dealership with family values – I was looking for a car for my 85-year-old father who wanted a Toyota car with a manual transmission. We had a budget of $4k. at 7am in the morning while he was having breakfast. This positive interaction was the start of a great experience with the Sadek Motor Group. This car was the second car we inspected. I took it for a test drive and was quite surprised how smooth it was and the ease of changing gears.

We were originally going to see two other cars but Sam, the owner of the dealership was present and he discounted the price to our budget of $4k. The owner and his staff were very respectful not only to me being a female but also to my elderly parent. It’s a family run company with family values. It was a very seamless and pleasant experience.

They also went out of their way to fix a door handle that a customer had broken the week before and do some detailing on the car. It’s the small things such as Sarkis (Sam's nephew) offering to pick us from the station to go to the dealership.

My father is extremely happy with his purchase. We’ve only had to change the tyres but otherwise, it’s pretty perfect for his needs. We actually bought it on the day that the second NSW lockdown started at 6pm so we were very lucky that the owner was so persistent and willing to close the deal or otherwise my father wouldn’t have a car to get around in if we had waited a week.

As Sam said, you’re not buying a car, we’re buying freedom, independence and happiness for my father and he’s thrilled with the purchase. It feels very safe to drive and its great car for my dad who has a restricted licence to get from A to B such as church, shopping and seeing his friends.

At Your Risk: dont buy Contactless cars from Sadek Motors ( have other names) – WARNING: The car noted below has been relisted on carsales with the original advert, price and selling company.!!! see below I was looking for a midlife crisis car - but a quiet one - midlife crisis and car. Searching about for a while I settled on a Volvo C30 (yes I wear a hat, yes Im bald, yes Im old - nearly, and yes I love driving Volvos).… Read more

I found a 2010 model C30 with 40,000kms - a base model, the pictures advertised it as looking good.

I initially rang and was advised it was being sold by Sadek Motor Group - Prestige vehicles at Revesby and the car was a one owner, garaged, a 'lovely car', but the car owner was still using it while waiting for their replacement. Lie 1. The car was actually purchased from a wholesale car auction a few months earlier, had run up an additional 300km while in the car yards possession, and had no sign of ever being garaged, and was anything but in a lovely condition. I have photos a plenty to confirm this. But I am ahead of myself..... I was introduced to '[Name Removed]'. He advised the car was available but due to Covid19 all car purchases were contactless only, that is, no visiting the yard to inspect or drive, and a sort of inspection could only be by 'Zoom' or similar streaming. External inspections by an NRMA like mechanic would only be by phone so I was told. With a lot of caution I had a streaming link with [Name Removed] but with relative impatient phone/camera handling and sun reflection it was difficult to really see the body & paintwork, motor or interior with certainty, although it was clearly not detailed inside or out. Of note was a possible cigarette smoke stain on the ceiling above the steering wheel. When questioned whether it was a smokers car, we received an definite 'no' The motor looked clean but was all I could do. Clearly it was not a garaged car, but I was advised - the car would be fully detailed inside and out - the car would be mechanically checked over by their racing car specialists to ensure it was in excellent condition including replacing any parts of doubt and that the compulsory dealers charge of $495 was to accommodate these costs. That the car would not leave the yard unless in top condition.

With low Kms, and these undertaking on detailing & mechanics I purchased the car without discount and without registration (just lapsed). I laboured to confirm that these preconditions had to be met.

Yes you guessed correctly, the car arrived by truck a couple of weeks later (no access to Revesby as in lockdown), in anything but detailed, or serviced or repaired. It was filthy inside and out with good tyres being replaced with new? but inferior quality. The engine while looking fairly clean showed no signs of servicing let alone repair, with very low oil and old discoloured coolant a clear indication of no servicing.

I textd and emailed with no [Name Removed] reply. I felt I had been ripped off wholly. Oh, and yes, the big point, it reeked of long term cigarette smoke. (the 'smokers?' stain sighted as above was gone however).

Edited: i deleted a large section of this review as far too long....

IN SUMMARY I purchased a used car in good faith 'contactless' due to covid. I did so conditional on the advised condition of the car and also on the full detailing and mechanical servicing. None of the preconditions nor advice received was correct. Contactless made me more 'dependent' on their honesty. I relied on - and stated so - the undertakings given, all which turned out to be lies. This I think is as about as bad an experience as one can have, fulfilling a negative stereotypical image of the used car salesman industry. This salesman made no contact nor attempt to reconcile the matter . After numerous letters and conversations with the General Manager [Name Removed] and after THE MOTOR BLEW UP with Steam Train volumes of smoke pouring out of it, a negotiated return was agreed to but only after I accepted $2000 less.

I am left with a 'sour taste' overall at what appeared to as a corrupted an experience as could be. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FAMILY OF Car BUSINESS'

As the saying goes "would you buy car from a used car salesman"?.............

Exceptional service and quality delivered throughout – So I totally changed my tact with with this car-buying project, after visiting quite a number of second-hand dealers over 5 weeks and not getting anywhere: instead of looking for the car, switched to looking for the most reputable and decent dealerships first, and; then see if they had the most acceptable vehicle for my specific needs and budget. … Read more

Was quite comfortable about what I had read about Sadek Motor Group, and felt that if there was a vehicle that was going to meet my criteria (with my vehicle to trade-in), then I would just go for it because the time spent already and the registration of my vehicle were running thin.

So I called up late on the Saturday afternoon, spoke with Danny to confirm that a couple of the vehicles of interest were still available, and provided them the details of my trade-in - so there was transparency from the beginning. Was given verbal confirmation that a deal could be done if I go down to the yard. Met with Sakis, the next mid-morning at the Revesby yard. Was very surprised that I wasn't jumped on like a lost prey in the outback or by a flock of seagulls to a bag of hot chips! I was able to walk into the air-conditioned office, let Sakis know that I was ready to have a chat soon - he was in the middle of negotiations with another couple. Went around the yard and had a good look for 15 minutes, and a couple of vehicles caught my eye. Once I was sure of the "one", I sat in the waiting area for him to finish with his previous customers; mainly to observe how he was conducting the tone of the negotiation and what the process was going to look like.

Found a couple of vehicles in their yard (although one stood out more), had to reconsider my budgeting, and was keen to sell my vehicle as a very well looked after trade-in - at this point, was locked and loaded to do business with this company. Felt that the negotiation was fair, and it didn't take-up more than an hour of mindless back-and-forthing. Also got to speak to Sam, the owner of the business, to see if there was any more wiggle room in either my trade-in and the soon-to-be purchased vehicle, and was pleased when I did get a slightly revised offer, which was satisfactory enough for me handing over a holding deposit.

The exemplary conduct of Sakis throughout the process enabled me to put a sizeable deposit upfront (40%) because there was no feeling of being pushed, at all. I was given the peace of mind that if I were to change my mind overnight, then there would not be any repercussions for me. All I wanted to do, was to simply sleep on the deal and be sure I did not get pushed into a quick decision. I had a few minor questions in the morning, got them answered by Sam and Sakis, and willingly transferred the remaining balance that day, satisfied with their response.

Agreed for the transfer and collection to be on following the weekend, but I made a snap decision to push it all through a few days earlier, as I wanted the new vehicle sooner. There was was no objection with this, I was dutifully advised that the final checks of the vehicle were scheduled for the day after I wanted early-pick-up, at the workshop in Ederslie. I was offered to bring it in after the weekend, as Sam insisted that the "After-Sales" was something Sadek prided themselves on. I did take the new vehicle for a good spin and gave it a push around the Blue Mountains, only finding some very minor issues that would certainly have been picked-up on the inspection. I listed them and sent through to Sam, who was very forthcoming in inviting me down to Ederslie, so the car could be thoroughly checked and those minor issues to be rectified.

Went there over 2 weeks later, and here, higher standards reached. I was politely greeted by every employee who I came across in the yard, and they did what I expected, and more: a thorough check completed, rectification of my own observations and they discovered a couple of new very minor issues that did not meet THEIR standard of releasing a pre-owned vehicle, and fixed them also (at no extra cost to me). This all was done in 2 hours, as well as detailed clean inside and out (assuming that is normal expectation). Was not pushed on the idea of having the car serviced there in future, as they were aware that I had travelled over 60kms, but left me with an open invitation; with assurances that the car would be given the ongoing quality care of THEIR standards, if I did.

I believe Sam and his team demonstrated that they are true experts in this field, and finding a family-valued business who take tremendous pride with what and how they do things is extremely rare to find, especially these days. They are not the stereotypical sharks attempting to fully rip you off, they just operate at a high level of quality.

My advice: go there with on your best behavior and don't be shifty. Wishing for a similarly amazing experience for you, like I did on this occasion - will not hesitate to go back to Sadek Motor Group for my next vehicle and encourage you to experience what they can offer before you check other pre-owned dealers out there.
